no cleaning room 2 days .no
nice clean accommodation, lovely view looking out over the swimming pool. a great welcoming fire in the public area, and a pool table in the bar area.
the water wasn't always hot.
Great location (20 - 30 minutes by foots to the city center or harbour, LIDL shopping centre just 5 minutes from hotel), the view from our apartment - sea. So, the hotel is located in beutiful nature, in peacful place, but just beside the city centre. Full equipment in apartment kichen, great rooms, nice furniture, some of the staff were really nice and friendly.
We were staying for 7 night, and for 1 night and day we had no hot water, and for another night and day - no water at all. The hotel didin't apologise, didin't suggest ay compensation. At the last day I asked the administrator to print our boarding pass and she took 2 euros for that, despide the fact, that we didin't have all facilities (water) during our visit and at least this small gesture could be as an apologise or compensation.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is quiet, being 3 blocks back (and 5-10 minutes' walk) to the main road & route 615 bus stops to Paphos & Coral Bay. Wi-Fi signal in reception area is good. Apartment well-equipped & clean. Good value for money.
Nothing really - this is my second stay (I was here in February 2014) and arrived this year to the coldest weather in Cyprus for 100 years, but who can change that?
I've just returned from Paphos after staying at Hilltop for a week. It cost 30 euros to get there via taxi from the airport. The apartments were extremely good value for money, they were cleaned daily and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is food available in the Bar area and there are settees and a huge tv in the lobby area to relax and access wifi. The local restaurants and Lidl are around a 5-10 minute walk away (I would recommend a restaurant called The Kingfisher!). It takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the Harbour although there is a regular bus service and bus stop near the apartments. A huge thank you to Tina who looked after us, providing a map of the area and pointing out various areas to visit
Our apartment was directly in front of the pool so we could access wifi from the room which was a bonus. The only downside of staying in that apartment was that it was sometimes noisy in the mornings - although this was usually at around 9am so we were being lazy by still being in bed at that time!!
The air conditioning units in all rooms are like 20 years old and they are not working. So I freeze when I stayed a winter night and I guess it will be hot as hell during summer time.
Hilltop Gardens is a friendly and very pretty place to stay. Both Tracey and myself felt that it provided value for money and wont hesitate to stay there again.
Everything, Staff were friendly and helpful. The problems that we had were dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.
Better directions on how to find the appartmens, perhaps a bigger sign off Tomb of the Kings Road.
We always try to stay at Hilltop Gardens every year for our annual holiday. It's perfect for us.
Only negative towels were not changed regularly enough.
Lovely friendly hotel with great staff .
rooms could do with a wee bit of upgrading and maintenance .
Pool area ok and Thomas at the bar a great guy the girl took all her time to smile when serving food .I think it was too much for her.
Cockroaches climbing up wardrobe and dirty towels
The hotel is in residence area and we enjoyed the quite in the night. Thomas is always friendly and helpful.
It will be great help if we can have a clear guide how to drive to the hotel before we arrive there.
The location is good and staff is friendly.
It was €5 a night for Air Con
The location is good
Everything is old and need refreshment, the pool is dangerous - durty water, sleepery surface,no safeguard, the staff is rough, the apartment we stay had only one A/C, which is not enough and was wery, wery hot! We had never had such bad experience in Cyprus.
Staff Location Bar always open
Sofa can't be presented as beds Dimension of kitchen/living room No wifi in the rooms
All good and beautiful place
We were forget didn't on AC so we feeling very hot!
- rather cheap - free parking - quiet area
- very "raw" interior - air condition in one room did not work - quite limited choice for breakfast
Never again. Contact with the service was shocking, they were very rude and always have to know everything better than hotel guests. The rooms do not look like the pictures, Equipment of Rooms hotel old and we didn't expect it. Air conditioning old and smelly, besides did not work in one of the bedrooms (we paid 5euro per day), it could only work when we were in the apartment. Everywhere dirty cats even were in the swimming pool!! At night they slept on the sun loungers by the pool, tragedy! Pool closes at 7pm, so it was not possible in the evening to use, even though during the day was also not rescuer. The bartender at the pool kept saying, get out! Wifi was available to 24h, but it was only on the ground floor at the front desk! The fridge was very old, water was keep going on the floor, daily reported the issue is and inoperative air condition, still heard in response, "Tomorrow we'll fix it," and so the entire stay. Horrible service, we would not recommend it !!!!
This place was really good value for money. A little out of town, but as most others say on here, buses into the Harbour or up to Coral Bay were frequent and cheap (€1.50 single way, €5 day pass). A few minutes away there is a small minimart open till very late and a large Lidl supermarket about 5/10mins walk away - both very convenient.
I found the staff reception/bar staff to be slightly blunt and impatient - but maybe i'm very sensitive to customer service with a smile! For the first 3 days our apartment wasn't cleaned at all, and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Towels were not replaced everyday, but this didn't bother me too much. Overall the downsides were minor.
clean and friendly
location no atm near site no cards execpted at the bar or shop
Great value for a place with a great pool and facilities. Within easy reach of Pafos airport and only a short drive to the beaches or Pafos harbour.
Paid extra for AC - but what can you expect at these prices.
Lovely, quiet location, close to the Tomb of the Kings and several restaurants and bars. The staff were helpful and the apartment was flea and comfortable.
We had to pay extra for air con, which wasn't too much of a big deal.
