could improove quality and size of bed, however ratio quality / price is very good

April 2012. We were travelling 10 days in Northern and Southern Cyprus. The small Alkisti in Larnaca was by far the best hotel on the island. Very clean. Outstanding beds. In the sparkling bathroom everything was working. A water-kettle and generous number coffee and teabags were waiting to get prepaired. The owner was very helpful and gave us a second set of keys to be independent of each other. Although in the city-centre it was quiet and safe. All in all highly recommended. Thomas & dieter

Only the location.

This hotel does not have a typical reception. The reception is a real estate office that operates occasionally as reception. In other words, this accomodation is simple rooms to let without reception. The other problem is that is not quite clear.

I know this hotel, it is very convinient, close to the center, beach, shopping. People in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Perfect internet access, fridge in the room.

During summer season the streets are a little bit noisy, due to nearby restaurants.

1.Very kind and helpful staff 2.Perfect LOCATION with a nice view of Lazarus church from the balcony and close to the beach 3. No SECURITY problems 4.Good AIR CONDITIONING facility 5.Room and bathroom were CLEANED well each day 6. The RESTAURANT ("Baileys" which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel) which the hotel gives you discount cards for breakfast ( 3 euros) and lunch( 30% discount), offers good food and a very good variety of Beers (maybe the best beers you can find in Larnaca) 7. if you make any FRIENDS during your stay, they are allowed to come to your room for a drink or so. OVERALL WORTH THE 175 EUROS I PAYED FOR A 5 NIGHT STAY AND I WILL SURELY STAY THERE AGAIN FOR THE SAME PRICE.

The bathroom is small and the water warming system would was either very hot or very cold but this is negligible considering all the positive points for the Hotel.

It is very close to the town center. You can find it easy even if you visit there first time. Hotel staffs are so kind and they will help you all problems. What is the most important merit is that you can find restaurants, souvenir shops and cafe which you want to find nearby Hotel.

Sometimes, Hot shower doesn't come out.

This hotel was amazing for the price, very comfortable, totally clean rooms with a staff that was sooo friendly and helpful. The receptionist/managers were very friendly, and the maids did a great job cleaning each day. The location was great too, right between beautiful St. Lazarus Church and the lovely marina, maybe 5 minutes walk to the Larnaca Castle which has beautiful views, and right in the middle of shopping/lots of restaurant and bar options for food. Would highly recommend!

Nice hotel with a super location next to the main site of the city and really close to the beach. Owners very friendly and service minded. Things were working and there was no hazzle. Own parking next to the hotel.

It can be hard to find the hotel but the owners did a great job in explaining where to find it.

Situated in the old part of town near St Lazurus church and within easy walking distance of the beach, the hotel is thus ideally located for a short or longer break without the need for a car. The rooms are quite basic but well-maintained by very friendly and accommodating staff. Although there aren't any catering facilities in the hotel, generous discounts are available in a number of local bars.

Cozy accommodation close to St. Lazarus Church, very convenient location but apart from clamor and noise from Palm Tree Street. The stay was comfortable for me with help of friendly staffs. Such a historic and cubby house meets to my preference.

I suppose that the description on BOOKING.COM web site "Its rooms all have free internet and balconies overlooking the historic St. Lazarus Church" is not correct. No balcony was equipped on my room and no view of the church could be enjoyed. It's a bit sad that my room was facing to a wall of the next house.

Location for our business requirements. Staff friendly and very helpful. Would not recommend for holiday stay.

Just as well pre-packed hotel slippers were provided as the bathroom tiled flloor was very grubby.

Very good location. Good price/value ratio.

The hotel is small, but it is in such a great location facing into the little square. It only has 8 rooms so you want to try and get one of the rooms in the front of the hotel on the square. It is comfortable and has free wifi which many of the more expensive hotels did not. If you want quiet 24/7, do not come here. If you want to feel part of the area's daily life this is the place to be, where tourists and natives mix. On the Saturday we were there, there ware two weddings, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. Several of the hotel guest gathered on the balcony to watch the locals put on their best. It was a lot of fun. The owner and the staff try very hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Well worth the money!
