Quiet and excellent view to the sea. Wouldn't rate it as a 5-star Hotel. Rooms and furnishing need to be replaced. Generally facilities (restaurants, quality of breakfast) are not like other 5-stars hotels. Swimming pool during our stay was always dirty. Not a value for money choice.

The location of the hotel, the rooms are quite big, suitable for families. Both the gym and the indoor swiming pool were closed on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

Short notice trip, for 1 night, got a very good deal. 26% compared to the room rack rate. Very clean, room size seemed slightly larger than average/typical set up. Breakfast was pleasant enough too. Being Cyprus in November we were a bit cold, and the air/con didn't switch into heat mode! They take a photo copy of your credit card which isn't destroyed when you leave. I paid via Amex which has the security number on the front, so wasn't happy. They told me the copy would be destroyed in one month when the payments have been confirmed.

Staff really nice, great location on beach, even though it was small. We got an upgraded room which was lovely, loved the robes and slippers. friendly room service, very relaxing, always free beds on the beach or round the pool, very chilled out place. close by to some lovely restaurants also.. Fat Mama's restaurant was good, with entertainment and lots of choice. really great time. lunchtime snacks at pool bar good also. we only had breakfast and poolbar lunches here, so can't comment on what the half board or inclusive food was like. taxi's are expensive, £8 euro minimum so a two minute hop along the rd seemed a lot, but that's Cyprus in general, can't really say anything bad about the place as had a great time.

Before going to Venus Beach I looked through the negative comments about the hotel and didn't believe them. Unfortunately, it turned out to be all true. 1. The hotel pre-authorized money on my debit card for the second time (bank said that) and claimed it was not true. 2.The furniture is really very old adn is about to brake (fridge, phone). 3. maid came at 4 P.M. and apologized she had so much work to do, that there was no time left for our room. 4.!!Beach: there are no breakwaters and is a sign:swimming at your own responsibility - very dangerous. Therefore: 3*, not 5.

The prises were very resonable. The pool was very nice and the food at the restaurand was very good. The rooms weren't rooms for a five star hotel. There was no luxury and it was more like a 3 star hotel room rather than five. Generally the hotel is a bit old.

This is not a 5 star hotel. It barely takes 2 stars. There was a storm in the area and we woke up and our ceiling was linking almost everywhere!!! Our bed was wet too!!! The tv also was soaked in water!!! I called to make a complain and the guy who answered the phone was very aggressive!!! They didnt even bothered to give as a new room. Avoid!!!

We liked only the view. We didn't like the fact that we booked a 5 star hotel and the hotel was maximum 3 stars. The "double" bed was in fact 2 single beds thas were screathing, uncoffordable and smelly sheets. Our room had a door seperating us from the next room where there were other guests and we could hear everything. It's an old hotel. Mini bar poor.

The hotel was just good. This hotel is not a five stars hotel its very poor for five stars in cyprus. The dinner was also very poor, not too much choices again for a 5stars hotel and also not tasty. The wardrobe in the room was broken, and to use the safebox in the room we need to pay 1 eyro per day just for a code.

The lobby and other common areas look nice, but the rooms are rather shabby. The hotel is out of town, near the Tombs of the Kings, but far from other sights and beaches. The beach is small, the sand isn't very nice, and do wear shoes because a lot of the way down to the beach is covered with thistles that will stick in your feet. They make you pay or leave a deposit for everything--the use of a beach towel, a plastic plug adapter, Internet. For what I got, I think it was overpriced. The reception staff was quite rude, and it was difficult to get their attention or help with simple things like information about places and distances.

First of all I have booked sea view room with extra premium and what we get was a room on the ground floor with garden and pool view. We have complaint at the reception and after a big discussion we managed to get a better room on the fourth floor with the actual sea view. The hotel needs a major renovation in order to meet the minimum standards for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was rich but not fresh. The beach there is not a way you can get in. The waves were huge and the beach was marked with a red flag from the coastguard as a very dangerous beach. The pool was full of people and kids. Very disappointed with my choice, will not happen again . . .

The price is good. Good value for money. Nice swiming pool area, good location The hotel rooms need complete renovation. Not a 5 star. I booked a superior room with sea view to spend a romantic weekend with my wife, and the room had 2 single beds. The water in the bathroom was going hot and cold and it wouldn't stay at a stable tempereture
