Breakfast was nice and had a lot to choose from.

Bath was not properly clean (hair from previous guests found) and water was not hot. Bed was rock hard.

As we stayed out of season we were able to get a cost effective room, not sure we'd have been able to in season. WIFI should be free and obtainable in the room.

Air Condition on room was there but no cold air after calling reception they changed our room as instead of cold air was hot and outside was more cooler. Also even second room was better than first again air condition not good or minimum existing if it was in august no one could sleep in that room!!!!

The hotel was located in walking distance of all amenities will plenty around if you didn't want to walk to far.

The hotel didn't give us the room with the view shown on the booking form. We were put in a side on room with no view all we overlooked were apartments :-(.

Away from the public areas, the hotel feels a little tired and its long dark corridors don't really look 4 star.

The quality of the rooms were poor. We had 2 adjourning rooms. The door between the rooms had a part of the door hanging off and the bottom lock was broken. The cot supplied for the baby had missing mattress supports and those that were there were badly fitted and if the baby had been older and bounced up and down they would have collapsed. The bottom bed sheets were too small for the mattresses for example one was 6 inches too short so the mattress was exposed at the bottom, on the double bed the sheets did not fit the width. No mattress covers were on the beds. The shower in one room had a split rubber fitting and when the shower was turned on a jet of water was spurted across the entire bathroom. If you wanted to access the fridge you had to pay an extra charge unless you had a baby in which case it was free. The tv constantly lost the signal so was unusable. Basically this was a hotel which looked great in the foyer, but the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The breakfast was poor quality, and no worth paying for. When the defects were pointed out there was no apology merely a "we'll let someone know". I doubt our comments were passed on. On making the booking I specified a cot for one room. To be certain we called on the morning to ensure the hotel had supplied the cot as requested. The hotel advised that booking.com had not forwarded our request so if we had not phoned we would have arrived to find no cot for the baby.

Nice lobby, excellent staff.

We did not like the fact that wifi was difficult to use or not available. While we loved the hotel and may recommend it to friends, next time we will look for accommodations with free or easy-to-use wifi.

The amount of cats hanging around the tables, was not hygienic and very off putting, the processed food and breakfast was awful, cold, bland and very disappointing

It is supposed to be a 4 star, however it is not more than a 2 star. Old furniture and linens, horrible bedding, nasty smelling carpet and squicking lifts!

i liked the fact that it was in a great location short distance to the harbour and beach.. also the people were exrtremely friendly including the receptionist the bell boy the manager and the maids .. they would get out of their way to help us if we needed something and above all they were smiley.. the breakfast was great too..

i didnt like the fact that you had to pay for the fridge in order to use it but that is all.

The location

This hotel is supposed to be a four star hotel but nothing describes it as a 4 star.Actually, there are 3 star hotels that are far better than this one!At least you can expect from a 4 star hotel to have ....amenities in the bathroom..such as a body lotion and not just the typical shampoo and shower gel you find in every single 1 star hotel appartment on the island.And a bathroom with no broken tiles on the floor and kind of better looking. The rooms are still '80s decored and the matresses are far from what I would call comfortable! Additionally, if there is a wedding reception going on at the hotel don't expect to have a quiet night and certainly don't expect to get any sleep until after 3 am. In conclusion, nothing describes aloe Hotel as a 4 star hotel...so the money is not worth it...as low as the price will be!
