With its value for money rates and convenient location within walking distance of the town’s shopping center, the Pefkos is the ideal choice for your stay in Limassol.
Score from 107 reviews Good
I stayed for 2 weeks. This was my second stay here, since I liked it the previous time. For me location was perfect, as i frequently traveled to Trodos. Clean and comfortable, I even got the same room as last time. Shops and restaurants are really close, staff is more than pleasant. I will come again.
If people are expecting a 5-star hotel for this kind of money, they should purchase a 5-star hotel instead of this one. Just saying :)
Staff friendliness Location (to Ygia Polyclinic) Wi fi Clean and quiet
Perfect location just walking distance from almost everything in the city. The staff was helpful and welcoming.
The rooms need to be more sound proof.
Heading for the Troodos mountains I was just looking for a one night stopover in Limassol and the location was convenient.
Receptionist definitely lacked basic politeness. She didn't bother to take earphones off and was listening to music when checking me in. Room was very basic and bathroom very smelly.
Very kind and efficient personel. Close to the bus station "Old hospital", offering options to visit Curium, Kolossi and connections to the city center (bus K201 to the old harbour every 10 min.). Also connection by bus No4 to the station Ag. Georgios Havouzas (from there is the connection with the intercity bus to Pafos and to the airports in Larnaca and Pafos).
Internet connection is very fast.
Bed. It had the waterproof cover that I disliked a lot. No additional quilts. The room is very small.
The family owners and staff, especially the daytime receptionist Petronella, were friendly and considerate. The room for single occupancy was a good size.Free fruit juice in reception.Ok breakfast for 5 Euros. The location very good with a hire car to visit the Troodos mountains.Overall great value for money.
Walk into old town took 15 minutes but could take bus down up to 8 p.m.
Fast internet 35 mb per sec.
Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet small room. Adequate breakfast.
Had some difficulty finding it, though travelling by bike, so no SatNav. Few dining choices nearby, though several with a walk or short drive. Far from 'tourist' area.
Friendly reception. Bright, comfortable room. WiFi worked well Good value
A bit of a long walk to the Old Town. Breakfast not great for €5
Basic, but clean and tidy. The towels and sheets are changed daily, which was really nice surprise. Free wifi in the rooms. The staff is helpful and polite. They were kind to offer us a bigger room for our one week stay. The hotel is very close to the city center, the old port and the new Marina. It is perfect for a budget stay.
Very small bathroom
Acceptable accommodation in a very over-priced town. Friendly, accommodating staff.
At this price point, you don't expect much...and "not much" is what you get, with swollen linoleum, a miniscule bathroom and (in my case) a running toilet. And, although I "liked" the feature fine myself, travelers with children should be aware that the hotel's satellite package includes a very "adult" channel.
Nice and clean room, comfortable bed, great wifi and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. The hotel is at 1km approx. from city centre and main attractions
Very friendly staff. The reception is opened 24 hours. The room was clean and the wifi was very good. The Castle is about 20 minutes on foot.
5 euros for breakfast
Pleasant staff, cold drinks free of charge in the lobby. Position for me was a plus since I visited Trodos frequently. I liked the fact that they only cleaned the room when I left the keys at the reception so I could plan nicely. AC very efficient, and i was surprised as well by the internet connection. There is a bakery and shop right across the street 24/7, and Debenhams shopping center 10 min walking plus bike rental station 2 min. Good value for the money.
In case you want to go around a lot, you should consider to rent a car, as walk to the beach is approx. 40 min, tho bike rental station is right next to the hotel if needed.
Overall, hotel was great. Free refreshing drinks was awesome and unexpected. Free wifi and cable tv was not necessary but gave a little more comfort.
We didn't render the car so location was a bit dissatisfying for us. This location was quite remote...
Functional, but clean. Very friendly owners, good value for your money. 5 minutes' walk to main bus station.
20 minutes' walk to (and back from) the center
The staff was very friendly and gave us a lot of good tips on what to do in Limassol and the surrounding areas. One time we were late for breakfast (until 10:00, I think), but they served us anyway. It was 5€ and well worth it. The rooms were very clean!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on a budget. Price/value was excellent!
Wi-fi was pretty fast and the owner was nice enough to give each one of us a free bottle of water. These were the only nice things about that hotel.
This hotel is definitely to be avoided! When we got in, it took them ages to find our booking even though we had our reference number and handed in the printed page of the booking. The elevator was tiny but that was nothing compared to the room. I could barely fit inside the toilet that was by the way full of ants. There was a terrible smell of piss in the room and just to make matters worse there was a squashed bug on the wall (wasn't squashed by us) that was being ravaged by an army of ants. There was only one sheet for two people and there was no lock on the bathroom.
Wifi, wifi,wifi. Good air conditioning.
Strong Cigarette smell in room. Room was basic and small and bed was like a sofa bed but still comfortable. Can't complain really at these rates. Make rooms smoke free and your laughing. TV was fuzzy so stuck with the strong wifi on 4th floor
I liked the staff. You can tell its a family business. It certainly has the x factor in many aspects, great comfort, great value, excellent hospitality. I just cant wait until my next business trip to limassol. I absolutely loved my stay in le village.
Cheap The room looked nice
The thing about WiFi is not true. There is NO usable WiFi in the hotel. There is something thats signal is weak in the rooms, but even if you can succesfuly connect to it, the internet speed is around of an old 54k modem's. They have two type of rooms: one that looks at to the wall of the next building, and one that looks at the street. The later type has a balcony, but they didn't hear about sound-proofing, so it's so noisy in the night, it's almost impossible to sleep. There is no shelves in the bathroom. Even a man can't put out his usual bathroom stuff (shave gel, razor) not to mention an avarage woman. However it's close to the sea, the neigborhood isn't exactly the best.
Internet was working perfectly. I got a double room even if I was travelling alone. No noise at all. Owners are kind.
The bathroom wasn't clean. The location is a little uncomfortable for travellers on budget, who don't want to pay for a taxi. There is a small bus station close to the hotel, where you can take a bus to the centre, but under the sun, in the middle of the day, it is not a pleasant walk :)
Non alcoholic drinks free in lobby-2 choices
Balcony only available in some rooms.
