Paralimni, is a great location if you don't like the bustle of Ayia Napa. Fairly quiet, but lots of excellent bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. They seem to be upgrading Kapparis, its looking quite good. A few of the "ex pat" bars are gone or been taken over by locals. These I have to say are a vast improvement. As a side note, I booked using booking.com, but was directed to "Stay". I was in contact with them a few times whilst there, I think they are based in Nicosia, they were excellent, easily contactable.RayUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0
People in Paralimni are very nice but it is the least...
People in Paralimni are very nice but it is the least pedestrian-friendly city I have ever visited. NOBODY walks in Paralimni. NOBODY. The streets are designed to deter anyone from walking too: there are no tree-lined streets to provide shade from the sun, no benches and, worst of all, no commitment to PAVEMENTS. If you're not a driver in Paralimni, don't stay there longer than a week. Other than that, the food is amazing and the drinks in cafés are the best I've ever had.Dragon - 10Scored 10

its the place if you want to hang out in ayia napa at nights or beaches but back to sleep at quieter area, plus close to other cities and beaches like protaras and 3 fig tree beach even to big super markets and on highway to laranaca.

Close to the facilities of Ayia Nappa and Protaras, but much more peaceful. It has 3 beaches and lots of great restaurants. Enough for a couple with a baby to see and do without needing to go elsewhere, but if you want to, It’s a 10 min drive to Nappa and Protaras.

Nice cosy 1 bedroom apartment. Spacious enough, with nice kitchenette, with stove, oven, microwave and spacious fridge. Very clean apartment. Had 2 sofas which turned into beds in the living room, and 2 connected single beds in the bedroom. It is located in a residential area, and definitely need a car to go to the beach, which if you have a car everything is quite near. The complex has no swimming pool onsite, but who needs a swimming pool as the brilliant beaches are just around the corner!

I recommend Paralimni. It’s a very nice area. There are very nice sandy beaches and lovely restaurants serving local food. The only thing I do not recommend in Paralimni is BLUE ELECTRA COMPLEX. They destroy our holidays, as there was no water in the apartment. We couldn’t use the bathroom and the toilet.

Requests were responded to immediately. The villa requires cosmetic repairs, but this is not essential for a beach holiday. The sea is a 3-minute walk away. A small calm bay with turquoise water. Quiet street with villas, no traffic. There are many restaurants nearby (I especially liked the Italian and fish tavern). Also very good supermarkets ( Best Valeu and Metro ) A place for a relaxing and safety holiday.

Bus stops on the main road (but need a bit of looking for) but will take you to Ayia Napa, Protaras etc and approx 1.50 per person each way. Great communication from the owner with many tips of places to eat etc, and always available for any questions, the best owner we have ever had! If you want to enjoy Cyprus and have full privacy and private pool, don't hasitate to book Villa Luca. Thanks to Kate and Christopher for their kindness even if we haven't even met!
