Marinea Beach Villas  

Good location (10 minutes walking to the sea where there is a small nice beach, 15 minutes from Kato Paphos by car, also a good location to go in Akamas direction). Villa (number 1) is quite big and has 2 floors (the 2nd floor provides a small bed-room with a double-bed and the 1st floor provides another small bed-room with 2 single beds and a big living room and a big kitchen in the same space), individual yard with individual and clean swimming pool, 2 sun umbrellas and 4 sunbeds, many furnitures and kitchen equipment. At least some other Marinea villas (five) lead out the same inner side-street (yard), where you can park your car. The owner is friendly and helpful and you can ask for whatever you need.

There is a hotel nearby and quite loud music until late evening every day (I think until about 11-12 pm). There is nothing interesting around (except of the beach and sea side). The inner yard and the pool are separated from the inner side-street by only a small fence, also other villas are quie close (10 - 50 meters) thus you should not much count for privacy.

We stayed at villa no5 for 4 days and had a very good time. Antonis visited us in order to satisfy any extra needs we might have had. The villa was very clean and well equipped. It is is at a very quiet area and we strongly recommend it.

We have a 2 bedroom villa (nr.5) and it was perfect! It is the villa from the pictures. We stay in december for 10 days:Christmas and New Year's Eve,the weather was perfect! It was very clean,private pool,barbeque,2 bathrooms,linen changed once.We were welcomed with a basket of fruit, bottle of wine, bottled water and a few other staples in the refrigerator (bread, milk, juice, jam, butter).Antonis(the owner) allow us to stay as we want in the check-out day. I recomend this villas to everybody,but a car is a must!

We stayed for a weekend in December and loved the villa. It was exceptionally clean and the owner was very helpful when needed. Will be booking this place again for a longer period in the summer to make use of the pool and BBQ facilities.

The owner of the hotel Antonis did a great job. We had problems with our rental car at the airport and he helped us immediately (we arrived at midnight) with a taxi and gave us directions to the house. He also organised a local rental car for us on the next day. He recommended us places to go like nice beaches, places of interest and a nice local fish taverna and even local food, what we should try. We were trevelling with a baby and to stay in an own villa with pool near to the beach was perfect, as we could always go home from the beach for a baby nap and use the pool. The baby loved also the pool as he could always swim. The house was fully equipped with everything what you need, dish washer, washing machine, iron etc. Antonis also gave us a baby bed and and a baby chair.

The two bedroom villa we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It had all the necessary equipment ( from sheets and towels to washing machine) and it was really quiet. The pool was clean too.

Very friendly and prompt service, the owner really goes the extra mile for you (email with directions a day before our stay, warm welcome, quick response to questions and allowing us to stay for the whole day on the check-out day since our flight was in the evening). The house is very comfortable, the swimming pool makes all the difference in July, the location is wonderfully quiet and nearbye everything you need such as supermarkets, restaurants, city (you do need a car, but that's easy to arrange at Paphos airport). Highly recommended!

It is the perfect place, a large and comfortable house, which has everything you need for life (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, a large number of dishes and kitchen equipment). In the house even done cleaning and change of linen (towels), which we did not expect . Beautiful, well-groomed area around the house, lots of flowers and exotic fruits, a wonderful and clean swimming pool, beyond which are constantly being watched. Special thanks to Anthony, the manager, who promptly solved all our little problems that arise in the course of our holiday. A great place in which you want to go back again! Very close to the sea, the water is clean, but the entrance is poor and there is no beach, so if you're traveling with kids, then take a rental car, a beautiful sandy beach of Coral Bay in 10 minutes

As a couple traveling with 3 older children the villa met or exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Unit #6 which was tucked away in the corner of the complex offering us privacy from the neighboring units. The villa was clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and well equipped with the essentials. We were welcomed with a basket of fruit, bottle of wine, bottled water and a few other staples in the refrigerator (bread, milk, juice, jam, etc.) which was so nice after a long day of travel without having to rush out to a restaurant right away. Antonis, the property owner/manager stopped over on our first day to ensure that everything was to our liking and answered any questions that we may have had regarding the property (wi-fi access, etc.) The pool was warm, clean, and well maintained which offered a quiet respite after a long day exploring the island. Without any hesitation we would absolutely stay here again!

Not really a con, just a friendly suggestion...It is highly recommended that you rent a car for this location. It is situated close enough to the airport that you could take a taxi, but if you are going to rely on the public bus to get around to restaurants, grocery stores, and exploring you may not enjoy this area as much as we did. This was our first experience driving a car on left side of the road and we had absolutely no problems navigating this beautiful country. The roads are well marked and there are numerous signs directing you to the all the sights that Cyprus has to offer.

Great welcome pack including bottle of wine & glasses on the table - nice touch. Loads of space indoors for the family. Great location quiet & very little traffic, also ideal for walks along the coast line. Ideal shaded patio area for meals outside.

We were there in April so pool not very warm but think it would be great in the summer months, although ,plenty of room for the sun loungers to grab the sun in April.

Ci siamo innamorati di questa villetta! La villetta è su due piani con un giardino privato, una piscina privata (incredibile, solo per noi! Tenuta benissimo e pulitissima) e ha due grandi balconi su cui si può cenare all'aperto. La cucina è grandissima, luminosa e perfettamente accessoriata (forno, microonde, tostapane, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, ecc.). Al piano terra c'è anche un grande soggiorno, una cameretta con due letti e un bagno. Al piano di sopra c'è la camera matrimoniale e un altro bagno. L'ambiente molto tranquillo (una strada privata) ma a 5 minuti di auto da tutti I servizi di Paphos (supermercato, ristoranti, bar). L'aeroporto è a meno di mezz'ora di auto. Il rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale e la posizione eccellente per esplorare l'isola. I bambini non volevano più ripartire (e noi nemmeno).

Unico neo il letto matrimoniale è largo solo 140 cm quindi si sta un po' stretti e la doccia al piano di sopra tende ad allagare la camera, perchè c'è solo la tenda e non il box doccia.Va precisato inoltre che è vero che il posto è a 100 metri dal mare, ma è una sorta di scogliera e non c'è la spiaggia. Anche se il posto è suggestivo, quindi per fare il bagno ci vuole necessariamente l'auto. D'altra parte la macchina è indispensabile comunque per muoversi, perchè la villetta è in una zona residenziale di seconde case ma non in paese

Vriendelijke en gedienstige bevolking.Kalme rustige omgeving. Een 7-tal km van Paphos.

Overal op de stranden en in de omgeving treft men veel zwerfvuil aan.

Мы жили на вилле №7, она расположена ближе всех к морю. Со стороны моря к нашей территории примыкал небольшой садик засаженный оливами и инжиром, который отделял нашу виллу от автостоянки у отеля Akti. В заборе была калитка, через которую можно было в садик пройти. Ещё с одной стороны был каменистый овраг, за которым находился ряд других вил. С двух оставшихся сторон располагались территории соседей. В целом очень не плохо. Тихо и зелено. Сама вилла недавно построенная и полностью оборудована. Посуды на кухне с избытком, вся в очень хорошем состоянии. Плюс две решётки для барбекю и куча всяких вилок, лопаток и пр. Бельё и полотенце меняют раз в неделю, когда убираются.

Далеко от магазинов, ресторанов и пр. Обязательно нужна машина. Везде ползают мелкие муравьи. Бывают насекомые по крупнее.

We had a great time at Marinea Beach Villas: The private pool was very nice, the rooms all very clean, the kitchen and living areas had all that was needed and more. All in all very recommendable and I look forward to another visit! Also very good value for the money.
