Paphos is a mix of culture, nature and history.
Paphos is a mix of culture, nature and history. It is filled with lots of museums and beautiful beaches in every corner. It is highly recommended for travellers who wish to have a relaxing beach-side vacation and also want to spend some days in the mountains. The city and the people are extremely child-friendly.

A great winter getaway.
A great winter getaway. The sun in February was warm enough to give us a tan and it felt much warmer than the official 17C. The coastal path goes on forever and is amazing. The buses are very frequent and can take you to different sections of the coastal path. Plan longer trips since a ride is 2 euros no matter what ;)

Walking along the shoreline is our favourite thing to do in Paphos it’s perfect for everyone even wheelchair users would find it good ,there is still some building work going on but when it is completed it will be fabulous. Supermarkets, pubs and nightclubs not forgetting the mall, there is definitely something to do for everyone. even a quiet corner to read a book and have a Cyprus coffee.

We were travelling from east of Cyprus to the west visiting all major cities on the coast and Paphos was the best area with archeological sites, shops and people and we have had the best feeling from this city. Almost everyone at Cyprus can speak English except people in the mountains, there it was more difficult however possible to communicate. Also at Paphos it was not so much mess at the streets and seems to be well maintained.
We stayed here for a one night last min booking. The location was good, particularly as we like to walk so happy to walk along the coast line to the centre (30-40min walk to the castle). The buffett breakfast was really good and expansive with lots of options. The pool is cute too. Nice touch with the ARPIVITA products in the bathroom. That was nice surprise! The hotel is a little dated and the ocean view we had minimal but still cute to stay here for a night in a place that has existed a long time and we found it very clean :)
location in calm area outside the city center but still easy access to Paphos and coral bay via bus! the owner is a perfect host always smiling and full of attention! the restaurant belongs to the family and the food is very good for really cheap price. you also get a discount because you are staying at the appartment! we had a fantastic time and we can only recommend to everyone who wants to meet nice people with a typical Cyprus touch! far away from the impersonal « all in » solutions in Cyprus! we will come back for sure!
- nice clean hotel with comfortable room
- good food (not too much fresh fruits and quite simple selection of deserts)
- breakfast until 11:00 and dinner till 21:00
- bus stop right next to the hotel (bus can take you all around Paphos - you might need to change the line)
- beautiful view from the pool
- a lot of food and drinks with All Inclusive (i believe half board would be just enough for most of the people)
- refreshing lemonade at the entrance for everyone
- helpful and friendly staff
- spacious free parking lot
I really liked the location. It's right in the Old Town of Paphos - i.e. surrounded by restaurants and bars and excellent for the evenings. It was also easy to get buses.
The woman in charge was extremely nice and helpful.
There's also common areas including a kitchen and an area with sofas.
The place is extremely basic, but its location and the helpfulness of the woman in charge make it a decent location for a night in Paphos, especially if you're trying to avoid the extremely touristic hotel area.
My partner and I stayed in a Premium room with a Sea view and it did not disappoint. The room was wonderful with direct views onto the pool and sea. We upgraded to the all-inclusive package and were happy not to have to think about food and drinks during our stay. The staff was superb, always friendly and ready to help or answer questions. Booking airport transfer to and from the hotel was easy with reception. Also, cheers for being adults-only!
The hostel is in a perfect location, very walkable to restaurants, right in the middle of the “old town” neighborhood. The room was mostly clean, and I loved the big windows that allowed for good airflow and light. I requested a quiet room that faced an inner courtyard, and happy with that choice since I didn’t get the loud sounds of the nightlife on the main road. There are also several large common areas that were comfortable.
We had an amazing stay! The hosts are sooo welcoming and kind, they really made us feel at home. The room and bathroom were very clean and everything we needed was provided (including a welcome cup of tea and a delicious full English breakfast!). The hosts made the best recommendations for taverns and activities in the area. We will definitely book again for a next trip to Cyprus. Thank you Steve and Despina! ❤️
Friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Superb location, very handly for the seafront and a wide range of restuarants. Breakfast plentiful and very good. La Place Royale (onsite restaurant) is one of the best in the district. Excellent shower. Because the hotel lacks many of the bells and whistles of the bigger hotels it only boats 3 stars, but the accommodation and service is 5 star.
Really good value. Although a little tired in places the hotel was lovely and clean, not overcrowded, had lots of entertainment to do and the food was delicious. The facilities were perfect for our age children especially as 2 are not great swimmers. Will definitely return. The pressure in the shower was the best shower I have had in Cyprus which helps get chlorine out of your hair too.
Nicholas (front desk) and all of the bar staff were outstanding. The facilities were clean, and we enjoyed the ocean access area and the pool, not to mention the excellent gym. Christy, who operated the little sales shop, was warm and friendly.
Nicholas suggested the nearby Taverna, one of our favorite meals in Cyprus. We also really loved the hotel's morning breakfast buffet!
If you wanna relaxing , this is the right adress , one of the best appart hotel in cyprus , good location from center and harbour just 10 min walking ,shopping mall also is arround 15 min walking......Tina was the best really she give us all facilities thanks for her , i never see receptionist helpful like her 😊 ......massage service also available just contact reception and book

Restaurant Nocturne is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cyprus and deserves 1 Michelin star
Suite 401 is probably the most emblematic hotel room on the island
We had one bedroom suite, this is very nice little apartment - bedroom and small livingroom with kitchen area with kettle and coffeemaker. Nice view from balcony to the pool. Breakfast was excellent, also sparkling wine, tea, coffee, friendly service. Also hotel provides sauna, inside pool and some spa services - thai massage was very good.
Our staying was amazing. The room was comfortable, super clean and cosy. Amazing stuff, excellent food. We had an experience in Spa, it was awesome, the best Kanika treatment in Cyprus. Thank you so much Alexander the Great Hotel! For sure its not our last staying, we come back for holiday.
Easy access to the beach. For me it was the best, clean and safe beach in Paphos ever and it just 2 min walk from the hotel!! I tried many other beaches with the kids.
Nice swimming pool area. Delicious breakfast and dinner.
Amazing view
Lidl food shop just 5-10 min walk
The outdoor pool area was the best part of the hotel very luxurious and suitible for a 5 star resort.
The service was excellent! the staff were very warm and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. my room was clean and specious and most importantly quiet!
Great location and the villas are really lovely. The local restaurants are excellent. This was a wonderful base for touring Cyprus. The pool areas are very good and cleaned regularly. Kitchens well equipped with spacious living areas.
The staff was the best I have seen in Cyprus , the welcoming, the details as soon as we entered the hotel.
Bed was very comfy
Breakfast was excellent with so much choice
The indoor pool super convenient for April.
