The Library Hotel Wellness Retreat

It is the perfect place to relax and calm down. The rooms are fantastic decorated and comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly and caring and give you the feeling of really welcomed. The restaurant serves delicious food. I can only recommend strongly the Library Hotel.

The room was excellent with plenty of space to move around. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was an excellent treat for relaxation. The staff was friendly and very helpful and understanding for everything we asked. Overall we are very pleased with our stay.

The hotel restaurant was closed, something that was not mentioned at the time of booking. As a couple we always try to take the maximum advantage of the hotel facilities and we seldom move around especially during weekend breaks. A non-existent restaurant was a minus. Another thing that we did not like was the fact that our room door was a glass door with the curtains not fully covering. Something that it gave a feeling of non-privacy.

- Excellent location as a basis to visit the country. - Situated in a typical village of Cyprus - In the centre of the village.- possibility to have dinner in the hotel or at the very typical restaurant Georgio on the square (that we recommend). - Friendly staff

- The Internet non accessible in the rooms while it is indicated as accessible on the site Booing.com - The Jacuzzi on the terrace which is out of order and chiefly not cleaned (which gives a bad impression).

The swimming pool is 1,5 x 2 metres, so it can't be considered as such. Room is dirty ( found a dead croakoach ).

This hotel is in a small village where nothing much goes on - exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Both of us loved the peace and quiet. The library is a wonderful place to browse through books, play games or just relax with a glass of Commanderia. We also loved dining al fresco in the beautiful courtyard when the weather permitted. Service is good and unobtrusive and our room was very comfortable with a lovely marble bathroom.

The only thing I can fault is the limited choice of vegetarian food on offer. My husband is vegetarian and he had to take pasta every night. To be fair we did not bring this issue up with the staff.

Le plus beau et chaleureux hôtel que nous avons connu à Chypre. Tout est parfait et en plus nous mangeons très bien à bon marcher !! a recommandé à toutes personnes qui aiment le charme, le calme, les bons petits plats et un très sympathique accueil.

Tous,vraiment Exceptionnel le service charmant. Le resto de grande qualité.

Le resto de l'hôtel était fermé, mais un petit resto (exellent et pas cher) à 2 pas nous a servi de cantine.

Nicht weit vom airport, weit weg vom Massentourismus. Liegt in Traditionellen Dorf in den Bergen, Entschleunigung und Komfort

Ένα ήσυχο μέρος,ιδανικό για ζευγάρια που θέλουν να ξεκουραστούν και να ξεφύγουν απο την καθημερινότητα.

The location is within an very old village, entering the hotel is a huge contrast, still very classy but modern with high standards. The staff was excellent at all times! Thank you very much for making my trip memorable in so many ways.

The prices for the rooms are very reasonable, however the spa treatments (I did not try any) seemed a bit expensive. It is rather difficult to find the hotel, perhaps a somewhat bigger sign could be made. The breakfast started at 08:00 in the morning, perhaps a little late.

The room was clean amd very pretty. The staff was very polite and helpful. It was very relaxing and we are vety happy with our stay. We will definitely stay again.

The only problem was the air conditioning that we could not switch it on.

La struttura è stata ristrutturata molto accuratamente e la camera era ben arredata e confortevole, bagno grande con doccia e vasca idromassaggio. Aria condizionata. Colazione discreta servita nel cortile interno. Siamo stati solo una notte per essere vicini all'aeroporto il giorno dopo, da cui dista circa 40 minuti.

Kalavassos è un piccolo borgo su un'altura molto soleggiato e già a giugno faceva piuttosto caldo. Inoltre c'erano in corso lavori di ristrutturazione della via centrale per cui era piuttosto difficile la viabilità anche pedonale. L'hotel è piuttosto chiuso e la nostra stanza aveva una porta e una finestra sul cortile interno quindi senza aria. Vicino c'era un motore rumoroso che forse era dei frigo che ripartiva spesso anche durante la notte, piuttosto fastidioso. Non abbiamo usufruito del ristorante perchè era in una sala interna poco arieggiata e aveva un piccolo menù non rispondente alle nostre esigenze. Del resto anche in paese c'era poca scelta, un paio di taverne in mezzo ai lavori in corso!

Outdoor pool out of order. Need more detailed cleaning in the rooms. Restaurant needs better organisation esp. during lunch time.
