Het Flamingo Beach Hotel ligt tegenover de beroemde strand met blauwe vlag Makenzie, slechts 10 minuten rijden van de internationale luchthaven Larnaca. Het beschikt over een zwembad op het dak met een panoramisch uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee. De ruime kamers zijn voorzien van airconditioning en een eigen badkamer. Alle kamers in het Flamingo zijn uitgerust met gratis vast internet en satelliet-tv. De meeste kamers bieden uitzicht op zee. Gasten van het Flamingo Beach genieten van een Engels ontbijtbuffet. Het café-restaurant van het hotel serveert drankjes, lichte maaltijden en snacks. Elke week worden er in het hotel ook evenementen georganiseerd, zoals etnische avonden met dinerbuffetten. Meestal vriendelijk personeel. Gemakkelijke uitvalbasis voor het eiland te verkennen. Bijverwarming in bar en lobby zeer pover. We hebben er kouw geleden.

Ondanks reservering en bevestiging 8 dagen op voorhand was er geen kamer beschikbaar in het Flamingo hotel. Het hotel was overboekt aldus de receptiemedewerker bij het inchecken. Doorverwezen naar een minderwaardig hotel, afrekening weliswaar via Flamingo hotel. Ter compensate " free dinner buffet" aanbod echter van absoluut minderwaardige kwaliteit. Ondanks de geschikte ligging aan het strand en kort bij de luchthaven zal ik dit hotel in geen geval aanbevelen. A real disgrace for booking.com

Near to Larnaca Airport. Nominal rent. I booked the hotel for 3 nights. However I wanted to checkout after one night but Hotel authorities wanted payment for all the three nights I have booked. They told they have to pay the charges to booking.com for 3 nightd, even if we are staying only for a night. However, finally settled with 2 days payment. Breakfast was not good.

Sea view The director's attitude.τhe lift was out of order and we had to get upstairs by foot. My grandmother has a disability problem with her legs and you can imagine how painful and difficult was for her to get at the 3rd floor. When we complained to the director, he said " if your mirror break you want to be fixed at the same time?" . . . he didn't say sorry

Chose hotel as it was listed as having an Airport Shuttle bus and I had an early departure. Not true. Public bus stops nearby. Ran very late and only just made check in time! Mould round bath. Room listed as 'Sea view'. Room faced adjoining apartment block. (Sea could just be seen) Room fairly basic but I suppose that is what you get for €59.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Very near to the airport and beach Bedrooms could do with a makeover and a fridge which client can store water etc

Location to airport No drinking water in room. Nothing in the not turned on refrigerator. No instructions on how to turn on the air conditioner. No instructions on how to use the telephone to call the front desk.

We stayed overnight as we had to catch an early plane next morning. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the hotel, and taxi arrive within 5 minutes of ordering by reception.On this night they had a Greek night and barbecue in the evening. Goog entertainment (Greek type dancers) and reasonable prices.

We booked it to be near the airport for a day trip to Israel. It was near the airport and opposite a nice beach. This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. The receptionist gave the impression that she could not be bothered when we checked in. The room was dirty, the floor not cleaned, hairs in the bathroom etc. The air conditioning struggled to work, when I stood on the bed to see if it was working I noticed that it was so dirty it was blocked up with dust. In the morning the breakfast was served in open ban marie's and by 9.30 when we wanted food it was freezing cold and all the other food was running out. The roof top swimming pool could have been lovely but it was dirty and full of sand. Whilst we were there for three nights the corridor outside our room was never cleaned. Do not visit!!!!

The staff, Especially the owners, are the best I have ever met to date! The location, the food and the overall experience of being at this hotel. You felt very welcomed from the time you walked in til the time you left. I come to Cyprus annually for business and this will always be the hotel i stay at.

I liked the staff so much as they were so helpful and keen to comfort the clients. I didn't like the furniture, the absence of water boilers from the room and the price was very high in comparison to the hotel facilities. The buffet was so restricted ,bread was only white and brown toast,no deserts for breakfast and only two types of cheese which is nothing for an open buffet.As i only have cheese for breakfast this made me unsatisfied with food varieties.

Walking alone the beach early hours of the morning because we could not get a pot of tea as nobody was about to serve us That we booked a double bed for a romantic night and ended up with twin beds great;;;
