Rodon Hotel and Resort  

Having stayed at the hotel before I enjoyed the meals and the choices, unfortunately on Easter Friday the buffet dinner was very disappointing with only one choice of meat (chicken) after that day everything was back to normal very good.

We had a suite which was large with a comfortable super king bed and bathroom with tub and shower over. The décor is a bit old fashioned but it was warm and clean. There was a large fridge with plenty of space and good aircon. The balcony had nice views over the village and mountains. Breakfast was fine, if unexciting. Car parking was no problem at all.

Difficult to control the heating on one radiator so we had to have the aircon on to cool the room

A. The bathroom was not clean. The tiles were watermarked and looked like they had never been wiped. The handle in the bath had black fungus on the underside and soap scum. It has obviously never been cleaned. You can see that when having a bath B. there were only 6 people in the dining room at breakfast. Nevertheless, our breakfasts arrived cold (eggs, sausages, bacon). The bacon was not cooked properly. It was still grey and cold.

The wine list is very poor We asked for water and they said they only serve bottled tab water...imagine that AGROS water is taken from Agros and then bottled but they do not serve it as it is natural

Room was big but not that clean. Heating was very noisy on/off in the evening. Spa facilities very poor.

Food is good. Hotel is nice. Rooms are warm.

They don't change the towels when they make up the rooms. We paid a lot of money for 2 nights. They could at least change the used towels.

The location. The heating was working perfectly and the rooms were constantly warm. The breakfast was excellent. The prices for drinks and food inside the hotel were reasonable. The matress and pillows were comfortable.

Cleanliness of the room was ok but could be better. Soundproofing needs to be done.

The hotel is positioned in a beautiful area. Nice little village with a beautiful church,local rosefactory and good local restaurants. We tried the local Kebabshop in the church area and we had a great and cheap meal.

The hotel is very big.When we arrived there where only a few tourists. The next day some big groups arrived and it was quiet noise during the night.

There was an extra fee to use the sauna and the jacuzzi facilities.

Location, Views, nature beauty, clean air.

Rooms are basic, food is not as tasty as it is expected from a Greek / Cypriot kitchen. Main Restaurant as well as lobby are not cosy / romantic at all. It could have been a wonderful place as is with no improvements. It just requre improvement in the management style (to add little atmosfer) and improve taste and presentation of food (quality) though varieties are not bad and quantities are large. So it is not a matter of cost but quality..

Very good value for money, clean and very friendly staff.

Because it was October it would have been nice to have the option of heating. We found it cold at night.

We just stayed for 1 nights B&B in September while travelling in Cyprus. The hotel is in a beautiful position and the gardens are excellent. It met all expectations. Breakfast was very good.

Well located, average quality tourist hotel. They do everything fairly well. Great views. Interesting area of Cyprus.

Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would add to comfort.

Loved the setting, ideal for walking.

The food was terrible and kitchen was slow.
