Set in a charming 19th-century building in central Larnaca, the Alkisti features an intimate walled-in garden. Its rooms all have free internet and balconies, most with views of the historic St. Lazarus Church. All rooms are conveniently fitted with overhead satellite TV, mosquito net and air conditioning. There is also a minibar and electric kettle for in-room drinks. The windows feature typical blue Cypriot shutters. Guests can enjoy a Greek coffee on the charming garden terrace. The hotel staff can assist guests with car and bicycle rentals or arrange local tours. It also offers laundry and ironing services. Alkisti’s internal courtyard is used for serving a Cypriot-style breakfast and dinner. Alternatively, there are plenty of taverns and cafes on the Larnaca sea promenade, just 100 metres away. Alkisti City Hotel is just 2 minutes’ walk from Phinikoudes Beach. A bus connects the airport to the Finikoudes bus station, only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Nice hotel with a super location next to the main site of the city and really close to the beach. Owners very friendly and service minded. Things were working and there was no hazzle. Own parking next to the hotel. It can be hard to find the hotel but the owners did a great job in explaining where to find it.

Ideal location, delightful character building and room very clean and tidy. Reasonably priced and would have no hesitation in recommending particularly if using a car as the car park next door [free] is so very handy and is what attracted us when booking.

We needed a place to stay en route to our final destination in Cyprus and this seemed perfect but it was a friday night and the noise from the street didn\t stop until 3:00 a.m. The reception left a key for us in a mailbox as we didn\t arrive until 11:p.m.

Steep staircase leeading to the rooms, no lift available. Reception is only manned part time. Room was made up freshly, but bed covers were dirty. Rooms are very small. You have to be a contortionist to use the bathroom.

Cozy accommodation close to St. Lazarus Church, very convenient location but apart from clamor and noise from Palm Tree Street. The stay was comfortable for me with help of friendly staffs. Such a historic and cubby house meets to my preference. I suppose that the description on BOOKING.COM web site "Its rooms all have free internet and balconies overlooking the historic St. Lazarus Church" is not correct. No balcony was equipped on my room and no view of the church could be enjoyed. It's a bit sad that my room was facing to a wall of the next house.

The hotel is small, but it is in such a great location facing into the little square. It only has 8 rooms so you want to try and get one of the rooms in the front of the hotel on the square. It is comfortable and has free wifi which many of the more expensive hotels did not. If you want quiet 24/7, do not come here. If you want to feel part of the area's daily life this is the place to be, where tourists and natives mix. On the Saturday we were there, there ware two weddings, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. Several of the hotel guest gathered on the balcony to watch the locals put on their best. It was a lot of fun. The owner and the staff try very hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Well worth the money!

Awesome location. This hotel is just a block away from the beach sidewalk, across from the beautiful St. Lacero Church, next door to shops, cafes, restaurants--incretiable location. The room was tiny but very clean and confortable with fridge, tea/coffee maker, safe in closet, and fast wifi. If you are coming with have luggage, be prepared to go up the steps--there is no elavator/lift. Also no room service or restaurant in the hotel.

This hotel was amazing for the price, very comfortable, totally clean rooms with a staff that was sooo friendly and helpful. The receptionist/managers were very friendly, and the maids did a great job cleaning each day. The location was great too, right between beautiful St. Lazarus Church and the lovely marina, maybe 5 minutes walk to the Larnaca Castle which has beautiful views, and right in the middle of shopping/lots of restaurant and bar options for food. Would highly recommend!

Newly renovated, excellent location, nice view on the Agios Lazaros Church. The credit card terminal didn't work and the staff insisted that I pay the first day not giving a chance to maybe fix it so I had to use the local ATM which increases costs of course. The cleaning could be better. The beds are very small and narrow.

Situated in the old part of town near St Lazurus church and within easy walking distance of the beach, the hotel is thus ideally located for a short or longer break without the need for a car. The rooms are quite basic but well-maintained by very friendly and accommodating staff. Although there aren't any catering facilities in the hotel, generous discounts are available in a number of local bars.

We found the hotel to be very clean, neat, and comfortable. It was easy to find and easy to get to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. We even found the bus to the airport was pretty close by. We would definitely use this hotel again, but not on the weekends. The only thing we found a problem was the location of the hotel is across a very narrow street from a taverna that plays live, pleasant, but very loud Greek music from about 10pm to 2:30 or 3am on Friday and Saturday nights.

Location,location, location. It is in a beautiful square just 5 minutes walk from super beach, restaurants, bars and shops yet it is quiet. The room was provided with all amenities and the place was smart and modern. Room was very small. This was not helped by putting an enourmous wardrobe in it! Fine for a night or two you might struggle on a longer stay. Finding the place was a bit of a challenge.
