Columbia Beachotel  

Overall the hotel was excellent. Staff extremely friendly and willing to help. Courteous service. Room was of a reasonable size, with good view.

Buffet meal for breakfast was acceptable but not otherwise and we tried one of the restaurants in the `resort complex`and would not repeat the experience. We dined elsewhere in pissourri after day 2.

We were upgraded to a Suite with a great view on the sea: that was really unique! Great ambience and spacious room, great food, perfect location. Beach right below the hotel and with free towels, sun beds, umbrellas. Swimming pool looked nice but did not use it. Perfect location to explore surrounding areas and other very nice beaches. Staff was friendly and generally efficient. Free Wi-Fi. Complimentary Commandaria Wine at the arrival.

We had the perception that the room was only fully cleaned once during our 15 days stay: in general we experienced troubles with bugs and ants around the room, mainly due to a first floor room and maybe security doors frequently left open. The resort spa does not reach excel levels someone would expect. Wi-Fi signal sometime very low in the room. Sun beds are limited and sometime guests run in the early morning to get the best ones and not be left without them.

Everything! Columbia is definitely the best hotel in Cyprus and in the best location! Excellent views, excellent rooms, excellent service!

Peaceful location, beautiful view. A very well managed hotel. Although it was fully booked it did not feel crowded at all. Hope to be back sometime.

We loved everything from the look of the place to the comfy bed. The closeness to the beach and the access to the pool. The staff were lovely and were more than happy to help.

More vegetarian options would have been preferred and the price of the drinks were a little high.

Friendly staff and pretty location

Fresh omelettes at breakfast wold be nice. I don't like food which has been kept warm in chafing dishes.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig zum erholen und entspannen;das Meer und der Strand unterm Hotel sind wunderbar- ein wirklich schöner Platz; das Früchstück war sehr gut. Bis auf 2 Kleinigkeiten hat wirklich alles super gepasst.

Das Essen im Hotel könnte besser sein, der Wein im Glas war teilweise sauer; die Bedienungen im Speisesaal ist nicht unbedingt freundlich;

Pas bon marché, indispensable d'avoir une voiture pour visiter (aucun bus jusque l'hotel), trop de turnover à la réception, taxi pour aéroport = 45 €

Rundum gelungen, beim Essen muss man allerdings darauf hinweisen, dass man Zeit hat, da ansonsten 2 Minuten nach der Vorspeise die Hauptspeise kommt. Dies ist aber auch ein allgemeines Problem auf der Insel.

Im Zimmer fehlte ein Bademantel mit Hausschuhen und Handtücher für Sauna/Pool.

La situation de l'hôtel est trés agréable dans une jolie baie avec un seul hôtel et encore peu construite la qualité du petit déjeuner le cadre avec la belle piscine le parking et le wifi dans tout l'établissement gratuit

L'hôtel n'est pas vraiment gay friendly on ne se sent pas bienvenu surtout par le personnel de l'établissement nous n'y avons pris que tres peu de repas puisque aux alentours beaucoup de restaurants plus accueillants servent les touristes il y a deux parties dans ce complexe le Columbia Beach Hotel et le Columbia Resort plus récent et mieux entretenü!!! Le wifi pas toujours de bonne qualité dans les chambres les odeurs dans la salle de bain aprés le passage de la femme de ménage (certainement usage d'une serpière usagée..) C'est un peu la guerre pour avoir un transat bien situé autour de la piscine ce qui moins le cas sur la plage!! Le dernier jour alors que nous étions restés pendant 10 jours dans l'hôtel impossible de pouvoir garder la chambre au delà des 12h traditionnelles!! Le dernier jour pour pouvoir faire imprimer nos cartes d'embarquements la recption de l'hôtel était incapable de le faire il fallait aller au Business Center du resort d'à côté

Situation de cet hôtel dans un environnement magnifique. Calme, luxe, magnifiques piscines, grande propreté et très bonne literie (chb 607). Personnel discret. A conseiller pour le repos, la détente et possibilité de tourisme sur les sites culturels. Pas très bien signalé pour éviter de passer par le village de Pissouri. A recommander.

We loved the location, calm,peacful, beautiful nature, charming and magical, the beach and the ambiance is very friendly... especially at the reception we loved Dimitri and Alexia smile and help...

We loved everything except for the hotel architecture, from outside, it needs renovation A.S.A.P. , it is a pity to not have a better hotel design with this location and nature. At such prices, hotel needs to be better in design especially from outside. Lobby is perfect but outside design needs modification because resort looks much better... Rooms are ok, but the wood is getting old, it might needs few furniture's renovation but in general its fine.

Too quiet - nothing lively to do for a young group of people.

It's an extremely comfortable hotel in a very nice location. Our bedroom, with an excellent balcony was superb. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our evening meal too.

Wunderschön ist der Strand, das Meer und es gibt nette kleine Tavernen im Ort.

Die Zimmer zum Pool, gegen Westen, sind zwar schön, liegen aber über dem Restaurantbereich. Morgens gegen 7 Uhr werden die Tische zum Frühstück gedeckt, D.H. es scheppert und klirrt. Ausschlafen geht nicht. Jeden Abend ist live Musik bis gegen 23Uhr. Paaren mit Kindern nicht zu empfehlen auch denjenigen, die Ruhe wollender brauchen auch nicht zu empfehlen. Danach ist noch Barbetrieb. Die Liegen am Strand und im Garten werden von den Gästen am frühen morgen vor dem Frühstück mit Badetücher belegt.
