The Cactus was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Very well priced and close to town. The breakfast was good and from all respects I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will book this hotel again. Pleasantly surprised for a 2 star hotel. |

It was very close to Larnaca Airport. The web site gave very good driving directions from the hotel. It was surprizingly close to some good beach front amenities. The bed was very tiny and the walls were paper thin. I could hear every breath my neighbor made. Bathroom facilities were marginal at best. |

The price was low, 23e/night. Reception was ok. The wireless didn't really work except for 10 minutes. The internet machines in the lobby were pretty hopeless. With the price you can't expect much, but everything functioned well. Everything is old an worn, but works. |

I found the staff very helpful, with all the facillties available. The location was also excellent, also to the main city centre, it's only a walking distance. And off course the beach. I am thinking booking in this hotel again the next time I will be in '' Cyprus''. Very good remarks. |

The swimming pool only. Yes a lot. The receptionist was very unfriendly and unhelpful but the managers were nice. The bathroom was too small and the shower was positively dangerous. Towels were only changed every 3 days and they would not give extra. Ac didnt work well nor did the hairdryer. There was no gym/fitness suite as advertised on the web site. |

I stayed for just one night. I flew in at 9 pm and I was gone by 8 am the next morning. It was convenient and close to the airport. It was a nice neighporhood and I felt like I went back in time to Zorba the Greek! When the furniture is damaged, it should be repaired to look like new not left with burn scars and bubbled veneers. I tried to open the curtain and it came off its hooks at the one end. Two or three hooks broke and I could not close the curtain again. No big deal and it is unfortunate that it happened but I could not see an easy way to open the curtain without just trying to push them aside |

The Hotel is basic and the staff helpful and all spoke good English. Useful location, 5 minute walk to the local fish restaurants, and beach. The Hotel has a smallish swimming pool (no complaints) lovely for a quick dip & sun-bathing. For a short inexpensive stay, I recommend the Cactus, you won't get the frills of a large Hotel, but who cares, when even breakfast was adequate. Bring your own shampoo and liquid soap, or buy in the local minimarket. There wasn't a minibar in the room which is a must in all hot locations - I suggest that the Hotel up their price to provide a minibar or at least rent-out minibars to guests that want them. |

They do not have a gym or spa like in the description. The hairdryed did not work. The hot water and shower was not great. Its quite a walk from the center and I picked it only because it said it had a gym which it didnt. Staff didnt really care about all the things that were wrong with the room. Generally the hotel is run down and the other ones in the area for the same price looked much nicer. |
