Edelweiss Hotel  

THE LOCATION WAS LOVELY...the room was pleasant but the overhead heater was noisy and not very effective....the two girls who worked in the kitchen were lovely and friendly.

think we picked a bad time of the year as we were there for 3 nights and there was only one other couple there..breakfast was ok,,,but on the day the other couple were there extra things were brought out......the village was desolate at night and 99% was shutdown.....again it was no-one's fault other than ours for going out of season

Friendly set up and gave us Cyprus Delights and cake :)

Eggs. preferred hot.

The family and the staff were very friendly. Attend it us any time we need it them.We feel home.

I didn't like the idea of giving the keys to the reception when we went out for dinner. Though it was very secure I still thought that the key should stay with the person who booked the room. The breakfast was till 9:30 I wish it was till 10:30 we would have more time to sleep. The internet wifi was working only at the reception in the room I couldn't get in to webpages.

owners never smiles to customers especially wife of the owner, she is always look angry. It was the second time i was visiting same hotel last 3 months and same thing happens both times.

Wonderful stay. My second visit will recommend it. Owner and his wife very friendly lovely home cooking in the evening. Wonderful staff you feel you are part of the family. Certainly will come back. Wonderful location Annick Souter

No tea/coffee making facility in room although readily available from bar from 7 am onwards

I booked this hotel for my parents (around 60 years of age). Unfortunately they had a really difficult time and did not enjoy their stay in this hotel... Among others: 1) The rooms were too small 2)The room did not have a refrigarator 3) The owner wantes extra 6 Euro per for the usage of the air-condition! (he didnt mentioned it at the time of the booking) 4) The owner didn have change when my parents wanted to pay him!!! 5)Breakfast is extremely poor (they bring you one plate..) Synopsis- it is not worth it

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted in a peaceful and restful place in the Troodos mountains. The hotel staff and management were so welcoming and very caring. The hotel is close to many restaurants (not to mention how good their meals are) and to beautiful walks to the falls and through the forests. All roads to and from the hotel are very good so very easy to get to anywhere on the island. I would recomment this hotel strongly for a friendly and value for money stay.

The holiday would have perfect if we had a pool to dip in everyday - by the time we left the temperatures were in the 40's

The best thing is Georgios, the owner. He's a very nice person with whom you can talk about football or get information about the neighborhood. He absolutely knows well his island! The hotel is also very well located, nice position looking to the valley. The rooms are old style but nice and comfortable.

The breakfast could be a bit improved.

Chambre très (trop) exigue, idem pour salle de bains, mauvaise insonorisation entre les chambres

Die Lage ist sehr gut, und viele Wanderwegen in der nähe. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit.

Ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte bald eine Renervierung vertragen

η ασχημη μυρωδια που ειχε ολοκληρο το ξενοδοχειο, κατι σαν μουχλα......

Δεν ήταν δυνατή η σύνδεση Wi-Fi από τα δωμάτια, ενώ στην περιγραφή έγραφε πως σε όλους τους χώρους παρέχεται δωρεάν Wi-Fi .Επίσης στα δωμάτια είχε μόνο μια πρίζα και σε αυτήν ήταν η τηλεόραση. Όταν ζητήθηκε πολύπριζο, δόθηκε από την υποδοχή.

ειναι πολυ καλο με καινουργιο κρεβατι και μπανιο, ειναι καθαρο, με ωραια θεα!

δεν ειχε πριζες, ειχε μια μονο για την τν. τα καλοριφερ τα μεσανυχτα εκλεισαν και αναψαν πρωινες ωρες. φτωχικο προγευμα.

Calme de la chambre. Personnel attentionné.

Prettig familiehotel waar de eigenaar persoonlijk zorg heeft voor de gast. Prima diner met verse forel.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Netter Service, angenehme Unterhaltung. Wir wurden wie in einer Familie umsorgt.

Good location. If you want to spend just 1 or 2 days it's OK.

Old building but bathroom seemed to be renovated recently although they could have renovated better. The bathroom door didn't close completely. There was only 1 power socket in the whole room and it was occupied by the TV if you want to charge your phone or use any other electrical device you wont be able to watch TV at the same time. Breakfast was poor. The personnel was OK sometimes had problem with communication as some didn't speak Greek or English. The manager seemed friendly although some wouldn't appreciate his opinions on politics since he had stickers on the entrance and photo's on the reception of his favorite political party. For the same price I stayed in a far better hotel in Platres. Would not visit again most probably.
