Vasilias Nikoklis Inn  

Small family run / friendly but not intrusive.

Its authentic Cypriot charm and lack of commercialism. Would definitely stay again.

Vasilias Nikiklis Inn was extremely attractive set in the hills close to the Trudos Mountains. The owners and staff were very welcoming, pleasant and helpful. It was like a home from home. The rooms were very clean. It was great to be able to sleep at night without continuous noise and music from other parts of the hotel. Although the inn is in the country it is only 10-15 minutes from Pathos Airport and the directions from the inn are very easy to follow. Once there it is very easy to drive to Pathos town, harbour and Coral Bay and only takes about half an hour. We would stay there again.

A charming stone building in the foothills of the Troodos, full of atmosphere and the twitterings of swallows. Simple but with everything you need including a courtyard restaurant and swimming pool. We stayed there after a game of golf at Secret Valley, only 10 minutes away!

La maison est belle, les chambres à l'étage ont une jolie vue, on est au calme, la nourriture est bonne.

Si vous prenez la chambre à 60€ par booking, vous êtes dans une des 2 seules chambres à ne pas être à l'étage, minuscule, aucune vue, très peu de lumière rentre dans la pièce, aucune pression dans la douche, des vers de terre et autres bestioles rentrent par dessous la porte... La piscine est impraticable, très sale (2 grenouilles mortes y flottaient lors de notre passage, ça donne moyennement envie de se baigner...)

Easy 3-4 min from motorway. Strategic position to travel all around ( lemesos, pafos, polis, trodos ). If you look for silence and quiteness this is an excellent option. Wake up in the morning given by many happy birds. Good food at the restaurant. The Family Owner...Good People.

We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen in dit prachtig gelegen authentieke familie hotel. De service is erg attent zonder opdringerig te zijn. Goede verzorging. De kamers zijn sfeervol met balkon en worden dagelijks goed schoon gemaakt. Engels sprekend. Prima locatie van waaruit je mooie (vogel)tochten kunt maken.

Instalaciones poco cuidadas. Colchón incomodísimo, Baño sin secador de pelo.

The Vasilias Inn is pure Cyprus! The centre of Paphos is so commercialised with Debenhams,Next etc, but when you turn off the main road that is signposted Troodos and drive until you are surrounded by hills and lemon groves, you will find the Vasilias Inn nestling in among sweet jasmine and grape vines. We were there for a family wedding and fell inlove with the place. Christina and Dora are delightful and manage to look after you without intruding.Food is all home cooked and traditional and quite delicious and the local red wine (from the next village) is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and have a/c and fan and small fridge and sweet little balconies and wall lights for bedtime reading. The only sounds to wake you in the mornings are the birds and the goat herds wending their way down the hillside. The Inn is isolated, which is the wonderful thing about it, so you will need a car, but take time out to just enjoy that peace and when night falls take a moment to look up at the sky and take in all those stars you just cant see in our lit up world.
