Free entrance to aquarium is great they have the menu of many restaurants at their lobby Nice local beach and pool very close to the room.
Little bit far, but they transport you for free daily to downtown. Many people from staff will try to sell you a travel program. They don`t accept very well your no as a answer.
The pool and private beach are a big plus. The room was spacey and well maintained. It was also great to have numerous bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Highly recommend this if you are visiting Curacao.
Beds where placed on wheels, making them wiggle when you wiggle.
Friendly staff, clean room, good beds, good location next to the beach.
Great place to enjoy the turquoise water and the dolphins.
One old excavating machine in the hotel facilities was losing hydraulic oil in the water.
1)The maintanance & housekeeping tried to do their utmost to fix the airconditioning, and the murfy bed the view was excellent , 3) the front desk staff were verry helpfull, to try to accomodate us with a groundfloor unit , but unfortunately they were not able to arrange this, as the headquarters Mexico were not very cooperative.
1)when checking in i had my mother which could not walk good, no cooperation was received from the headquarters Mexico to accomodate us in a groundfloor Unit, they wouldn't give their ok to the friendly Frontdesk lady who did her utmost to explain to them the situation, even though there was availability in a ground unit. 2) the airconditioning in the master bedroom was not working properly, 3)the murphy bed screws were not properly attached.
Some rooms have spectecular views partly towards the dolphin shows
The location, the staff, the restaurant. All were superb!
The fact that we were there for only three nights :((((
My husband and I loved the resort. We kayaked, snorkeled and I was able to do yoga every day on the patio or by the ocean. It wS perfect.
The menu could have been better at Agustos. We only ate there our first night of arrival
I liked the fact that I could see the sea and swimming dolphins from our terrace. The location was also very beautiful with plenty of buses ready to take us to downtown.
I didn't like the fact that condensation would build up if the air conditioning was turned off leading to very very wet floors. This in result would leave us with a very cold room even with the AC set to its lowest.
Location , free entry to aquarium , not crowded
Cleaning was not on daily basis
Wonderful location and ambience
Staff was nice but not very efficient - very slow service at breakfast, and conflicting and/or inaccurate answers to questions from desk staff
Very nice rooms which are modern and spacious. Nice surroundings with relaxed athmosphere, suitable for couples and families. Helpful and excellent staff.
It's a timeshare resort, which says it all. They do not even provide you with coffee / tea and a kettle, while the coffee machine at the 'front desk' (there is no lobby) is chargeable. I am normally quite positive in my feedbacks, but there is really nothing good to say about this resort. I won't be back
Location. Unlimited access to the Sea Aquarium. Private island. Small facility. Private beach. First 6 days in A101 only 10 metres from the ocean.
Staff not responsive. Reported no hot water in room, never attended to. Received a knock on door at 9:30am Saturday morning (after being there for 6 days) to say we had to move villas within a few hours - no prior notice. It caused major problems. Received a promise that the Manager would come to talk to us. She never came. It was clear to us that if everything runs smoothly, then the resort is ideal. As soon as there is a problem, there is not going to be a high level of service, and possibly no solution at all (as per our experience).
Small resort private and quiet. Staff was excellent ; room was great
More sand on beach would have been nice
Location, nice, not crowded, peaceful and quiet private beach, close to sea aquarium
First of all this is not hotel, this is time share resort and there was no info about it in booking.com. So there was no soap or coffee in room (you have to buy everything by yourself). Staff generally was friendly but on first day of my stay I was staying on a beach and one of the employee aproached me and asked me if I'm a guest. I replied that I'm hotel guest and employee said something like: "oh yeah?? If you are then what is your room no?" - It sounded like an accusation and I felt really unconfortable in this situation also I think such behaviour was really rude for 5* facility. Noone informed us that there is free shuttle services to town. Room service was very limited - one day they didn't show up at al.. Even though it was an amazing place but definatelly not 5 * resort
Location was great-forget he rest
-old nee renovation -no service at all -nog cleaning sta ff two days -check in andere check out nog ik -no breakfast, restorant nog good -swimming pool nog cleaned
peaceful and beautiful, no loud music or children running around, great to have the aquarium next door and hear the sea lions here and there. Restaurant is relatively cheap and good
Limited services on the weekend (e.g. restaurant opened at 9am, they wouldn't charge to your room on the w/e), limited shuttle services to town, no shuttle service to the airport
My room had a view out to the pool and sea. That was very nice. And the receptionists were very very kind and helpful. In one word it was amazing.
We didn't like the ham and cheese burgers. We purchased 2 times and they were burned both times. We were with a group of nine and some of us decided not to eat.
I loved the Romantic Pool & Jacuzzi. I love the location. I love the room
The bathroom tub draining plug was not working accordingly even after having a staff member checking it out. This caused that we were un able to fill the tub up without having the water still seep out.
We loved this property! The location is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Free passes to the Sea Aquarium. The onsite Italian restaurant, Augusto's, has fantastic dinner food! It was the best restaurant that we ate at during our week in Curacao. Not super excited about their breakfast or lunch, but dinner items were fab. Best Calamari I've ever had!
Be sure to ask for an Ocean Front room. I didn't know to do this and we ended up in an Ocean View room that had a palm tree in front of it. No view :/ FYI...we were in room 208b.
. Free entry to the aquarium . Next to the beach
. Incompetent personel . Lack of service . Expensive for what you get from them . THIS IS A TIME SHARE RESORT, not an hotel (so no soap, no bar, low service quality...)
