The room was a good size and in the summer the balcony would have been nice to sit on.The dining area was quite spacious and the food was varied and plentiful.The female staff were very pleasant and helpful.The location is excellent and the pool looked clean and inviting. There was not much choice for vegetarians even if you ate fish and the orange juice was not freshly squeezed as you would expect in a country that grows oranges.To get anything but Nescafe for breakfast you have to use a machine which is slow although the coffee when you get it is good. We never found an alternative to the lift to the top two floors apart from an emergency staircase where the rubber covering on the treads was very worn and quite dangerous.It is not the place to go if you like a quiet drink as the music in the bar in the evening is loud and permeates everywhere. If you only bring carry on luggage, with limited liquids allowed, it is annoying to find no toiletries provided apart from a dispenser. |

Easy self drive location 20 mins from airport.Helpful friendly staff.Very good range of breakfast/evening meal buffets.Pleasant outside pool area with garden ( though this pool is un heated) and flat access to beach and boardwalk path.Tennis courts good.Walk into harbour area with castle in easy 25mins.Lots of eating places next to harbour wall.Would agree with others that the tend to be mainly age 65+ but that did not worry us at all. Has a reasonable pool and jacuzzi but could do with being refurbished soon.Same could be said of the small gym room facilities,there is no rower or running treadmill.Beds could have quilts rather than blankets,very 1970s.Solid old style keys not cards,so multiple guest access an issue.As it was winter there was no AC on but we being from UK found it hot in the room at night,had to leave the window open all night with a small amount of noise.Pool and games room/squash/tennis finish at 1900 which is a bit early. |

It was my wifes birthday when we stayed at this hotel, and with no prompt from me, they placed a very nice Birthday cake in our room. She was very touched. The staff were all extremely pleasant and very helpful. |

Location - Very nice view of the sea. Fair food menu. The furniture is very old. Everything in it shows you that it saw tens of years passing by. The hotel is like Brigitte Bardot. She was superb 30-40 years ago but now is just an old lady. Not a 4 star hotel. |

Vue sur la mer, chambre agréable. Parfait. Jus d'orange servi à l'arrivée. Le système de paiement CB : résultat : aller à la banque à pied en pleine chaleur avec 1 enfant juste au moment du départ. Le personnel s'est à peine excusé. Beaucoup de vacanciers russes relativement incorrects dans l'enceinte de l'hotel. |
