The food needs major improvement. Breakfast is a joke for the amount of money you must pay. What happened to the chef making eggs, omelette, and waffles? No option for just a bowl of cereal, I had to pay $39 x 3 for 3 bowls of cereal and a cup of coffee. We were doing morning dives and didn't want a big meal. There was no variety for dinner, the menu never changes. Overal the food was no where near what it was only a year ago when we visited. The drain for our outdoor shower was clogged and was never fixed so we couldn't use it. Our room for our kids 122 had major issues with the door lock. You had no on site maintenance after 5pm and you had to put the kids up in another room because nobody could unlock the door. When maintenance did come at 8:30 the next morning he couldn't open the door and ended up climbing thru the bathroom window to gain entrance. When we arrived back at 5pm the door still wasn't operating correctly. The same day we had no maid service in our room 222. Not once were shampoo,bodywash and towles replaced This is a sampling of the issues that left a mediocure view of the lodge. Overall the place is nowhere close to the facility it was a year ago and I will be hard pressed to stay there again.

quite old rooms - need of renovation. not vey well cleaned. Expensive food and not value for the money when it comes to food.

Location Climate Beach

Lack of shops outside of the lodge(small local supermarket would have been nice). Only one kitchen for all restaurants=> all food is/tastes the same and very little to choose from. Service! Restaurant and service was extremely slow. Pool towels came to poolside only after lunch. Gym needs serious service. Lack of transport between town and the lodge....why not 2-3 shuttle busses per day?

Excellent dive area. Beautiful views nice pool and friendly staff. Dinner on the beach very nice. I reccomend you try Sol sun restaurant wihin walking distance.

Air conditioner in our room would work well at times and at times it would barely cool. Staff looked at it but problem not resolved.Our room was never hot just not as cool as it should be. They had no record of our booking but they found a room with two queen beds instead of the king we requested. They also need a few more lounge chairs at the beach.

Die Hotelanlage gehört zu den schönsten auf der Insel. Die Villen verstecken sich in einem gut gepflegten tropischen Park mit einer Blüten- und Vogelpracht. Dank des immerwährenden NE-Passats ist es nie schwül, es gibt kaum stechendes Ungeziefer. Deswegen kann man mit offenen Fenstern / Türen - selbst ohne die effiziente Klimaanlage - die sommerlichen Temperaturen genießen. Das Seaview-Appartement ist mit einer Kitchinette ausgestattet, die alles enthält, was zur Zubereitung kalter Mahlzeiten erforderlich ist. (Korkenzieher und Küchenhandtücher fehlen.) Es gibt keinen schöneren und luftigeren Platz für Frühstück und Abendessen auf der eigenen Terrasse, das denken auch die bunten Vögel Die ganze Anlage ist mit 220 V ausgerüstet (normale Schuko-Dose).

Das Hotel liegt fernab von jeder Einkaufsmoglichkeit. Nähester Supermarkt ca 30 AutoMinuten Entfernung. Der Hotelshop bietet ein kleines Sortiment an Getränken. Der Hotelstrand ist kurz, schmal und zu Teilen von angeschwemmtem Korallenschutt bedeckt. Auch beim Schnorcheln sind wenige lebende Korallen zu entdecken. Das Gleiche gilt für die bunten Fischchen. Für Riff-Taucher mag das anders sein. Lohnend ist es, die vielen schönen Buchten der Westküste bis Willemstad zu besuchen für ein Karibikpurfeeling . Ein Mietwagen ist dafür unerlässlich. Das gastronomische Angebot im Hotel erscheint auf Dauer nicht attraktiv. .

Wir haben nicht das von uns gebuchte Apartement bekommen, sondern sollten in ein anderes Hotel umquatiert werden. Als wir das ablehnten, wurde uns ein Zimmer auf dem Hotelgelände angeboten, das gut ausgestattet war, allerdings ohne die von uns gewünschte Küche. Die Rechnung später, die uns vorgelehgt wurde, war völlig unverständlich und nicht nachvollziehbar - falsche Preise, falsche Zimmernummer etc. Obwohl die Lage der Lodge sehr schön ist und die Anlage insgesamt sehr ansprechend, können wir sie nicht unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Babybedje was erg slecht, matrasje was gewoon bodemplaat. Enigzins iets opgevld met een laken. En ligbedjes voor aan strand of zwembad waren hele dagen bezet doordat men sochtends vroeg de handoeken er al op klaar lag zodat niemand anders er gedurende dag gebruik van kon maken. (Misschien iets meer toezicht daar op of meer stoelen)

Ligging en natuur zijn prachtig.

Het geheel is niet goed bijgehouden aan onderhoud.

Localização,vista,quartos espaçosos

Lugar maravilhoso,vista espetacular,melhor lugar para mergulho. Quartos espaçosos e confortáveis.

Serviço (restaurantes) de quinta categoria,não condiz com a beleza do hotel. Garçons mal treinados.

Hotel ligt prachtig aan zee en er zijn diverse sfeervolle terrassen, waar je van de ondergaande zon kunt genieten. Ook de suites hebben een mooi uitzicht over zee.

Het prive terras bood te weinig mogelijkheden om in de schaduw te zitten. Bij hevige regenval moet je hier en daar op het terrein tot je enkels door het water om je kamer te bereiken. Verder is de staat van onderhoud van het complex matig. Na een hevige regenbui stond ook een plas water in de slaapkamer.

Prachtig aan kust gelegen resort.

De tennisbaan en het zwembad verdienen onderhoud.

De ligging, mooi park aan zee

Oud resort, moet duidelijk gerenoveerd worden,zowel zwembad als kamers. Zeer kleine diner kaart en ook niet van al te beste kwaliteit. Personeel op uitzonderingen na niet vriendelijk dan alleen wanneer ze je beter leerde kennen en service laat ook te wensen over. Wc rondom zwembad en restaurants ronduit slecht. Volgens informatie van de manager gaat er in 2013 een renovatie plaats vinden,te beginnen met het zwembad, lijkt ons een zeer goed idee. Zolang dit niet gebeurt is zullen wij niet terug keren, echter als over 2 jaar alles klaar is wel.

Sus instalaciones son bellas, las habitaciones tambien, la playa no es la mejor pero tambien tiene su encanto.

Me parece q el personal es poco amable, se limita a cumplir su trabajo con una aptitud mas bien seria y luciendo incluso descontentos. Los precios de la oferta gastronomica son elevados si pensamos desde el punto de vista costo beneficio y considerando q la ubicacion del hotel te obliga a consmir alli pues la distancia de limita. La limpieza de la habitacion era diaria y si se quiere buena, sin embargo note q no reponian los articulos de limpieza personal a menos q estubieran consumidos en su totalidad, nosotros nos alojamos durante 5 dias 4 noches (desde 20-09 al 24-09-12) y nunca nos resurtieron de jabon, champu, acondicionador, etc. el servicio de habitacion consistio en la limpieza y orden de las camas.

Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen met uitstekende terras, restaurant en zwembad faciliteiten. Het privé strand is ook een absolute must. Wij combineren het bezoek met een verblijf aan Kura Hulanda Willemstad nadat we een paar dagen zijn uitgerust. Tip: huur een kamer met keukentje (iets duurder) dan kun je voor de afwisseling ook zelf ontbijt en diner bereiden waarop je dan weer aardig bespaart.

La nourriture, très limite.

The ground floor ocean appartement interconnected with top floor ocean studio, it was so great to have privacy in the evenings and have our child sleep upstairs. Bring a baby monitor for peace of mind! The apartment was very spacious, big terrace. Great to have a kitchen to cook your own food. Although the hotel rules say they charge for pots and pans they dont actually charge this so just order them and clarify that there wont be a charge. Nearest supermarkets are 20 min away though and not that easy to find, also selection of food is very limited. Ready made baby food and more choice of food and international brands can only be found in downtown Willemstad which is 45 min drive, fyi. Although the pool of the hotel is small, it is often empty. Also not many children at the hotel which is nice for peace and quiet. The location of the hotel is good to go to nice beaches , would recommend cas abou as the best beach for kids as it has a big shady terrace. 20 min drive away. The hotel has a free ice cube dispenser which is nice. Also free wifi and parking. The movie and tv channels in the room are great.

Difficult to get down to the hotel private beach with all our baby kit etc as steep rocky stairs so we didn't use it very much. Also the hotel could use some more parasols and shady bits- unless you get up very early like 7-8 am (which we do anyway) you won't get a shady spot as others will best you to it and put their towels down before breakfast. The hotel is far from shops etc which can be inconvenient. We spent a week near Jan Thiel close to Willemstad before coming here which worked really well as we got the best of both worlds

Het strand en de netheid van de kamer

Alle faciliteiten voor een tophotel zijn aanwezig maar ze worden niet optimaal benut. Ze hebben bijvoorbeeld een heel mooi zwembad maar daar missen enkele tegeltjes dat een rommelig beeld geeft. Verder lag er tijdens ons verblijf een drol (van een hond of een leguaan) naast het zwembad. Deze heeft er gedurende twee dagen gelegen. Alles is aanwezig maar de finishing touch is er niet. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk maar hebben niet de mentaliteit die past bij een tophotel. Tafels worden niet op tijd afgeruimd zodat het mogelijk is dat je tijdens je hele diner naar een rommelige gebruikte tafel kijkt. Kortom, ruimte ter verbetering!

La playa es muy limpia, la naturaleza es increíble. En el hotel se puede descansar de verdad, no hay ruido y el entorno es maravilloso.

La piscina no es muy agradable. El desayuno no es muy variado, el personal que lo atiende es muy lento y es muy costoso para lo que se recibe. Algunos miembros del personal no son amables en el hotel.

A localização, provavelmente a melhor de Curacao e as instalações.

Ha sido la peor experiencia que he tenído en un Hotel. El servicio es deficiente, la gerencia maneja el lugar con una evidente avidéz de facturar a los más elevados costos cualquier consumo que se requiera, especialmente en lo relativo a las comidas, donde los costos son muy altos, siendo la calidad de los alimentos y el diseño del menú pésima. Considerando lo retirado y aislado que se encuentra el lugar de cualquier punto de servicio comercial, se hace inaceptable esta propuesta culinaria, ya que, no hay opción de escoger otra alternativa. Del mismo modo, sufrimos percanses a diario que no fueron resueltos oportunamente, los viajes al centro nunca eran a tiempo, las toallas para ser usadas en la piscina o playa debían ser buscadas en la recepción diariamente pues, en el puesto designado para ello, nunca había personal y recién al mediodía era cuando las colocaban. Habían cucarachas en la habitación y las continas estaban llenas de hongos y debimos mandarlas a retirar, el aire acondicionado se dañaba a diario y, a pesar de que venían técnicos hasta tres veces por día a revisar, el problema continuaba. Nunca hubo un acercamiento espontáneo por parte de la gerencia ni disculpas ante los contratiempos que se suscitaban. En general, el manejo era muy poco serio, desorganizado e informal. Considero que la propuesta del sitio es fraudulenta en relación a su publicidad y costos de facturación.

Prachtige lokatie, relaxte sfeer, prima eten.

Soms de geboden service, weinig verzorgde tuin en te weinig schaduw /parasols bij het strand.

The resort is very nice. Went on snorkel trip w/dive center (nice folks there!), some shore snorkeling and shore diving right off of the beach. Restaurant was pretty good most of the time (fish of the day is a waaaaay better bet than the steak, which was NOT very good), but there are better places nearby (Landhuis Misje & Landhuis Daniel for two). Rooms were very nice, we had a garden-view room one night (quite nice) and upgraded to ocean view room for the rest of stay, which was REALLY, REALLY nice. Staff EXTREMELY helpful and most of them multilingual. Note that some rooms are a good stroll (perhaps 100 yds) from the nearest parking area, esp. the garden and pool-view rooms, which was a bit too far for my wife, who has a bad leg; when the resort manager found out she worked QUITE hard to find us a room that involved less walking; they were fully booked our first night so we stayed in the original room, but the next day they moved us to the oceanfront rooms which have nearby parking and a shorter walk to main lodge/beach. That room was not available for the last night of our stay - it looked as if we'd need to move again - but the manager persisted and a cancellation came in and she immediately did some juggling so that we didn't need to move again.

Restaurant, and things in the small store (beer, wine, snacks, sunblock...) were all QUITE expensive; bring your own from outside if possible. Breakfast buffet is OK but pricey; also they don't seem to replenish things that run out more than an hour before the buffet ends (juice and eggs were all gone before 10 one day, other days other stuff). Room came with coffeemaker but you have to buy coffee packets from the store - WTF? Even a Motel 6 provides coffee, you'd think you'd get it in a $400+/night room. Finally, check your bill at the end; someone had charged a couple of things to our room (like $160 for somebody else's dinner, $87 for someone's breakfast...). Better yet, although it's convenient to just "charge it to the room", pay as you go with card or cash mostly and then it's a lot easier to sort out the bill - and notice problems - at the end. The bill was quite difficult to sort out at the end because each "room" purchase had separate lines for amount, service charge, tip, tax and so on.
