the view is amazing, the hotel is very stylish, SPA is very good

Quiet and great location and fantastic view from all rooms. Good value for money. The furniture was tasteful and very comfortable. Clean and overall a great place.

Some minor complaints only. We wanted to have dinner and were told that no food was available. Asking if someone could make a sandwich or anything really, we were told no...customers should be informed of this or staff should be more flexible. The jacuzzi on the roof is too noisy for comfort and will also disturb neighbours.

The facilities provided within the apartment were beyond expectation (e.g. Hot tab, Sauna). Furthermore, the price was very reasonable and value for money.

The service at the restaurant, particularly for dinner, was quite slow and obviously needs enhancement of resources. Notwithstanding the above, the existing people were extremely helpful.

Reception staff was helpfull and friendly

Manager was awful, there is no indoor heated pool, the hot tubs on the roof of the so called penthouse suits are boxed in with no view. The rooms are extremly cols out of season and the dinner choices are between 2 starters 2 main and no choice for desert the meals were bland to say the least.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful - they were the ones who made the difference :) One bedroom apartment we booked was huge with a hot tub on the roof. Unfortunately, we were not able to heat it up properly, but it was in January after all. The food in the restaurant was very nice, the coffee - very tasty. The views of Pafos and the seashore located below were lovely! All in all, would highly recommend and coming back for sure :)

The hotel is about 25 km from the beach, so if you are looking for a hotel with an easy access to the beach, this is definitely not a place to go.

Accomodation was excellent - good small details - flower arrangements, furniture good quality, dvd player and widescreen tv. Fantastic views. Quiet. Waiter service breakfast - proper orange juice. Good indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym. Facial - great experience. Very friendly staff.

Nothing major - perhaps some more lighting on the stairs at the back of the accomodation - it was quite difficult to see at night.

The luxury, the staff, the food, the fresh air, the hot tub on the rooftop and the beautiful countryside panorama.

I was looking for peace and quiet and a restful break in a lovely surrounding and that's what I got. As a sufferer of arthritis a heated indoor pool was highest on my list.Even though the heating of the pool was not on when I arrived -very warm weather- it was turned on as soon as I requested it. The team at Akamas work together to give their guests what they want when they want it, no request is too much for them. A wonderful atmosphere at Akamas,a very positive and friendly place , either as a couple, a family or on your own you will be made welcome

There was mothing to dislike. Akamas was only opened last yrear and, as they said, threy have learned a lot along the way. like all developing businesses there are minor tweaks to be made, but management are aware of them and are working towards making my nest visit even more wonderful!

Room, hospitality, view

The view is great and location good. Staff is very nice and breakfast delicious.

An other completly new tourist resort located in the mountain... Don't expect anything typical from Cyprus, this hotel could have been located in Spain, Greece or any other touristic area. It s a place for family or old retired people, the hotel is not very lively, don't go alone if you expect to meet people during a trip

The first thing we did not like about our room was that the configuration of the furniture was all wrong; settees, tables and chairs not in logical places. So we moved it around. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang toilet bags or towels. There was 1 ring on the wall to hang 4 towels. There were no bathroom cabinets, no shelves nor even sink surround to put toiletries and such like on. There was also no 'washing line' or clothes horse type thing to hang damp clothes on. In a resort / spa hotel (near the seaside) there should be places to hang damp/wet clothes; not on the railings or back of chairs on the balcony! There was also no hairdrier though there was a brand new cooker/oven, a microwave(?), washing machine, ironing board and an iron, still in it's box. A major complaint of my wife was the lack of decent blinds or curtains and the fact there was no door between the lounge/kitchen and bedroom. This meant daylight flooding in to the bedroom at a very early hour; not something you really want on holiday. Furthermore, between arriving on Wednesday afternoon and 10am Saturday morning we never had any housekeeping, not even to empty the toilet bin and provide fresh towels never mind making the bed. On this point I went to ask Reception and after consulting her computer I was informed the housekeeping was scheduled for that day. By 4pm nothing had happened so I returned to reception, by this time quite annoyed but not nasty and another young lady informed me that they would be coming today. But really, who wants maids coming round at 4 to 6 pm when one would hope to have a nap, a quiet drink or shower and change? However, at 4:40pm, 2 surly Romanian girls appeared, took the rubbish and bath mat, mopped the apartment and left 2 clean towels. Why they didn't take the other used towels still beats me! I still believe if I had not complained a second time no one would have come at all.

The location is perfect cos its in a quiet area in the mountains between Paphos and Polis; both places are close. The design of the hotel is very nice and the facilities are more than good.

Nice and spacious room including a private Jacuzzi. Nice pool, friendly staff since you check in til you check out.

Fantastisk lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt. Härlig pool. Ok gym. Mycket lugn och skön atmosfär. Många och prisvärda spa-behandlingar.

Halvdant utrustat gym. Lite omständligt med att nyckel skulle hämtas i receptionen.

Отопление только кондиционером, а т.к. помещение большое, то ждать пока станет неходлодно достаточно долго, т.е. зимой я бы не советовала ехать. Были вдвоем с 3мя маленькими детьми (до 7 лет), а заплатили за 5 взрослых, хотя дополниельной кравати не предоставили. Думаю, что нелогично.
