Golden Bay Beach Hotel    

The view from the room was amazing. The hotel room was a lot nicer than I had excepted it to be from the description online. The pool was and service around the pool was great.

There were issues with the hot tub of one of our friends and not only were the issues not resolved the maintenance man was a little rude.

First of all according to the international policy for rating for hotels, it just worth three stars. I booked hotel two weeks before my trip, but they take money from my credit card before my check in to hotel!!! This five star hotel does not have Concierge Services or Executive Lounge The indoor pool, sauna & Jacuzzi was in poor situation Bathroom was extremely bad. Service for cleaning rooms was very poor and UN clean. The service people make so noise during their job in corridors. At midnight time suddenly there was a loud outside room. Wall between rooms were very thin, so you may hear every word from your neighbor room!!!

The hot tub on the patio

Booked for three. Third bed not made up for early morning arrival , took over an hour to get bed made. Room only had accessories for 2. 2 x cups, 2 x chairs, 2 x sunbeds, 2 x gowns and slippers, 2 x toiletries, 2 x towels. Housekeeping never put it right for three. Hot tub towels went from 2 to 0 by day three. Floors very slippery when damp from hot tub. Beds, hard but just about comfortable. Room noisy from guests upstairs although hotel not very full. Hotel and bedroom not special as expected from a five star hotel. Lifts very small.

There was nothing i liked about the hotel

Lots of things that i didnt like: The smell of the hotel its disturbing as if its rotten The room facilities are poor , there is nothing in the minibar ,even there was no water in the room. Far from the city The food is terrible , with no variation or even taste, they dont even have fresh fruits of juice , and i dont remember when was the last time i saw a juice machine in a 5 star hotel

The hotel shows the lack of investment in the premises as well as the low training in personnel servicing the guests.

during breakfast the personnal was always talking and not replacing the empty plates with cold snacks and no omplette was available at couple of days.

Everything was excellent. They have upgraded us free if charge to junior suite with jacuzzi on the terrace. Most friendly staff!!! I trully recommend this hotel!

Perfect location - away from the city center, right on the beach, quite good breakfast. We were pleased to find a bottle of complimentary mineral water/wine and fruits in the room on our arrival. However, the hotel is a bit worn out and certainly needs to be completely refurbished to reach all the 5-star hotel standards. The hotel staff and the receptionists were polite and very helpful - we also got welcome drinks on arrival in the hotel lobby and were permitted to use the Business Center facilities.

Wedding parties tend to be organized during weekends and as a result this may turn out to be quite a disappointment for some hotel guests - restricted access to the pool area (where the party takes place) - but not the beach, possibly loud music in the evening if your windows face the pool area/beach and, most importantly, if you have rented a car, no available parking space if you arrive late to the hotel.

The room I got was excellent, with a jakuzi that worked very well, and two balconys with views to the sea. Confortable holidays hotel, with a good swiming pool and an acceptable gym. Kind receptionists and very kind at the restaurant. Good breakfast and, in my case, excelent price for this.

The coast in this part of Cyprus, between Larnaca and some industrial area is what it is, but the private beach of the hotel was big and clean and the water was ok. Good to say in Larnaca.

We were expecting a choice of three restaurants.Only one was available.The menu was identical and buffet style except for one which was a Gala dinner again in Yacht club.Food was not up to expectation and buffet meals boring.

The hotel is well located next to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent.

When we arrived the bellman could not do enough to make us feel more comfortable and at home. We arrived late and there was some courtesy food ( Flouna, eggs, sweets) and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was great, the pool and beach area were very nice. I would go back.
