Clean, nice location, beautiful teritory - pools, palm trees, nicely illuminated teritory during night time. Breakfast buffet is for everyone's taste. Indoor pool is nice place to spend early dark evening in Dec
Wi-Fi cost extra
Soft comfortable seating areas, the outside terrace's, the relaxing spa treatment's.
It's a pity the sections of beach just beyond the garden's were not as well presented, as the garden's themselves.
Great location with easy bus to Paphos. Excellent Italian restaurant in the hotel, Leda, for people like me who can't handle crowded buffet lines every night in the main restaurant. Vas & Angela will serve you a fab fresh cooked dinner :) Travel agents in lobby very helpful & Nadia at front desk. Good AC & WC.
North side of hotel very noisy over hotel delivery area. Staff and drivers noisy at late and early hours outside. Buffet very crowded. Sauna charge is extortionate at 10€...that's about a 1€/min for me! So I didn't go at all :/ Spa reception didn't notify me of massage discount when I booked in...I only saw it posted in the hotel afterwards. Wifi in room not reliable (very slow) & no LAN connection as stated in room info book.
A nice 4* hotel. Nothing to complain about. Perhaps it has seen its best days about 10 years ago, but still is very good. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived late, right after dinner and got a voucher for their a la carte restaurant that was still opened. Food meets the standards of similar 4* hotels. I also liked their gym.
Some of the waiters should be a bit more welcoming. I know we are not supposed to be great friends, and I understand that some of them must have a long day ahead, but I still don't see that asking for a cup is an extraordinary request. Anyway most of the staff, including waters, were nice and helpful.
Close to the sea - lovely swimming pools & good choice at breakfast
A distance from Paphos - further than we had anticipated
Athena beach is just about best location in that stretch of beach. Good balance between privacy and a nice distance to walk into paphos
Live music gets boring. Musicians over reliance on backing tracks
THE SUN BATHING FACILITY AND THE GENEROUS SPACE BETWEEN SUN BEDS.ALSO THE STAFF WELCOMING AT BREAKFAST.WE STAYED IN ROOM 198 AND WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE FACILITY.IT WAS OUR 6TH VISIT AND SO WE KNEW WHAT TO EXPECT.ODILE WAS VERY CHARMING ON OUR ARRIVAL AND THE WELCOME DRINK ALWAYS GOES DOWN WELL
MY WIFE AND I CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING.
Location, hotel grounds, cleanliness, customer service
Charge for wifi, restaurant booking system
Excellent staff Good facilities Nice beach with good swimming Very clean rooms Excellent choice for breakfast
Bar food on beach was average
the lication is close to the harbor, breakfast had variety.
needs renovation, beds arent comfortable, very old furniture, using old keys which are heavy to carry. Needs renovation and refurnishing.
Accommodation, location & main staff.
Pool bar lady staff very rude & grumpy especially ones on till.
Everything especially the staff. The restaurant staff were impecible and the bar manager Stavros was brilliant
Nothing to dislike apart from going home
Nice grass area
I have been to many hotels and the money i gave to this hotel is under expectations. Service is slow and dont give much attention. Rooms very old fashion. Doors should open automatically and not have to push and pull to enter as it was difficult with the baby and the stroller. No shade at the pool for children and also for parents.
Location was excellent, near the Harbor where there are a lot of restaurants and shops. Our room was nice, located on ground floor so easy access to outside ! Overall we liked our stay but we are not sure we would go back to this hotel.
Beach at the hotel was rocky, Internet should be free since it hardly works and the cost of stay is quite high. Staff at front desk didn't quite seem to know what they where doing except one blonde girl ( sorry we forgot your name).
We liked everything about our stay We like the fact it caters for gluten free.
I feel the wifi should of been free. Gym could of had some hand weights and a bit more equipment.
Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, lovely food. The pool and pool bars were very good. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned every day. The air con was quiet and welcomed in the hot weather. There were plenty of sunbeds which went right down to the sea. The hotel was in a excellent position for walking into Paphos centre. The bard were great with some good entertainment.
It said in the advert for the hotel that there was free Wifi, but it cost us 21euros for a week. I had a nasty fall on a green carpet, near the pool, which we reported, but nothing was done about it. We booked a hight floor sea view room, but ended up in a garden room, which was no good as we both have hay fever, but were then put in a 3rd floor side sea view overlooking a bowling green!
Seafront location with spacious and attractive gardens and pool area. Close proximity to a variety of restaurants and shops.
Upom arrival I was met by Russian spaeking manager and glass of champagne:)
Not perfect sea view from the second floor.ask for upper levels
Staff were attentive and very polite. Reception were very accommodating when we decided to cut our stay short because of the weather. A special mention for Manager Odile. Comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom/wet room, jacuzzi bath etc. Regular replacement of towels and change of bed linen. Easy access to sea from our room. Safe coastal walk to Paphos Harbour. Easy access to adjacent sister hotels.
Probably not a good time to book a junior suite with a private infinity pool. Too cold this time of the year. Management need to check the deck furniture in these suites as ageing and starting to fail. None of the other junior suites were occupied. Advice from Hotel would have been useful. Hotel attempted to bully us into paying in advance for the 10 nights then suddenly changed their minds. Not good when you are paying full price. Actually only stayed 7 nights, so good call.
room we had was big enough and well equipped, nice sea view, friendly staff, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel
Beach side location. Very friendly staff.Great selection at breakfast buffet, but cooked items disappointing.
On arrival, no heating or hot water in room. Fixed that night, but heating broke again after 10 mins. Never got fixed, so stuck with cold room for 4 nights until finally moved. No other rooms available, we were told. However, superior rooms and suites were available online, so upgrade was not an option, without paying more. Very poor that they allow guests to suffer discomfort and holiday ruined rather than give away a bit of money. Got a half bottle of wine and fruit bowl as compensation for 4 uncomfortable days. Outside bar and snack bar not open during our stay. Renovation work still going on. Nearby restaurants and shops still closed for winter.
Just about everything. This was our 3rd visit and would not hesitate to return.
Avoid side sea view rooms if possible.
The Hotel in general is very good, has an excellent atmosphere and always clean.
Could see all the pipework for the hotel inside the top of the wardrobe. felt that either dust or insects could therefore come in contact with clothes.
Nice, big territory of hotel. Bus stops very near to hotel and good transportation system in Paphos.
Very expensive WiFi - 7 Eur for 2 hours, or 12 Eur for 4 hours. You can hear even every water flush in neighborhood.
Nice hotel although a bit old inside. The big plus is that this hotel is one of the only ones to have a beach and comfortable access to the sea. Lots of place for sunbeds which is not the case for the other hotels (I've done a lot of jogging so I have seen them all). If sea and beach is important for you then this hotel is the right one to choose. If all you need a swimming pool, then you can go for a cheaper one. Breakfast was good and the harbor is at 30min walk. The SPA was good and prices ok.
The price was a bit high compared to the hotels next by. The fitness should be take care of as it was old and dirty.
