Palm Beach Hotel & Bungalows  

This is the second time we have had a short break at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, good sized rooms, excellant beach front location and just a 5 minute drive into Larnaca. We will definitely stop again!

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful

Both pools (indoor & outside) were not heated although it was promised in hotel description. Gym & fitness working hours are inconvenient, 08.30- 10.00 - we wanted to do fitness before breakfast (which is 07.00-10.00) but it was too tight in timing.

Palm Beach Hotel is a lovely Hotel, we stayed there 28 years ago and it is a good now as it was then.

Beach and sea-side pool was nice

Thin walls between the rooms. One can hear the conversation from the next room.

We enjoyed our stay. Prior to arriving I arranged with the manager to have a bottle of wine and some cheese waiting for us on our balcony (paid extra for this room) on arrival. Despite a confirmation email giving the price and me confirming, this did not happen and caused me some disappointment-why don't people do as they promise?

One or two of the staff are quite surly.

I would have liked the gym to open earlier so one could do a work out before breakfast. (It only opened at 8.30am and breakfast was served until 10am). The water sport facilities weren't available as advertised. (Water skiing was available but no canoes etc) It would have been nice if more than one restaurant was open for dinner in the evening.

Wonderful bungalows - big, comfortable, nice. Good location of bungalows. Nice pool near bungalows (looks like private zone with not too many people), quite and well-organized. One more plus: I booked double-room but in comments wrote that I prefer bungalow, so we were provided with bungalow.

Beach - bad quality of sand, not too big, too many beach beds. Sea is not open but separated from "big sea" by long cutwater.

Very unfriendly staff

The staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly and not many food options

The sea view room were were given was fantastic and it was a pleasure to sit on the balcony with a bottle of wine at sunset

I liked a lot the bungalows, the room was big, clean, functional, the pool was next to our patio door. I regret that we did not have the time to stay longer..:(. If we will go again in cyprus, for sure i will book a room at this hotel for at least a week!!

The fact the hotel has its own beach, while the room I booked had a direct view to the sea. The open buffet restaurant where I had dinner was also quite good, the same with the other restaurant with music. The pool looks impressive at night too while the breakfast in the morning had a big variety and quality was very high.

The rooms were nicely decorated and the pool was good. Also right on the sea front which was nice.

Bit out of the way, not as close to the airport as I thought.
