Stratos House  

Be aware, it is not an hotel. It is more a "B&B" without the breakfast on site. 2 rooms are in a cellar. So no view. We had to discuss to have the one we booked (with view on the mountain). Unfortunately, it is next to the Elena's mother appartements (could hear the phone, ...) Elena is not present and although his mother is very kind, she does not speak english at all. Breakfast is in a pub in the center of the village (OK not far, but....). This is our first time our booking through booking.com does not meet our expectations. :-((

Nice Room design and clean. Proper old cottage.

No staff to welcome you. Just one lady there and she knows no word in english. So we couldnt comminate and no telephone to contact anyone in the case of emergency. Although we paid for breakfast, the small cafe was closed and we werent served anything. Therefore our 12 euro went absouletly for nothing. Although it is mentioned that free parking, there is no parking area belong to the house.

Very quiet in small village. Cosy interior in old typical Cyprian house and complete with satelite tv,small kitchen. Nearby great local restaurant with great atmosphere to experience Crycian country live.

parking is a bit diffecult. No view from room, but outside terrace under the vines available.

The owners are the nicest accomodation owners we have met over all the years of our travels and the accomodation was very clean and filled with character and romance. The village is scenic and all the people we had contact with were very friendly to us as tourists in their village. Can't recommend Stratos House enough!!

Our stay at Stratos House for a week was a great experience. The owners are very warm and polite, our room was very comfortable, our kitchen was equiped with more than we expected and the village was perfect!!

Charming little village with beautiful sarroundings,lovely apartement,quaiet and clean,very nice people.Easy to reach main touristic attractions(by car)

Very difficult to find even using GPS (which is useless in such little villages) especially by night ans driving a car on the left side whithout beeing told before.No kind of meal,no breakfast.Very small bathroom.Anyway I would recommend this house.

Excellent accueil tard dans la soirée par Giorgio qui parle très bien français et a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit réussi. Soupe maison à notre arrivée et bouteille de vin pour commencer notre séjour à Chypre(sans supplément). L'appartement était très bien équipé et fonctionnel.Très bon petit déjeuner "maison". Beau village typique .Calme. Depuis l'aéroport, nous avons pris l'autoroute , une sortie indique le village puis nous avons suivi les indications données par le propriétaire. Pas de difficultés. Vraiment très bien !

prima appartement, zeer gastvrije eigenaren die er alles aan doen om je verblijf goed te laten verlopen. Schoonmaak en wisseling van linnen/beddengoed om de 2 a 3 dagen! Heerlijk vakantie gehad.

Everything was great and we had a great time at Stratos House. The lady there was very hospitable and the room was very clean. In general the house was very stylish, all the furniture there are antiques. The room has tv with satellite channels, a cd player, ac, heating system and everything are in very good condition. An excellent choice if you want a place to relax.

Das Hotel entsprach den Erwartungen, die Beschreibung war sehr gut. Die Räume sind sehr individuell und romantisch eingerichtet. Einfach mal was anderes. Wegen der Nähe zur Autobahn sind die örtlichkeiten im Süden und Südwesten, sowie das Zentrum leicht erreichbar. Es eignet sich gut als Stützpunkt für Ausflüge. Da wir im Dezember vor Ort waren, können wir Strand- und Poolmöglichkeiten nicht beurteilen. Die Besitzerin hat uns ein gutes Restaurant für den Silvesterabend organisiert (dies ist in Zypern gar nicht so einfach, da nahezu alles an Silvester und Neujahr geschlossen hat) Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr gut. Zum Frühstücken geht man in das Dorf-Cafe. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und schmeckte besser als in manchem Hotelbunker. Die Leute im Dorf sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Die Verständigung war schwierig, da die Mutter der Besitzerin nur griechisch spricht. Sie hat sich jedoch hervorragend um alle Fragen gekümmert und notfalls war eine Verständigung über Handy mit der Besitzerin (spricht Deutsch) möglich. Der Dorfplatz wird aktuell renoviert und ist sehr schmutzig, speziell wenn es regnet. Da man den Dorfplatz ständig kreuzt (zum Parkplatz, zum Cafe,...) ist dies sehr lästig. Die Renovierung sollte aber bis zur nächsten Hochsaison fertig sein.

Een authentiek ingericht verblijf, een aantal jaren terug in de tijd. Wel alles aanwezig! Vriendelijke eigenaresse die helaas geen engels spreekt. Rustig dorpje met zeer gastvrije dorpelingen die het je echt naar de zin willen maken. Voor een ontspannen rustige vakantie zeer geschikt, in de omgeving en het dorpje zelf valt verder weinig te beleven. Auto is wel noodzakelijk

Het bed was erg hard, en de douche was zeer primitief, weinig tot geen water.
