It was a nice experiance to stay overnight in Alkisti Hotel. Excellent location, small traditional hotel with high services including the kindness of people working for. Well rennovated giving the oportunity to feel the old Cypriot way of living. My best compliments for the people responsible for the idea. |

The hotel was well located and quite comfortable. Excellent value for money and offered everything you need for a short overnight stay. The room was clean and although quite small very suitable for our purpose which was overnight prior to catching a flight. well located to the airport only 10 minutes drive with easy access. Nice to have coffee making necessities in the room for a change and free bottled water provided. A little noisy during the night due to traffic noise. Bathroom is a little bit small. |

Friendly staff, even called me in uk to explain late arrival key availability.Modern, clean room in old refurbished building. Free parking close by.Overlooked small garden - there can be few green areas like this in the old part of Larnaca. Adjacent to beautiful church. Good restaurant immediately opposite. Overall, very good value basic accomodation in good position. No towels in room first night - with no staff on duty. Room not cleaned on first day. Disappointing but did not spoil our overall experience. |

Elena was very helpful and kind to me. The cleaning woman was also very kind. I like small hotels with character. I'm not into fancy hotels. |

The hotel is close to the centre (St Lazaros church) and clean. The room had a panoramic view on a wall at half a meter distance! No staff during the week end. |

The hotel is overlooking a square where Saint Lazarus Church is situated and the view from the hotel balcony was superb with the church floodlit. As we were arriving late in the evening, the hotel sent a email to say where the key could be collected. The hotel was in a central location in Larnaca. It was difficult to find the hotel as there was so much road works in the centre of Larnaca. |

The location was excellent and one of the staff helped us with an internet issue. I can't think of anything else we liked. Plenty. There was no reception as you would expect to find. I had been sent an email to tell me where the key to our room was but as I did not have access to email at the time this was useless. A text message would have made more sense. The Alkisti brochure says that all its rooms have a view over everyday Cypriot life. Our window was half a metre from a brick wall, with no view whatsoever and virtually no daylight. The fittings in the bathroom (towel rail, toilet roll holder) were all missing but they were replaced on our last evening. Poor selection of TV channels for British viewers, esp. when the majority of holidaymakers are British. Housekeeping was very poor. Toilet was cleaned and wastebin emptied (left in the middle of the room). |

If anyone is thinking of staying at the Alkisti city hotel, I would say go for it! I stayed there for one night as a stop over on my way to Paphos. Had a lovely room over looking a courtyard. I ended up getting a bottle of wine from a local shop and sitting in the courtyard reading my book and enjoying a drink. Very nice indeed! |

The room was clean, comfortable and affordable. I was a stones throw from the shopping district and was able to get my wife some nice jewellery as a gift. I spent time by the seafront and also went out in the evening for a lovely cypriot kebab. I found the lady behind the counter very helpful in providing information on the local area, and being able to recommend places to see and things to do. Overall a very pleasant stay and a ni hotel. |

Close to the beach and within sight of major landmark (St Lazarus Church); easy access to shops and tourist services. Breakfast services would be nice, but not essential. |

The hotel was small and friendly, and the staff helpful although we didn't see much of them. Tea / coffee facilities in the room would have been good particularly as there is no food / drink available in the hotel; there is a lovely cafe next door for breakfast though.Ours was a last minute booking and a member of staff called us in the UK to discuss details which made us feel very welcome and 'in touch' before we even arrived in the country. We would definitely stay there again. Just the lack of food / drink facilities. |

the most friendly Elena; the unique feeling to stay in a traditional house and quarter (even if it's loud sometimes ); the very oriental-romantic balcony with the energizing, somehow spiritual view at St. Lazarus by night; the familiar atmosphere. In opposition to other reviews I regarded the shower size as suitable ;o) and last but not least: a lot of tavernas and cafés close to the Alkisti Hotel offer breakfast until 1 p.m.!!! (don't miss the fresh orange juice) |

Given the small size of rooms, it had the basic necessaties, king size / two twin beds, bathroom, fridge, TV and internet. The location was great very close to sea and historical sites. The reception/lobby wasnot much of a lobby. |

The hotel is very well located close to the beach and Saint Lazarus Church, the room was very clean, a/c and wired internet access worked very well in the room. There is not a proper reception in the hotel (only during working hours) and my room was not cleaned (although it was not a problem for me during my short stay there) |

The hotel is in a small nicely renovated building in the old part of the city near the beach but not in the centre of the tourist district. The area around the hotel is extremely noisy with recontruction of roads underway in the district, rerouted traffic half a metre away from the front door and tavernas just across the street playing loud music late into the night. The road is about 5 metres wide and traffic noise reverberates off the walls of the buildings on both sides. Do not go here if you want a peaceful night's rest. |
