At one of the most unique and beautiful locations in Paphos, this popular yet peaceful hotel offers rocky and sandy beaches along with an long list of facilities and services. The Cynthiana Beach Hotel is close to Kato Paphos with its picturesque fishing harbor, the medieval fort and some of the most fascinating ruins and archaeological sites on Cyprus. Lush vegetation with swaying palms and banana plantations surround the hotel, and below every window, balcony or terrace lies the glittering Mediterranean Sea. Being right on the sea, the Cynthiana offers the opportunity to go diving and snorkeling, but also the hotel's indoor, outdoor and children's swimming pools are lovely places to have fun and cool off. The room had a seaview balcony on the second floor which the sun did not reach until 5pm so was not too hot. Spectacular sunsets. Slept to the sound of the sea.Very international, not many Brits!! Excellent buffet breakfast and very reasonably priced evening buffet. Very convenient for touring the area. Plenty of parking space as hotel not busy. Would have liked a la carte menu as well as buffet so ate out on several evenings.

Best location for rest & relax. No noises, traffic, etc. Nice beach (stones, stair to sea), natural pool. Nice views. A lot of tavernas close to hotel. Really good value for money. Staff and servises are not for hypercritical man

We went with my husband for just one night but we will certainly go back again for more. The staff are very friendly and we really liked the pool bar and the amazing view of the sea. There is no beach, meaning no sand. The hotel made a concrete path that leads to the sea with a small ladder if you dont want to jump. The water was crystal clear, and deep (starting from 2meters). Its excellent for snorkeling and scuba diving. Breakfast was basic. Very good location but you still need a car to move around. The room was quite big and clean. Its a 3 star hotel so there is no luxury but there was certainly comfort. We certainly recommend it.

you get wh at you pay for 3 stars hotel rooms need a renovation. the common spaces are excellent (reception, lobby, bar,cafeteria). the dining room needs to be more organized

Great location of the hotel on the sea side. Very friendly staff and good quality of breakfast. No shuttle service exists to/from Paphos airport as stated on booking.com . It should be "Private taxi" that costs 35 EUR instead. The room smells badly from old equipment/carpet and had to keep window open most of the time. The gym is very basic with old stuff. The breakfast time should be extended beyond 10am. The wireless connection is only on the ground floor and not free.

Cynthiana Beach Hotel has a beautiful location on a bit of land jutting out into the sea. Consequently most, if not all rooms, have very good sea views. Ours was very good. North facing, so no direct sun, but that suited us. Lovely view out to sea, across the bay and inland to the hills . Balcony would be too hot for us with sun on it. Pleasant room, nice and clean. Fresh towels each day. Bath/Shower. Plenty of space around wash basin. Great garden to lounge in looking out to sea. Indoor/outdoor pools. Plenty of rocks if you just like to sit on one and watch the sea. Spacious dining room. Good bar. Very nice staff. Plenty of car space (probably a bit full in season). Nice and quiet. Well away from main road. Would have liked more fruit at breakfast - fresh orange juice etc

Atrašanās vieta viesnīcai ir laba, viesnīca pilnībā atbilst trīs zvaigžņu līmenim.Jauki ierīkota pieeja pie jūras, jo reti kur Pafosā tas ir vispār iespējams.Numuri ar skatu uz jūru - kolosālas ainavas gan dienā, gan naktī. Numuriņi tiek tīrīti katru dienu, dvieļus maina reizi divās dienās. Servisa līmenis - pietiekami augsts. Šo viesnīcu var droši ieteikt kā labu trīs zvaigžņu viesnīcu. 1) personāla attieksme ir nelaipna( it sevišķi ja nerunā pervekti angliski); 2)ēdināšana - vienveidīga un negaršīga(bez sāls );3) bāra darbiniekiem ir tieksme ne vienmēr izdot pareizu atlikumu;4) ēdināšanas vietās ir pārāk daudz kaķu.

The sea view from the room No fly screens on the balcony doors which meant we were severely bitten by mosquitoes as the air conditioning system was inoperative. We spoke to the management who refused to switch on the system even though they admitted it was an extremely hot week. We brought to their attention the terms and conditions, which states that it is compulsory from May for the air conditioning to be operative. When the management was approached we received the answer that 'it doesn't matter as it does not state a particular day in May and it's up to us'!

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est chouette. La plage est très jolie et à proximité des chambres. Le petit déj est correct. La brochure ne correspond pas à la réalité. L'hôtel est vieillot il aurait besoin d'un relooking . L'hôtel n'est pas insonorisé. La vue de notre chambre moyenne. Le sauna ne fonctionnait pas, la piscine intérieure très froide. Le prix est élevé pour la qualité proposée.

Eine wunderschöne - ruhige - Lage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr in Ordnung, der Blick aus dem Fenster spektakulär. Das Essen im Hotel sollte man sich sparen: Hotel-Einheitsbreiküche, die es jedem recht machen möchte und mit lauwarmen, kaum gewürzten Buffet- Speisen aufwartet.
