The location is ideal, everything is within walking distance. Excellent value for money, lovely building with character and very cooperative staff. Will definitely return.

Would have loved to see a small traditional breakfast served instead of having it across the street. I would strongly urge the staff to consider this suggestion.

The location is good, I felt comfortable walking alone. Internet access is good.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and I probably only slept 2 hours because of the noise outside. There is no escaping it.

Located just 5 minutes walk to the water front and right beside the St Lazaros church. Breakfast is actually served in the cafe across the road, which has a very good choice.

The room was a little small, and the fridge quite noisy.

Small - only 8 rooms above a management office but clean and with a beautiful view of the Lazarus church in the square. The Taverna next door on the roof also does excellent food

You have to like your hotels non-invasive. Picked up the key myself on arrival and saw 'reception' only once. They clean daily but there is no breakfast (cafe across the road is lovely) and its really more like renting an apartment type experience

Great location, right across from St Lazarus Church. Rooms very nice, with a sweet little balcony at the end of the hall.

The staff isn't usually at the hotel late at night or early morning. They gave us an outside door key, so there was no problem, but there's a slight risk of locking yourself out.

The fridge in the romm was too noisy. The rooms are not soundproof, unfortunately you can hear your next-door neighbours.

The hotel is very charming as for the area just next by the Saint Lazarious. Really well located. The owner is really friendly and the rooms are very clean. I recommend it!

Hotel is comfortably situated close to the sea and close to shops, restaurants, pubs and other sight seeing places. Good parking near hotel. Room is clean and large.

Problem with hot water in the shower. No breakfast offered at least Continental even though there is room for a breakfast area.

The hotel has a stylish old design. It is a charmingly small and cozy place for visitors. The place looked very nice and clean. Has relatively cheap deals.

I got bed bugs bites and on the night I came (9:15 pm), there were no reception staff. I was not given any hint that there might be someone to contact in emergency cases such as bed bugs. My key was left in an outside box and I had to open the hotel's entrance door myself since I was told by the manager that the staff would be unavailable that night. The next day when I emailed the manager about the problem she told me I could have found a number to contact in the catalog because there is always someone there. That was quite a contradictory reply. However she thanked me and apologized and that was it.

Very charming small hotel tastefully created in an old building in central Larnaca, ideal to walk to the sea front, bars, restaurants from. Good close free parking. Charming, friendly staff (there was a brief moment when I might have changed that comment on being woken and asked if I would mind changing rooms to make way for an unexpected couple who wanted a double bed, but eventually a solution was found without my having to move). Unprententious, and that's not a euphemism for lacking essential facilities - lovely old interior courtyard sensitively maintained, so you have a sense of the character of the building.

No lift! but I can see it would be hard to find a place to put one - no problem walking up stairs, but not so jolly with heavy bags.

Convienient, close to shopping and sea

Pretty basic hotel, don't expect anything but the basics, but its fine for a short stay.

It is ideal for business travelers and solo travelers, it is in the city center, next to Saint Lazarous (historical church), near to beach/seaside and also near to shops and restaurants. It is just about 10 minutes from the airport.

All rooms are very small sized. No cafteria, or lounge in the hotel.

"Boutique" hotel - small (only 8 rooms). Courtyard garden. Great location. Lovely view from small communal balcony. Fairly easy to find.

No hot water in shower. Courtyard garden in need of some attention (mow the grass for example!) Update curtains and bed covers - get modern to match (current ones look as it they are left-overs from the 70's) - and the patterns and colours "fight" each other.

Our stay at the Alkisti City Hotel (or any other hotel in Larnaca for that matter) was purely for the convenience of avoiding a late-night drive to Limassol, our intended destination. Even so, our room was very comfortable, with a very charming balcony view of the plaza at Agios Lazarus. Olivia was a particularly charming and delightful host who communicated with us on a number of occasions prior to our arrival.

I find significant discrepancies between the visual and textual descriptors of the hotel,which could be quite disconcerting to less seasoned travelors. The photo of the reception area, while accurate, in fact shows a joint space with the estate agent. Reception is not always open, especially in the mid-day. We arrived having been informed that there was no reception that day, and that our keys could be found in a designated space. Although we were well-informed of this fact, my wife was particularly nervous at the idea of groping for keys in the dark in a size street of an unfamiliar city. We feel that reception should be available at all arrival times. This is the only hotel where we encountered this. The hotel description speaks of Greek coffee and breakfast being served in the courtyard. Neither of these were on offer for us. Instead, we were directed to a number of coffee shops in the immediate vicinity. While the breakfasts were fine (leaning heavily to a full English) it wasn't breakfast in the courtyard. I would suggest to other future guests that you check these matters.

Perfect location right in the city center. Decent, traditional house. Very friendly service, helped us with our rental car to be brought right to the hotel. Really good value for money

Excellent location right in the heart of Larnaca with a beautiful church right outside. Very friendly atmosphere, nice clean traditional cypriot rooms but had all the essentials like air con,fridge, tea/coffee facilities. No restaurant or bar but excellent balcony to sit on where you could have a take away bottle of wine etc. Manager gave us directions to a market for wine and supplied us with glasses and bottle opener. With so much restaurants cafes around we ended up enjoying a drink on the beach front it is lovely. There is a beautiful roof top restaurant next door to the hotel. We absolutely loved it and will be using it for weekends in Larnaca as well as all our overnight stays for early morning flights at Larnaca airport as it is just 10 minutes away..
