Boasting an idyllic coastal setting next to Boca St. Michiel, these spacious bungalows each feature a full kitchen and air-conditioned bedrooms. Most have stairs leading down to the sea from private gardens and barbecue areas. Sun Reef Village on Sea’s traditional bungalows have bright, modern décor and include a radio and CD player in the living area. Beds have mosquito nets, and the private bathroom has a hairdryer. Each kitchen has a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a range of kitchenware. Guests can dine together on the large private terrace, or order local dishes at reception throughout the day. Snorkelling equipment can be rented from reception, which can also arrange car rental. Horse-riding, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing trips are available in the immediate area. Hato International Airport is a 10-minute drive from Sun Reef Village. The city centre of Curacao’s capital, Willemstad, is a 15-minute car journey. Grounds are nice - little palm trees, iguanas, birds (even talking parrot). Located right on the water - you can dive from your backyard. Dive shop on premises. Quiet, efficient air conditioner in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi (weak signal, not available in all areas). Safe, convenient parking inside (behind closed gates). Supermarket - 10 min by car. Simple dinner can be brought in your bungalow by local chef. Mosquitos - everywhere. Bedrooms have mosquito nets, but they still manage to get inside. Bungalows are slightly run down. Appliances are outdated, ants in the kitchen. No microwave. No tv, radio was broken. Housekeeping - 1-2 times a week. You need to take care of your garbage yourself. Electricity and water charge upon checkout (not included in reservation).

Great view from the house on the sea (for the bungalows with sea view), you can easily access the sea by ladder, ideal for snorkeling (lots of fish along the reefs) and for observing the pelicans dive into the sea to catch fish. A couple of iguanas live in the trees near the bungalows and will come for breakfast in the morning, watch out for your fingers when you feed them! The owner is friendly and will give you lots of advice for your stay. He owns a parrot called Sunny who lives near the reception on a tree, he welcomes you by shouting Hellloooo! The people in this fisher villge are very welcoming and you can easlily come in contact with them by having a beer on the terrasse of the town minimarket. Except in Sun Reef, there are no tourist in this town so the atmosphere is genuine and relaxed! You surely will enjoy your stay and be glad you did not stay in an crowded and overpriced resort as Jan Thiel for example!

Отель имеет свой выход к морю, это очень удобно для всех любителей дайвинга и снорклинга. Есть небольшая тераса с лежаками, На теретории отеля работает дайв-клуб и магазин с подводным снаряжением.

De ruime patio, direct aan en met toegang tot de zee. De inrichting van de bungalow was ronduit slecht. Vooral de badkamers waren beneden peil en ook overigens behoeft de bungalow vernieuwing.
