The design and utilities of the apartment, location, security guards, maid service, pool, courtyards, adjacent restaurants were all very good.

It was not as advertised in the pictures. It was on a dirt road with barely any street lighting. No phone on the rooms. Called the staff to let them know of my late arrival and even though they assured me they would wait for me, there was no one when I arrived. They left a note with phone number by the door and if it wasnt that the taxi driver let me borrow his cell phone, I would have end up sleeping on the street.

Location is closeby Punda and many restaurants.

The room was a bit dark and it was often a very noisy either because of fighting guests, a party at the hairdresser around the corner or late night drunken passers-by's

Location and price. It is within easy walking distance of Willemstad and on the road out of town to some of the fashionable beach resorts. We stayed in a very nice two room apartment, with a swimming pool just outside the back door, a restaurant just outside the front door and a cafe 50m away, yet it is still a quiet part of town, and very reasonably priced. Perfect.

Lovely renovated buildings in the Spanish Quarter - delightfully renovated to taste and with sympathy. Lovely staff and great restaurants/bars nearby - check out Ginger and Mundo Bizzaro - both great places to hang out, great ambiance. Great value appartments in good location 5 minutes from centre of town.

The Apartment was part of a complex of old buildings which had been renovated to modern standards. It was done beautifully: my apt. For 1 Adult was roomy (loft-sized), tastefully designed (reminded me of an ikea style), included a kitchenette with basic appliances & dishes, a/c, fan, a room safe, locks on windows; room was freshened up daily; pools (smaller) on site. Has parking facilities, if needed. Within 5 min walk of grocery store & 10 min walk of Willemstad Town: restaurants, cafes, tourist shops, historical sites, bus & Taxi stands close by. Cruise ship stop, so plenty of people around. Since I was travelling solo, I did not do many nighttime activities, but the tour books were filled with things to do/places to go. The management at Pietermaai Smal was extremely helpful in setting me up in the area, advised when & what was safe to do, helped me set up my tours, answered all of my questions, kept me posted with any changes that came up. There are 2 restaurant/cafe businesses attached to this Apt complex, which was nice, if one did not wish to venture out too far. Security Guards worked the area from evening to morning. As a solo traveller, on a bit of a budget, this suited my semi-independent needs. I looked at other places, resorts, etc., and I would consider this place in the middle, not so basic that one has to spend all meals/time out, not so accommodating that one never leaves. Since I was not sure what to expect exactly, this turned out to be a lovely way to get to know the Island, as a first-time visit. I would definitely stay here again, particularly if revitalizing of area continues & prices stay as reasonable. I might rent a car next time around, for a bit more accessibility to rest of island, as taxis can be expensive & busses do not go everywhere.

Because this area is very close to Town/City life, including the attached restaurants, the night-life can be a bit loud; students stay in this area as well. I am not sure if the people in the other buildings could hear the noise as much, but the one restaurant was directly behind my building & the street was directly in front...so traffic could be a bit loud, late into the eve as well. While I was used to this, coming from the city, this might not be the area one picks if they are looking for complete quiet & relaxation. Some aspects of the room seem to be set up for tall people. I am 5' tall, and the mirror attached to the 'washroom' sink was a bit too high for me; there was another full-length mirror in the room, so that solved that issue. Also, toilet was a bit high for me, feet dangled :) Be advised no blankets & bed is not soft, if that is what one is used to. Although outside gate to courtyard has a keylock, is not as secure, as one can put their hands through 'windows' to open lock from other side (although handy if one forgets their key). The immediate surrounding area, gave me pause when I first arrived, as there are abandoned, broken down buildings causing me to wonder about safety-issues (again, solo traveller); as time went on & learned about the revitalizing project going on in this area, learned where/when to go to places and could see/hear much construction going on (again, a minus, if looking for a complete quiet/resting vacation). The transfer service recommended for travel to/from airport requires a minimum of 2 people; would have appreciated this service as a solo traveller, for safety/reliability reasons; tried setting up a 6am taxi pickup, a day ahead & fellow never showed up. Luckily, took a chance with the on-duty Security Guard and was able to get a safe ride to airport.

quarto com pessima limpeza e cheio de baratas. trocamos de quarto e tambem era cheio de baratas. Pelo visto não há detetização de controle. Paredes mofadas. muito barulhento! Estão fazendo muitas obras no entorno.

Ett utmärkt läge nära centrum, med en underbar personal och ett bra läge med stan inom gångavstånd. Bra service utan att vara ett "resort". Bra aircondition- vilket sammerligen behövdes. Vi är supernöjda, och bor man centralt får man räkna med att åka till stranden....

Man kunde kanske önska sig att ljudisoleringen (obefintlig) varit lite bättre. Elaka myggor - inte många, men de gav mycket kliande och stora "blemmor".

De prijs is niet in verhouding met hetgeen u krijgt. De deluxe studio's bieden niets van luxe: geen haardroger, geen TV en geen warm water. De kitchenette heeft 2 kookplaten, wat het dus onmogelijk maakt om warm eten te maken. De verf komt van de muren en de studio is niet proper.

Alles ok, zeer vriendelijke behandeling en zijn echttt klantvriendelijk en de ligging is top in Willemstad, alleen de foto's zijn algemeen je weet niet in welke appartement je terecht komt , maar dat is echt de verrassing, bedankt lieve mensen voor de service !

A falta de informação. Durante uma semana nao encontrei uma pessoa na recepção Para poder esqualecer algumas duvidas.

O atendimento do rapaz que nos mudou de quarto depois de várias tentativas de conserto do ar condicionado e colocação de ventiladores, logo na chegada ao hotel.

Não existe praia na frente, só algumas cadeiras nas pedras. A internet é cara e péssima, quase nào conseguiamos sinal, somente fora do quarto, em alguns horários. A limpeza é péssima, louça não lavada, lixo não retirado. Sem amenidades, como sabonete, shampoo, detergente para a minicozinha, etc. Ficamos muito arrempedidos!

Bien situé, à proximité du centre ville, des restaurants et magasins. Appartement spacieux et bien décoré. Accueil chaleureux à l'arrivée.

Appartement tres sombre, obligé d'allumer la lumiére meme en journée. Mauvaise isolation sonore: on entend tout ce qui se passe chez les voisins! Présence de cafards dans la cuisine. L'appartement est joli mais pas fonctionnel. Une location de voiture est indispensable pour visiter l'ile.

O estacionamento é na rua, embora a informação fornecida seja no sentido de que há estacionamento. Wi-fi é cobrado: us$ 5,00 por hora ou us$ 15,00 por dia. A recepcionista somente indicou restaurantes "parceiros", os quais deixam muito a desejar. A cidade tem boas opções de restaurantes (principalmente no Rif Fort), mas a recepcionista ou desconhece tais opções, o qur não é crível, ou as omite propositadamente. No quesito "informação ao turista" nota zero!
