Marios Apartments

Friendly atmosphere. Clean and well equipped apartment. I appreciated being met at the airport when I arrived late at night and the welcome pack of provisions which had been left for me as it was Easter and the shops were closed for three days after my arrival. Other guests were regular customers who had been staying at Marios for holidays over a period of several years. They praised the family for their hospitality and said they intended to continue returning in the future which I fully intend to do myself. I am a pensioner and was staying alone and I would highly recommend this as an ideal holiday for anyone in a similar position.

Marios the owner could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Thank you Marios and family for your constant help during the week.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was under construction but will be lovely when finished.

Morios was very helpful and on hand, a small welcome pack on arrival, spacious and clean basic apartment. Excellent local restaurant in walking distance. Very well located for driving to other places on the island. Good value for money.

Need car to get to nearest tourist beach at Larnaca though only 10min drive

Friendly atmosphere, obliging owners, spotlessly clean, restaurants close by in village, regular bus service to Larnaca for 1 euro, good value for money.

The local beach is actually about 30 mins walk so if you have young children then a car would be an advantage.

Depends on the location of the apartment, ours wasn't in the main building let's say. Marios is really kind and can come in handy for any info.

Dog barking all night long, wifi works only in the main building, no meal options.

There is no proper hot water, no cleaning is done, there is no assistance or help at any given time. There is no urgency by the owner to sort out problems, the tv didn't work. The sink was regularly blocked and the room was fully infested with ants. Having reported the owner to the cyprus authorities, they confirmed the establishment has no licence to run as a hotel, and is for residential use only. Me and my family suffered from skin injuries due to the lack of basic necessities not being provided.

Very friendly and professional owners and staff. I booked a studio apartment for 5 nights, but I got 1 bedroom apartment for the same price. Free transportation to and from the airport. By bus is so easy to go to Larnaca and it is only 1 € and it will take 25-30 min. Excellent communication by email. Thank You Marios!

On their site they say: Free welcome package on your arrival (milk, bread, marmalade, ham, cheese, eggs, butter, water, Nescafe, tea, sugar and the bottle of Cyprus wine). Only applicable for guests staying 5 nights or more, but I never got it. Wifi is not available in all house and apartments.

The price was excellent and the quality very high. I have seldom stayed in a place this clean! We arrived at the airport late and wanted something nearby (less than 15 mon) to be able to travel toward Limasoll the next day. We only spent one night but wish it was more. Inviting pool, big apartment and the town was cute with plenty of restaurant options. We ate across the street, which was very good. This would make for a very good home-base to explore the island.

Without navigation it is very hard to find int he dark. However, a very nice town person jumped in their car when we asked for directions and led us straight there. The hotel would've also done that if we had called.

Clean big apartment. Very quiet position in the centre of Pervolia (10min from Larnaca).

Very friendly and professional owners and staff. Family run property. Clean (deep clean) rooms with fully equipped kitchen, tv and wifi. Clean and renovated pool. Thank you Marios and Marina for your kind advice and help! Pervolia is small village with many restaurants, bars with friendly locals and good food. You can find a bank, atm, several shops and mini markets. Even without a car - you can take taxi or public bus to Larnaca. It will take just 20-30 minutes.

6-8 km to the airport - so you can watch and hear departing planes. But it will be the same - in most places near Larnaca.

We spent 6 days in Marios Apartments. General impression about the apartments is good. The hotel looks really good both from the outside and inside. Our apartment was pretty spacious (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room with balcony. Everthing was clean and rather new. What is more all resort was really clean! To our surprise when we arrived in the fridge we found a little surprise.

Be careful there is no a/c included in price!!! If you want to use a/c you have to pay 5 eur per day extra. The owner ask you if you want to use it however he won't tell you about extra costs!!! Another thing... There is only one roll of toilet paper in the room! Want more? You have to go shopping :-) and this not a joke!!!

I was made very welcome by the owner of the apartments, The rooms where clean and functional and perfectly suited our purposes. A great start to our stay in Cyprus.

Mario's Apartments is one of the best places I have stayed. Located just outside of Larnaca in a small yet lively village and a few minutes away from the airport. The apartment is perfect for a holiday, kitchen well equipped with all the essentials. Great swimming pool and surrounding area just right for relaxing! Mario and his family are very hospitable and really friendly people!!

Maybe they should change the curtains. If you are a light sleeper then you might wake up in the morning from the light coming in the room.

Great place. Very hospitable owners. If you are looking for a relaxing area of travel then Pervolia is perfect. Close to local restaurants and pubs and only a 20 min walk to the beautiful beaches. Make sure not to drink the tap water.

Welcoming owner, taking the time to call you to know around what time you will be there. Then paying us a visit from time to time to make sure everything was ok, that we didn't need anything. Cleanliness of the place, well furnished (fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, pan, and so on), towels in the bathroom and toilet paper to start. Pool area enjoyable with its banana trees and sunbeds and quiet. Perfect for all that.

If you are sensitive to noise, the apartments situated on the side of the street are of course in the noise of the pub nearby. However the music never stopped us from falling asleep. Likewise, the Larnaka airport is not too far away, so that you hear a bit the planes approaching/leaving the airport (not at night). Pool is not that big but fair.

i stayed at marios for 8 nights in may 2012. and it was by far the best place i have stayed at on any of my vacations. the room was amazing. and Mario is one of the nicest guys i have ever met. he really loves doing what he does and you can tell he does by the way he treats his guests. im from the U.S and you don't find his hospitality at any hotel here in the states. i will definitely be going back to marios apartments when i return to Cyprus. best place i ever stayed at.

Marios Apartments is a good small hotel, which has pleasant and affable owners. They met me in the airport and transported into the airport after the end of the period of leisure. As a whole, the place for leisure is good.

Just a great and hospitable owner. Nothing to add. Just go there!

A great value for money and the couple running the place is absolutely charming and very welcoming. The apartment was large and the center of the village is 2min-walk, the pool and the terrace are a plus too!
