DESIGN FRIENDLY AND POLITE STAFF
Loved the junior suite we booked, enormous bed, and giant swiveling TV at the foot of it, very efficient and quiet aircon, wonderful choice at breakfast.
Babies with their nappies on in the pool..yuk!
The design, the Spa,the staff
I lived how staff where always there to help and polite. And made me feel like true guest.
The food at the hotel is very expensive
The spa, and staff was very friendly
Everything was very likeable and staff, breakfast and amenities all very good.
Everything was just perfect! Very comfortable bed, very clean hotel!!!
Building very contemporary and well set up, clean and comfortable beds. Good wifi signal.
Poor service from the staff, starting from reception to the restaurant to the spa.when asked for help the management said we should have read the policies in advance ! Breakfast was also sub standard and no staff around to assist. I expected better customer service and this place would be perfect.
extremely friendly staff trying to respond to all special questions and needs (they searched the internet for me...). Superb wellness area and outdoor pool. Great offer when I asked for late check-out. Only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown. Many bus lines stop around the corner. Would be great if Hotel developed also a strong concept toward becoming a leading "green hotel" (environmental friendyl concept) in food, energy, towl, etc would be great.
to stay only 2 nights.
Everything: The interior design, the garden, the Spa, the service and people working in service, the restaurant
The hotel was wonderful with clean, comfortable rooms, surprisingly well equipped facilities and lovely, friendly staff. The food in particular was delicious, complemented by an impressive selection of wines. And what a treat to enjoy free wi-fi - all you big, global hotel chains, take note!
The location was disappointing, rather a trek from everywhere with uninspiring views. It was tricky to find even with a map and good directions. It's also right next to a Fire Station (those sirens are LOUD) and parking away from the hotel was a little inconvenient.
Everything was just perfect.. staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming... the hotel decoration is very nice.I would highly recommend Alasia hotel to others and surely will stay back when we get back.
This was a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities, fantastic restaurant , and wonderful ambience. We had to leave 3 days early to get home for a unexpected meeting which was a real shame but the hotel manager gave is a free lunch for us and two friends (who weren't staying at the hotel) as compensation which was a lovely touch. We would definitely go back as would the friends we dinned with.
Occasionally had to wait a little while to get the attention of staff. During the weekend the pool area is very croweded with non hotel residents they hog the loungers with towels when we approached the empty loungers we were told by the non residents they had been reserved. This only happened on weekends the rest of the time it was fab by the pool.
Unfortunately we only stayed one night this is a boutique hotel with fantastic facilities. Everything was to an excellent quality; lovely pool area, excellent restaurant and food, superb room, everywhere clean and tidy. Exceptional staff in all areas. Good location once we found where we were situated. Definitely recommend to everyone and hope one day we may have the opportunity to stay again for longer.
We couldn't locate the hotel straight away our maps did not show the street name. Obviously not the hotels fault but perhaps a sign with name of hotel and arrow pointing somewhere near the turnoff would be helpful to people like us that don't use a GPS.
room was very nice, i will be back for another stay, good poistion in town
rooms immaculate and well specified
expensive cocktail bar and inexperienced barman
The ambience, especially at night, was what i loved most. secondly the food in the restaurant is superb and i believe not too expensive - definetely value for money. furthermore there is more than enough storage in the rooms - something quite rare.
The service at the restaurant and bar around the pool area was extremely poor. Apart from the 'Heads' all the Staff was completely untrained and quite rude (never apologized), nor did it seem to care at all what the guest thought about the bad service therefore they were completely indifferent in regard to the reputation of the hotel. Pity!
staff was very friendly, clean and new rooms, nice swimming pool area, good value for money
not to close to the seaside, but quite near by car
Noise around the pool, loud and repetitive supermarket music
Everything. The Staff, spa, food, rooms, pool - absolutely the pool.
Nothing - but this is not a beach hotel (for those who complain about location).
Everything. The people who looked after me, and made me feel at home and lelaxed. The excellent food, the spa, the beautiful relaxing colours in the walls and furniture. And many other little things!!!
As soon as we arrived we opened the mini bar and found a half empty bottle of coke...a few minutes later my bf was moving one of the chairs around to make room to walk and found a toe nail on the floor...we went into the bathroom and found pubic hair inside the bathtub..so hopefully that would be self explanatory.
