Palm Beach Hotel & Bungalows  

-Pulizia e colazione unici punti davvero soddisfacenti..e ottimi.

Per dare una rapida idea, rispetto ai commenti che ho letto prima di sceglierlo sono stata delusa sotto certi punti di vista e soddisfatta su altri, nello specifico: -Non appena arrivati, la prima cosa che è stata richiesta è stato il totale importo del soggiorno o su carta o cash maggiorato di 16€ nel ns. Caso a fronte di "eventuali spese tipo frigobar", quando di solito con booking si è sempre pagato alla fine del soggiorno... -A Cipro abbiamo scoperto non esserci gli attacchi di presa di corrente europei e quando abbiamo chiesto l'adattatore, hanno richiesto una "caparra" di 2,40€ per questo "pezzo di plastica" poi a fronte di lamentele visto cmq la tipologia di albergo, I prezzi ecc, l'hanno concesso senza caparra. -Il frigobar è sigillato e non permettono nemmeno di utilizzarlo per refrigerare eventualmente una bottiglia d'acqua presa esternamente. Ora, anche la pensioncina a Rimini lo concede..un hotel a 4 stelle no?? -La sauna è staccata dal complesso o meglio il tutto è a pagamento, occorre specificarlo visto che non viene descritto molto chiaramente nella descrizione dell'hotel, e la piscina non è riscaldata nè interna. In definitiva, hotel con 4 stelle ma I servizi non sono esattamente tali, la struttura è un po' decadente. Non credo vi sia un buon rapporto qualità prezzo sostanzialmente.

The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The atmoshere is calm and relaxed, though the hotel was nearly fully booked. The breakfast and dinner buffet is excellent. For a small extra charge we were able to upgrade to a room overlooking to the sea and pool area.

At this time of the year, beginning of March, the area where the hotel is located most of shops and restaurants were closed which was a pity. It would be nice if the hotel would have some regular minibus (or taxi) service to the city of Larnaka.

It was relatively close to the airport. There was a bus stop and taxi stand right outside the door. There were rent-a-car agencies close by. The hotel staff helped us to book some tours and book a taxi ride. We didn't get the half board meal plan, only breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. We liked the swimming pool and exercise facilities.

Like any other hotel, the mini bar prices and restaurant prices were a bit more expensive than we wanted to pay; however there were plenty of little supermarkets and restaurants in the area, so we didn't have to rely on the hotel for our food and beverages.

The hotel concierge was not at all friendly or helpful. When asked about renting a car for a day to visit a nearby city he simply told us that the minimum rental was 3 days. When we inquired about other possible ways to visit the city he said he didn't know and made no efforts to find out if there was a bus service, or a tour or any other way for us to visit anything nearby. I would have expected much more from a tourist hotel.

very boring... no life

The fact that the hotel had organised various activities - zumba, aquagym etc and the fact that you can hear the sea from the balcony.

I don't remember things I did not like.

Good facilities.Good choice during breakfast.

Wanted to use facilities, had to pay. Sauna, steam room etc.

Friendly Staff and Reasonable facilities

Old and not refurbished considering the money they are charging

Thin walls between the rooms. One can hear the conversation from the next room.

Palm Beach Hotel is a lovely Hotel, we stayed there 28 years ago and it is a good now as it was then.

Good Cafe, pool and seaside location. Ideal for sun lounger holiday. Would recomend trying restaurants in Larnaca for evening meal or mezze for lunch as they are far supperior and more varied.

-Complimentary water wasnt complimentary - came out as "Mini Bar food" on the bill...rather difficult to claim and explain that back to my company! -Buffet dinner every night...needs a seasonal set menu instead. -Fee to use Internet extorsionate. -Needs extra plug socket in the bedroom. -Need more english spoken tv channels

I know the hotel and the staff and have always enjoyed staying in the hotel.

Although the pool is excellent in summer, it is starting to feal a little cold now, so maybe have some form of heating in the winter months.
