- Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht - unbegründet arrogante Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption - am Telefon kein Informationsblatt, wie beispielsweise die Rezeption telefonisch zu erreichen ist - bei Nachfrage zur Benutzung des Telefons arrogante aber trotzdem sachlich falsche Auskunft - Fernseher kein Empfangssignal - Ventilator vom Bad nicht abschaltbar - Rostflecken an den Bodenfliesen im Bad / WC

Good Location in historic Willemstaad.

The man in charge of the towels was a little hostile. Actually the whole "we have to guard the towels from the guest stealing them thing " is a little crazy. They hold a security deposit of 25 usa dollars for your towel and issue you a card. Every time you want a towel you must hand your towel card to the towel guard. He then gives you a towel. One day they gave us only one towel..and we as new guests, didn't realize that we need a card for the towel,that we didn't get anyways..the next day he challenged us that we didn't have a card, and therefore we must have taken a towel we hadn't returned. What a joke. These towels that their guarding are a least a year old are bright orange and threadbare and frayed. We are paying $150 us per night..they have our open visa card at the front desk..we're trusting the hotel with thousands of dollars of credit card acess..and there worried that we might steal a towel I wouldn't, use to dry my dog with at home. Sad thig is there system of towel guarding costs, the hotel probably thousands of dollars a month (including the guards wages)..to guard what I would estimate is a a total of $20 usa dollars of rags. You also can see that the towel guard also intimidates the other staff, of the hotel, by his threatening manner. The best thing that the hotel could do ..is to fire the towel guard an eliminate entirely the towel guarding system.Later we needed to print our flight itinerary from our email, and this 4 star hotel, has no printer for the guests to use..except the one the towel guard has..and he's belligerent that I want to use it. Also the last day of our stay they drained the pool, without any warning. The staff (other than the towel guard) were nice, but seemed ton ot be able to help you, unless the specific staff member was working..who had the code..or knew how to run the computer, kinda like they don't know their entire job...or that they can"t work without the key people, that are absent.The hotel has new ownership..

The view was amazing.

It took two room changes and paying an extra $20 per day to get a room with a view. The description of the rooms online is misleading. The hotel seemed to be in need of repair or remodeling and smelled moldy in a lot of areas. With an update to the hotel and a better description of the rooms I would recommend this hotel.

I was surprised about the bad conditions of the hotel I used to go there years ago and it used to be a 5 star ghotel I woul give it a ranking of 2 o 3 stars........no water!!! Room service , most employees are very slow.....it is pitty because its location is unique for business. RGDS

I read all the reviews of past guests, and still decided to stay at the Plaza, due to the comments of location. I loved the location of the Plaza Hotel, it really is a great location to all the Punda and Otrabanda area. It's easy to access everthing and in a safe area to walk to and from the hotel. The view from the room was absoluetly great! There were a lot of positives about this place along with the usual negatives.

The rooms could really use some very through cleaning. The bathroom floor was very dirty and molding in the corners of the tile and the grout was very, very dirty. No electrical outlet in the bathroom which made it difficult to dry my hair. The security of the room was unacceptable. The chain on the door was not security and the door knobs did'nt work properly. The fact that other than the door know being locked from the outside, these rooms on not secure. Left the Hotel at 6am to go back to the airport, but the staff could not find a cab for 45 minutes later.(not the staff's problem) Made our flight but very close. The staff was great about continuing to get ahold of a cab for us!

Location, location, location

Lack of information .... how to go about daily activities. Peeling paint exposed plaster and door to our room didn't close fully, rust stains in tub, shower tiny , view from 6 was good but my picky daughter would not have been happy at this hotel.

Excellent localization , good prices for breakfast and to stay , nice swimming pool, beatiful view , very kind staff , we can go walking dowtown and with us$ 15 is possible to go by taxi to Mambo Beach , an excellente beach to go.

There is a lot of mosquitos near the reception and if you not pay attention some birds can eat the bread in your breakfast if you use the outdoor tables.

Right in the Center of the City and still quite and avery save spot.Walking distance of down town,exellent spot.

The location is excelent. The online reservation was ok for me. The room was very accomodating for us, 4 people. Everything was ok.

Proximity to the restaurants and shopping--- the view from our room--- the front desk staff - very friendly and helpful...

Breakfast in the restaurant…room cleaning service…lack of room-service…

I already wrote a review for this hotel. My overall experience was very positive. I hope I get a chance to stay there again in the future.
