Venus Beach Hotel    

Stayed 6times and all was good

Only on B and B basis but food good so cant really comment.

Breakfasts. Location and excellent bus service into Paphos harbour area.

Air conditioning in room was poor.

Cleanish, big room

Dated, far from airport, 30 euro taxi or 2 EUROs on two buses. No Wifi, No Air-Con

Close to Paphos and coral bay.

There is no way this is a five star hotel, it never has been even when it was new, its very misleading to call this a five star hotel, at best its a good clean two star, everything is very tired looking and old, although clean, you would be very disappointed if you were staying there for a week, thankfully we were only there one day. The breakfast is very poor, and its obvious that the cheapest brands possible are used. They really need to close down and do a full refurbishment. As said two star hotel.

During the night we could not sleep well. There was too much noise from the next door room

Location, access to the beach. Across the road were a couple of friendly bars and some good places to eat (also some bad ones) , a Lidl and a couple of minimarkets. The buses to and from the harbour stopped outside.

Food was poor. We arrived late and had a horrible, dry sandwich which cost as much as the lunch the following day. We never ate at the hotel after that. Although we had a sea view we never got sun n the balcony.

Very Good location not to far out from town but far enough to be peaceful

The tranquility by the pool allowed us to relax. The close proximity of the beach was ideal & gave us the pool & sea option depending on our mood. The layout of the pool & the ample space between sunbeds also allowed for privacy.

Very little to find fault. Very comfortable and will book again for next May if I can find a good deal

Sun loungers need changing but noticed this was happening as I was leaving. So really very pleased

Excellent location, hotel interior.

I did not like Venus Beach room service.

Internet is too expensive and I do not understand why I have to pay for internet in 5 star hotel? This people forget that we are living in the internet era and free wi-fi is something usual everywhere, all the modern phones are looking for internet all the time. 12 Euro per day for Internet - this is crazy.

Nothing other than the location

very cheap, old fashioned, the furniture hasnt been updated or renovated for the past 20 years if not more. we were very dissapointed.

Friendliness of staff

Lacking entertainment during the week. Not a 5 star hotel as advertised. Would recommend hotel if looking for a 3-4 star stay with swimming pool facility

is an excused that since is a 5 star hotel,there is no free wi-fi..!! Unexcused..!!! to be honest this is the only reason that i will not visit again your hotel.. we are in 2012 Mr..

Breakfast was ok and pool was ok.

Checkin at 2pm. Arrive at 245pm and still had to wait 35mins for room to be sorted. Buffet not very good quality.

Excellent location, nice hotel, nice pool and decent gym. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of hot and cold items.

The a/c in the rooms wasn't very strong, the pool hours are from 10a-6p and the sun doesn't set until after 9...it would be nice if they wouldn't "shock" the pool until late at night so we could cool off from the 95 degree heat!

It is time to have a real rennovation. Is a very good hotel but it is getting old. The 5 stars are not really representing what you actually see. The service is good, it is clean but you cannot say that that is a five stars hotel due to the fact that is an old hotel. The pool is nice, Is the best I think it has. It is the time to do real changes in order to be a real five stars hotel.

The staff was very friendly and the location was good too. Only minutes away from Paphos port and castle and also very close to archaeological attractions.

It is definetely NOT a 5 star hotel. Its more 2-3 star. It needs a serious renovation!!!

The air condition wasn't work well. Please note that in Cyprus you need very good air condition because hot is too much.

Rooms need upgrading, breakfast facilities could be improved.

Sun loungers need upgrading, better organisation around pool area required.

Very old hotel.

First impressions are very good in the public areas.Choice of food at breakfast was very good.Room was comfortable and cleaning was effective and unobtrusive.Reasonable walking distance to centre of town and cheap and frequent public transport if a little crowded at times. Very good swimming pool,do not sea bath!!

No facilities to make tea or coffee in your room!!!Main meals a bit hit and miss,Exterior of the rear showing signs of a lack of maintenance. Seem to be cutting back on staff a little and somewhat disorganised. Still freezing the butter making it unusable until thawed out.

It's an unpretentious small hotel that is well located. I particularly like having a room on the same floor as the reception.

didnt like the breakfast it was very poor for five star, bathrooms need upgrade, mini bar wa not working and welcme basket very poor i would rate it a four star
