The resort itself is large and has a lot of amenities that are probably amazing during a different time of the year (not New Years). The infinity pool was nice, but it's not the color blue like it is in online photos. Good shopping at the resort.

Nice room and facilities. We loved having the ocean just in front of the hotel therefore the possibility to swim at walking distance from our room. Also one of the best places to have breakfast in the area.

I like walking around the city on both sides of the bridge.
I like walking around the city on both sides of the bridge. It is funny how the stores do not really follow an opening/closure schedule so if you might like doing some shopping you should forget about the beach day and walk around the nice stores. There is a nice and new art gallery called Bagira Artist and Gallery, the artist is an open heart person and her job is superb! She allowed me to visit the installations during a time that everything was closed.

For the price that was charged I expected way more.
For the price that was charged I expected way more. For instance they don't have any parking on site. Very often the closest on-street parking I could find was a long walk away and this was very frustrating. The room we stayed in was shown as ocean view but it was kind of a side view. Again, this would have been fine for much lower cost but at about USD 350 a night I expected at least parking at the facility (even if it meant paying some more). Also charging for Coffee pods was silly, keep in mind I was paying USD 1350 for the stay and they wanted to add 5 more bucks for the coffee pods!
Outside of the above, rest was fine. One of the staff was very helpful. Place was very clean and the the full property was well maintained. The main tourist area is about a 15 minute walk so the location is not bad.

Willemstad, capital of Curaçao, enchants with colorful Dutch colonial style architecture, as in Punda and Otrobanda. Its crystal clear beaches offer spectacular diving. The floating Queen Emma Bridge and the Floating Market are attractions to be seen.

I have been to Curacao twice, and still have not been to Mambo Beach. Otherwise the downtown area is a must for a visit. The point in bridge at night lights up, you have the Curacao sign, the Dushi sign and the iguana. All around just a beautuful island with beautiful people.

Willemstad is an authentic and colorful Caribbean city with a very interesting Dutch colonial architecture in both sides of the city. To my surprise, I found that Otrobanda (where we've stayed) has been beautifully renovated with some parts full of cultural buildings, museums, small colorful streets and excellent street-art displays. The highlight is the magnificent view of the harbour and the bridge that rotates full of lights, it's an spectacle!
There isn't a frequent or reliable public transportation, almost none in the city. I found it very disappointing to be obligated to rent a car or take Taxis to get around.

I was there for work so I really had no time to enjoy much of Curaçao and Willemstad. But the city felt nice and safe. It has a beautiful architecture that really reflects its UNESCO world heritage status. I enjoyed the visit to the acquarium on Mambo beach, the bar at the windsurf school at Spaanse Water and the maritime history museum downtown. Still a lot of things to see and I didn't even make it to the beach!
This place is truly bizarre.
On the paper it is perfect and with the facilities they it should be one of the hot spots in curacao.
However you get a weird vibe staying there, lights in common areas are really dark and for a hostel you see no one and there is a weird vibe. How could it be with so many jakuzzis and beach areas available and even a bar?
It feels like they have seen better days and management needs to redo a few minor things and they can be a having easy reviews up to 9-10 at booking.com. Local staff was very friendly.
If like me you hate trashy resorts and prissy boutique hotels, Bed & Bike Jan Thiel is probably your best bet in Curacao. Located in an upscale residential neighborhood, it has the advantage of not being stranded amid the desolation of derelict downtown Willemstad. The swimming pool is great. You can cook your own meals in the communal outdoor kitchen or have a bite at the bar (the menu is always the same, but at least it's there). The colorful buildings can be seen from a distance and it really felt cozy. They have Netflix.
The location was great, sort of between the city and the beaches. So both are easy to get to if you have a car, which you'll need anyway in Curacao. Can recommend the resort's own rental service. Stayed in one of the lodges, modern and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Close to several supermarkets if you want to cook in. Friendly and helpful staff, always available for questions via whatsapp. The resort is located in its own gated compound so felt very safe.
Outstanding establishment! The service was awesome, the location was great and very close to shops, eateries and the downtown area. The staff was very attentive and responsive and the food and drinks were on point every time. This beautiful property had an amazing aesthetic, we really felt like we were back in the French Riviera. The check in and check out process was very simple! I will recommend this hotel for any and everyone who visits Curacao!
Great location. Close to town and beaches. Very safe. The corals are right next to the beach. The managers are very responsible and friendly, wonderful people.
The supermarket is not within walking distance. But managers can always offer you a lift, and you can also use a taxi. Riding in a taxi is safe and convenient, there is an application for this. But taxis are not cheap.
I recommend Curacao Luxury Holiday Rentals without a doubt.
The location of the hotel was great. Just a short walk between the magnificent colonial style houses and you are already in the heart of the city. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our deep thanks. Breakfast is just enough to start the day. All our wishes were resolved, and that was remarkable. The atmosphere was friendly, attentive, homely and supportive. When ever I can go to Curacao I always choose Villa Amalie.
Lovely apartment in a great location in Curacao. Easy self check-in. We had the apartment with the view on the street. For us is ok, cause we were always outside. It is a quiet area. The apartment has everything and fully equipped kitchen. Pietermaai is kind of a new fast developing area with many restaurants, bars and various establishments within walking distance to the center of Curaçao.
The location, the facilities and the staff were exceptional. Raul, Sarah and Ellis were highly responsive and accommodating with any requests or needs. The private beach with shower and shade huts and trees was lovely. Like every beach in Curacao, snorkeling feet from the shore provided an amazing array of colorful fish.
I would definitely stay here again if given the possibility.
Hostess was very friendly, no hidden charges. Lots of bed sheets and towels provided. The apartment was on a second floor on a quiet street. There was a sliding gate to park car securely. The apartment was huge for Curacao standards. The living room and kitchen were large. Our kitchen had all kinds of utensils with microwave and full size refrigerator.
Very friendly hosts, very clean appartement, everything you need available. Hosts lent us a cool box and gave us mangos from their tree. Sun roof a nice feature, also for star gazing. Inside area bit too small to really hang out with an entire family but who wants to stay inside on a lovely island like Curaçao anyway?
The luxury suite with private pool, the value for money, the location with three beach clubs. Very convenient and the staff were super nice. Loved the beach beds automatically reserved for us every day and the weather was perfect in Curacao. The staff went out of their way to procure coconut water for my child
Perfect location on Curaçao; nice big refurbished room; very clean; great shower; 1 minute from the beach! Receptionist waited for us in the evening on King's day, when our flight was delayed. Thank you and for the airport pickup. Well organized!
The apartment is excellent. The breakfast is good too.
Clear and Shirley are amazing persons. Always close to help you giving some tips about some beautiful places to know in Curaçao.
I highly recommend the staying there.
Good location, close to supermarket. But you have to rent a car to go to a restaurant and beach. Big parking space is also include in price. Friendly staff. Definitely one of the best cheap hotel on Curacao.
Great location between Willemstad and the beautiful beaches of western Curaçao. The owner and groundskeeper are really nice, and it’s awesome that the accommodation comes with beach passes for Blue Bay.
Spacious room. Also had a microwave and kettle.
Walking distance to swinging bridge and over to willemstad.
Stores for shopping were next door and along the stretch of road with the hotel.
Lovely veranda. Great kitchen facilities, washing machine and a very welcome 'welcome pack' of food, beer and soft drinks.
Also very close to Curacao marine where we are renovating our yacht
