Corfu Hotel  

The hotel has a great location with an excellent sea view. Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and rich breakfast buffet. All you can ask for at a really good price.

The owner of the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. Since the hotel was not fully booked, he let me keep my room until the end of the day, the day of my departure. And as I was checking out, he came with a full plate of fresh strawberries for me to have. Good location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Very good value.

It's quite difficult to find the hotel at night; so, make sure you have clear directions or a GPS, otherwise, it could be quite challenging to find it at night.

Corfu hotel is conveniently situated just 5 minutes walk from Blue Flag Melissi beach(by far the best beach in Ayia Napa in my opinion), 2 minutes walk from the nearest supermarket, pharmacy and car renting agency. Despite being just 7 minutes walk away from Ayia Napa central square with all the pubs and clubs, the hotel is situated down a quiet lane, so you can have a good night's sleep as well as a good night out. Generally the hotel has a great locaton with all the amenities within reach. The owner of the hotel is welcoming and helpful. The hotel has very friendly multi-lingual stuff at the reception and in the dining room and bar. The receptionists are great at giving very useful information about the area, sights, working hours of various shops, cafes, petrol stations, ect . Wi-fi is working perfectly in the lobby. The hotel is not newly built, but everything is being maintained in good condition and everything in the room was clean. The towels were changed regularly as was the bed-linen. Great thing about the room is that the outside wall actually has a French door to the balcony with a great sea view. The swimming pool area is very picturesque with tumbling pink and white bouganvilia around. The food in the hotel restaurant was varied and fresh,many traditional Cypriot dishes were on offer which was great if you like to try local cuisine while travelling. One can eat outside on a beautiful terrace under the shade of the intertwined vines - very Mediterranean atmosphere. In general our holiday was just what you expect from a great sun holiday.

Among what we did not like was the "funny" hotel policy about not allowing your own drinks in the dining room even if it is only a little bottle of water for my 7-year old child. I genuinely do not understand why I cannot consume the water I got in the shop and paid for (as opposed to shop-lifted) where I please providing I am not a hazard for the public? It is really ridiculous. My child and myself had actually to go out of the dining room into the lobby so that he could have a drink and then return to the table to finish the food. I think it would not go astray if the hotel is more understanding in this matter. When we paid for half board we were not informed that it does not include any drinks at dinner. You order and pay for drinks separately. From previous experience at Spanish resorts I know that half board includes soft drinks, water, juices, but not alcoholic drinks. That was not the case in Cyprus. Different rules, apparently.

The staff (especially the owner/manager) is very kind and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the beach and the square. We recommend this hotel for couples (and singles) who want to enjoy a quiet beach holiday, while being close enough to Agia Napa's night life

I liked the Corfu Hotel very much because it is very clean and friendly. The rooms are perfectly clean and have everything you need. The stuff is helpful, friendly and experienced. We enjoyed a great buffet and we liked very much its fresh croissants.

The Corfu Hotel is a clean and friendly hotel in a very pleasant location. The staff were very polite and efficient. We found the buffet excelent and we enjoyed a lot of fresh strawberries.

Hotel convenient to beach and town whilst being quiet at night enabling us to get a good nights sleep. The manager was so friendly in welcoming us and accomodated us in dealing with all our requests in a pleasant and prompt manner- a really refreshing change and much appeciated by ourselves -we would definately recommend this hotel to all our family and friends.
