Columbia Beach Resort  

Flott og lunt strand/badeområde 1 minutt fra hotellet, I tillegg til det fantastiske svømmebassenget. Hotellet har fine turmuligheter I nærliggende områder, og ligger I rolige omgivelser...og for ikke å glemme den innholdsrike og herlige frokosten. Mange små og gode restauranter I området rundt hotellet er fint når en skal være på hotellet I en lengre periode for å få variasjon I "menyen"

For mye Due-skitt over alt. Spesielt var det uhygienisk at det var due- rede over frokost serveringen som medførte mye skitt, som drysset ned over deler av frokostbordene. I tillegg burde det har vært gitt info. Om at det skulle begynne jakt I fjellområdet ved hotellet søndag morgen. Ikke hyggelig å bli vekket av kraftig skyting utenfor stuevinduet kl. 0600 om morgenen. Kunne også med fordel ha vært flere solsenger på stranden. "Kampen" om morgene for å sikre seg seng, var noe slitsom.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and both our birthdays during our stay. We thought that the champagne, flowers and cake on arrival were very thoughtful indeed and we were delighted at the end of our stay to receive a lovely birthday cake. We both thank you for those gifts. Our room (upgraded) was extremely comfortable and the soaps and shampoos in the bathroom were of good quality. The room was always kept very clean and the towels changed daily. We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at your htel and would like to visit again.

The lunch menu was not imaginitive enough and quite expensive. The drinks in the bars were also expensive as were the wines. With so much local wine production, cheaper local wine sold by the caraffe would have been a good option for lunch. It was very noticable that your restaurants at dinner time were not being used by many of the guests and that restaurants such as Limanaki were full every evening and one had to book in advance in order to be sure of a table. I know that the overheads for hotels are different to restaurants but profit is always margin times turnover.

The beach area was not good = no sand.

Getting the small things right is important, and at Columbia they do. Tea & coffee in room - yes, free WiFi throughout - yes, friendly & helpful staff - yes. This has to be one of the best resorts on Cyprus. Very peaceful and relaxing with a great pool and very comfortable rooms. It is away from all the other tourist spots so you'll need a car if you want to get around, and the eating options aren't great in the local village. However, the hotel restaurant is good with excellent service. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was as stress-free as possible. Highly recommended for a peaceful break.

TVs need to be upgraded - they no longer match the quality of the rest of the resort.

The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious. With a 14 month old toddler, it was perfect as it gave her lots of room to walk about without hurting herslef

This was our second stay at the Columbia Beach Resort and although shorter, we had a great time. Upon arrival, we were upgraded into an executive suite and that was really great. A big, comfortable room, all the luxuries needed to enjoy our stay there.

due to the fact that the room was on the ground floor and adjacent to the garden, there were ants and bugs inside the room.

Noise from kids and noise form a wedding

Service and staff were excellent - very accomodating. Excellent facilities maintained well. Hotel had character and felt personal unlike some chain hotels.

There were not enough sunbeds - either on the pool or the beach. Hotel had rule that sunbeds could be reserved after 8.30am. I left our room at 8.35am and there was only a couple of sunbeds left. Also our room was not as nice as I had expected for a hotel of the standard. Certainly did not live up to the photos of the rooms in the hotel brochure. It felt very dark and a bit shabby. Balcony was even worse.

Hotel staff was really nice and helpful and also Resort is great. Cakes in Eros Bar are great

Breakfast choice is too narrow for such resort.I Also complained in reception about cleaning lady wakening me at 7' o clock A.M. Next day she did it again,nocking around in the front of apartment with her broom. Food at Apollo Restaurant really should improve.

Beautiful hotel, the layout and design of the hotels/resort was perfect and the decor in the room was very homely. The main lobby area and health spa is immaculate and you feel a millions miles away from being in Cyprus.

The food in the evening was a big let down. You are only offered a buffet menu. They charge 45euros for this which for a plate os salad and two cuts of meat is terrible. Also the price of alcohol in the main hotel is extorsionate. 30euros for a shot of whisky, when you can buy a bottle of the same brand for cheaper than that down the local shop.
