Columbia Beach Resort  

Отличное место для полного расслабления. Ездили с маленьким ребенком. Конечно, как мне показалось, место это не для детей. Туда приезжают в основном взрослые, больше даже, пожилые пары для того, чтобы потеплиться на солнце и почитать книжку. Разговоров, шума, музыки и тому подобного в отеле нет. Зато есть отменные места для полного релакса. Небольшой СПА с большим бассейном, выходящим на улицу, множество лежаков на зеленой лужайке под пальмами, на пляже, у бассейна. Отличное питание с утра на шведском столе, а также бесподобная кухня в ресторане таверне. Рядом с курортом есть магазины и ресторанчики. В одном из ресторанов отличный повар. Называется ресторан Мандарини, кажется. Закажите Сибаса жаренного - объедение =)

It offers many facilities which are included in the price. No need to pay extra to use sauna or steam bath or jacuzzi. Excellent spa facilities. Rooms are very clean and spacious and the staff is extremely helpful. The food at their main restaurant was tasteful and at reasonable prices.

The staff were excellent - especially the pool side team! Everything about the stay was fantastic - we have no negatives! I would highly recommend the Resort to anyone travelling with a young family who wanted a holiday that is hassle free and welcoming.

I liked best high ceilings,private pool on the terrace,breathtaking view every morning.Also choice of fresh fruits for breakfast was excellent!

The only thing i do not like -the sea.It is deep at once on the beach,so that it is not convenient for children.May be for windsurf it is good,though i didn't see any sails during all my stay,but children had to sit in the pool smelling hard with chlorin.

We were not informed at Book In/ Check In that the Sauna, Steam Room, and Jacuzzi were unavailable for us.

A beautiful location, wonderful facilities, and excellent service. My husband and I were only there one night, but fully enjoyed our stay. We lounged on the beach in the late afternoon with a cocktail - a lovely location on Pissouri Bay. After much hiking throughout Cyprus, I enjoyed the opportunity to sit in the sauna and soak in the jacuzzi. We had a lovely dinner at the Dionysos restaurant, and were pleasantly surprised that the champagne offered prior to the meal was not included in our bill. We enjoyed the complimentary dessert wine provided in the room, and the buffet breakfast was top notch, especially while sitting on the patio in such lovely surroundings. All around a wonderful experience.

Food in hotel's restaurants is very expensive. The hotel is a long 90 minutes drive from Larnaca airport.

Location and spa.

The swimming pool area was too crowded, especially with children. Sun beds' policy should be reviewed as it is not possible that guests can arrogate score of sun beds without using them.

We returned to this hotel for our 5th Wedding Anniversary as we got married there. Columbia Beach Resort still gave us the wonderful memories we had from our wedding day and lives up to its luxury billing. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the atmosphere and surroundings are wonderful.

As an older couple, it was inappropriate and unfair to place us in a room next to a young family. We were woken at 06.00 on the first two mornings by a baby screaming on the balcony next to us. On the third and final morning of our stay the room next door was being cleaned by 08.00, with vacuuming and moving of furniture once again shattering our sleep. This really was unforgivable - in my experience usually housekeeping staff are required to wait until at least 09.00, if not 10.00 to start their cleaning duties. This is NOT a hotel to go to if you are a mature couple requiring rest and relaxation - the hotel, and therefore the pool, was full of children and as stated above there was no possibility to sleep in a morning. Given the rates the hotel charges it was a massive and expensive disappointment - I could not in all fairness recommend this hotel for anyone other than young families.
