Super friendly & helpful. Family run, they go the extra mile for you.
It was all good.
Good Food and very friendly staff
very hard pillows and luke warm hot water.
I booked this hotel based on the comments for the hospitality of the owners. I was not disappointed. We were made to feel like family from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is the best I found in Cyprus on its category. It is a budget hotel but it does not feel cheap. The room was spacious with simple but well made furniture. Everything was comfortable and we specially loved the blankets. The view from our room was amazing looking down the village and the mountains above it. The food is very good, the wine even better and trying some of the homemade sweets is a must. In general we really enjoyed our short stay and we look forward to go again.
The staff; Husband, Wife and son were very helpful. The cotton bed sheets were nicely ironed and very comfortable . The jacussi was fun.The balcony view spectacular. The food local dishes plentiful. Will return .
Lovely room with spa bathroom, views breathtaking. Made to feel like part of the family, nothing to much trouble. Delicious, home cooked food . felt totally relaxed. Enjoyed nice walks around the village.
Pillows a bit hard, everything else perfect.
Country hospitality at its best.
The bed was rock hard
Lovely family run hotel, gorgeous views from our bedroom terrace. We enjoyed our two nights there.
Warm family welcome, very helpful, great home cooked food and we had whatever we asked for. Great views from balcony, lovely quiet mountain village and very friendly people. Treated as family members.
This hotel is the best example of Cypriot hospitality we have ever experienced. Katerina Lois and Michaelas made us feel like family members from our arrival until the minute we left. armed with home made cake, baklava, a jar of home made jam and a generous portion of Katerinas home made moussaka. The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony overlooking Troodos is to die for. Food is cooked in their large kitchen and served fr esh in copious amounts. Nothing was to much trouble for the family and it was wonderful to chat with Lois whilst he prepared his veg for the evening meals and told us the history of the hotel and the village and his life as a teacher. It was like stepping back in time and living the quirt simple slow life for a wonderful couple days.
Nothing to dislike.
Fantastic hospitality and situation in beautiful village. very comfortable room- high quality bathroom- balcony with stunning views.
Breakfast were huge and excellent .Unfortunatelly the food was not good at evening meals
Katerina is a wonderful cook (be sure to have dinner there!) and the whole family could not be better hosts. Such a warm, open welcome and the little extra treats just kept on coming. From the birthday cake they baked for my daughter to the little jar of homemade jam they tucked into our bag when we left, we felt like we were staying with old friends, not just visiting a hotel. We can't wait to visit again!
The top bunk in the family room was quite squeaky. The stunning view from the balcony, plentiful hot water and great service more than made up for it though.
Location, extremely helpful staff, clean rooms, lovely view, good food!
I travel and stay away a lot through business and have never felt compelled to write a review, until now! If you are looking for the warmest of greetings and hospitality, if you have always wondered what it would be like to be treat like one of the family.. then you need to experience the delights of the Elyssia Hotel. In a world where everyone is busy being busy..... do yourself a favour and allow the Elyssia to transport you back to a time where the customer was truly the only 'Priority'......
Just back from 2 nights stay at the Eylssia. Wonderful home cooked food and you are made to feel at home by the family owners. A little gem.
Extremely friendly owners. Great food (the best stifado I've got in Cyprus).
Unpleasant smell in bathroom. Wi-Fi in restaurant only.
Very friendly owners who genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay.
Inconsistent food service - breakfast especially - offered bacon & eggs one day but not the next. Also got the feeling that if you didn't accept dish on offer at evening time you would be putting them out.
Katerina and Loizos were fantastic hosts. Lovely drink of homemade lemonade on arrival All food including breakfast was first class. Great stay we were made to feel really welcome.. We stayed for 2 nights and would go back again.
good location to explore the surroundings and the village of Pedoulas
No Wifi in my room Need more "fresh fruits" for breakfast
Great food and very friendly welcome. Staff could not do enough for you and view from the hotel was spectacular.
Breakfast could have been a bit more varied.
We were given a warm welcome by the owner of this family run hotel. All staff were pleasant and helpful. This charming traditional hotel had all the modern comforts to make our stay most enjoyable including a lift to all floors, air conditioning, a jacuzzi bath with shower cleaned to a high standard. The views from our bedroom window were breathtakingly spectacular looking right down the valley. The hotel is located in the pretty village of Pedulous high in the Troodos Mountains. The owner served plenty of traditional quality food very reasonably priced enjoyed by ourselves and many of the locals who frequented the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
The only disappointment was that we could not stay in this delightful hotel longer and enjoy the warm hospitality of the family, the local people and the beautiful surroundings.
We found this little hotel very friendly and relaxing. Michaelis and his mom looked after us very well. We enjoyed the food very much especially the trout and the moussaka. We stayed for three nights and ate in the hotel each evening.
Comfortable and good food.
Not enough parking.
