Das Frühstücksbuffet, die Poolbar, die Lage

Für Dinge, die normalerweise in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel als selbstverständlich behandelt werden, wie z.B. Safe, kein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, abgeschottet mit Blick auf den Park- und Tennisplatz, musste extra bezahlt werden.

The hotel staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was well placed for us as we had several friends staying nearby so could see them easily. Good parking facilities. The breakfast menu was very varied and also the evening menu changed every night so we preferred to eat in the hotel.

On the minus side the pool became very crowded during the day and impossible to find a sunbed unless one got up at 6am to put a towel on it!! During our six day stay I only managed to get on line once, the morning we were leaving, although there was supposed to be free access in the lounge area. There were several cats and kittens in the breakfast area which were amusing to watch but not when they kept jumping on empty tables and getting food off the plates. They were also walking on the unused tables amongst the clean cutlery which is not very hygenic.

Friendliness

The reception staff and Bar staff were excellent. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The Evening entertainment was very good one night. A singer and a guitarist. Dreadful the next night. A woman that sounded like a cat being strangled.

The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The food was not very good. I can't believe that a sachet of coffee , sugar and milk each were only supplied for the first night. At 480 + Euros for 3 nights that seemed a bit mean. Bar prices were about average for a hotel of this type. There was no room at the pool for 2 of the days in the afternoons. The breakfast could have been better. Who ever heard of sausage, egg, bacon, beans and carrots? We would stay there again. Not at the price we paid though. There are better, cheaper hotels in Paphos.

The room was very comfortable and I love the tv because there was also a usb and we could watch our favourte shows

Pool and garden...

We stayed last year as well in Avatni Hotel. It was my 4 years old daughter who insisted we go again this year, because of the disco night they have every night for the kids.

The food was good.

No internet in the lobby. No aircondition in puplic areas except in one restaurant. Most of the stuff didn't speak english or greek and the rest very poor. No greek channels on tv. Overall didn't worth the money that I payed and I have a question. Who rated this hotel as a 4 star hotel. Hardly 3 on my list

Avanti hotel is convinently located to the best places in Kato Paphos and my family had a great time during our stay in Paphos.It was a good place to stay and was reachable to the beach,harbour and other shopping areas.

The hotel was room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the pool, which I would recommend. The dining room was very good, as was the breakfast room, and the food was more than adequate in both. The staff were polite and attentive, although it was a bit annoying that when going to get the next part of your meal, ( It was a buffet style ) you would come back to find that your table had been completely cleared, even one night our half finished glasses of wine. The four young people who did the entertainment in the evenings were excellent. This was also a pleasant surprise in that entertainment was provided each night for the very young and also for the older people.

As mentioned above , the clearing of the tables before you had finished your meal. The mattresses we found very hard but not all that uncomfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. A nice holiday for the family with activities for all. Good food.

Very busy pool; too many people for the size of pool.

Clean, well organised hotel. It was fully booked during our stay and still functioning very well. Rooms were soundproof. Plenty of parking space. Staff were very friendly and will definitely come back!
