The multi-lingual reception staff were very friendly and obliging, including booking a transfer to Paphos. The wine bar staff were helpful in selecting wines and made it a pleasant place to relax. The room service was well organised and the meals were pleasing and good value. There were good business services available. Breakfast provision was of a good standard with plenty of variety The hotel was very well placed for exploring the old town, including crossing into theTurkish held sector, and within easy walking distance of many places of interest, including the main old town shopping and eating places, museums, churches, the walls and gates. The hotel has lifts only to some of the rooms and fairly steep steps at the entrance. For a 'small luxury hotel' there were weaknesses eg the carpets were stained upstairs, although the entrance and ground floor were very attractive. The non executive room and bathroom were both fairly basic, though entirely adequate |

Spacious room. Reasonable amenities. Excellent breakfast. Central location. Some staff inadequately trained. Quite old building. Irritating floor layout, could prove dangerous in an emergency. Bathroom towels worn out, should be replaced. Air condition would be either on or off, could not be regulated by thermostat (actual temperature). |

Its location... the location is great, just near the hottest streets in Nicosia and near the old town as well... Expensive comparing to its facilities... |

Room was great, much better than other reviews would have led you to believe. Was clean, spacious, and bed (space foam) was comfortable. Staff was variable - some were friendly and nice, some very brisque. Breakfast was good, though you should arrive early for better selection. Location is right within the old city, so easy walking distance to everything. TV was tiny. Water pressure in the shower could have been better. No internet in the rooms is a big loss - there's a free business centre and paid WiFi in public areas, but would be nice (and not that hard) to have it in the rooms. |

The breakfast is above 3 star standard. Generally, the room I got worth maximum 50 eur per night. But I paid almost 100 eur. Noisy from the street and corridor. My room needs to be renovated. Wireless only available in public area and 5 EUR/Hour. |

The location within the old city is fantastic. Easy to walk to major shopping areas, to parks, to historic sites in the old city, to the green line. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. The mattress of the bed was quite uncomfortable. |

I believe the hotel staff is really polite and help the customers to feel cosy and relaxed. They are always pleasant and happy to help you. I think the breakfast could be better in variety and quantity. |

Location is great and the staff are very helpful. It also has free internet facilities, which is a great help for people who do not like lugging their laptops around. They had no soap or lotion in the bathrooms, and also did not renew the coffee facilities on a daily basis, even if I stayed there for three days. |

The hotel is very close to the city center and is very easy to locate. The staff are very kind and the business center had high speed internet access which was very helpful. There is no elevator to the 3rd floor rooms only stairs. |
