The hotel is probably one of the best in Cyprus let alone Paphos. The room was elegant, romantic and well-equipped we were close to the adult pool which had a full-time waitress who Myia who was extra attentive and always ready to serve us Mojitos and snacks from a healthy but overpriced menu. I would definitely return and it really made our trip one to remember. Slightly overpriced especially for this time of year but nonetheless there was so much to enjoy and we can't wait to go back.

Exceptionally friendly staff. From front desk to pool waiters. Top The Hotel was very forthcoming and understanding concerning a room cancellation. Food was very good. Pool area is very comfortable perfect for kids - even a soft sunroof over the pool :) Young couples with no children can enjoy a separate infinity pool next to the spa - very nice and quiet.

Rooms are small and they were not very clean on arrival. We booked a Superior family room with sea view for two adults and two children, but there´re only small superior rooms with interconnecting doors. Beach is non existing and rough stone. Airport transfer from Larnaca app 1 1/2 hours and aprrox 150.- Euro per way for 5 people.

The seaside restaurant is superb with fresh Greek/Cypriot cuisine and mezze ! Good price/quality all over !!! Location next to the harbour and it's bars & restaurants is excellent and just a 5min stroll away.

The spa is simply bliss. The breakfast was excellent as there was array of healthy to not so healthy choices.

For a 5 star hotel I was surprised at how poor quality the bed linen was. There was no duvet and the pillows were hard polyester fill. I'm currently staying at a 5 star and it doesn't compare to Almyra. Almyra is 4 star quality.

The staff was excellent! Food was so delicious: fried bacon, very tasty mushrooms and tomatoes, fruits, different kinds of tasty danishes))) mmmm))) Great location of the hotel (especially if you go there on spring when the water is too cold to swim), it is right on the seafront. There also were great concerts in the evenings: the singer sang to the accompaniment of the guitar and it was so professional and wonderful! All in all staying there was unforgettable)))

The service of the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious. It is located by the sea and within walking distance from everything.

We received a very friendly welcome and we enjoyed our short stay for a birthday celebration. Its proximity to many good restaurants and the harbour, makes it a handy location. There is safe swimming from the beach area, which in the summer is lovely.

It is rated as a 5*hotel, by I believe the Tourist Association, but the ratings in Cyprus bear very little relationship to ratings in the uk or Europe. Within Cyprus there are a number of '5*' hotels but they are not all of the same standard. The Almyra is a good 3* star hotel, if you are used to European standards. Our room was clean but not 'sparkling' and the furnishings and fittings were rather jaded and in need of repair. There is a spa but this is in a separate building in the grounds so in the winter not very comfortable to pop over for an early swim without being fully dressed.

A very clean, modern hotel. Excellent staff.

Overpriced. Definitely aiming to attract "outsider" tourists rather than people - like myself - who are residents of Cyprus. If I had known how expensive the "extras" were going to cost I would not have booked this Hotel.

The presentation of pricing was misleading in booking.com. There was an indication of 80% discount out of 700 price giving the impression that it was one of the hotel's best rooms. This specific room was never priced 700 euros for that period.

Location is fabulous

Good location of the hotel in relation to the sea and the center of Paphos. Beautiful black-and-white rooms, beautiful hotel grounds. Friendly attitude of the staff.

Did not like the organization of staff to check the mini bar. At the check out of the hotel, double billed for a mini-bar, which we did not use. Because of the 10 euro was a bad feeling.
