Very good location close to the city centre. Helpful day receptionist. Despite advance email and using hotel car to meet us on arrival in Prague, the hotel was completely unprepared to cope with early arrival. They could not even offer breakfast while we waited for the room to be ready. They suggested we wet to Starbucks or McDonalds! In room (we had a suite) there was a small kitchen but there was no coffee. When I rang reception to ask for coffee they said that it wasn't possible.

Great design of the rooms/ beautiful building. The house was generally over-heated and available pillows were very uncomfortable.

Rooms are great. Large and comfortable. Restaurant is great with delicious food. Try the duck! However, the staff are what make the Alchymist special. All very friendly, prepared to help and professional. Alex, running the restaurant, Thereza serving and Christina on the front desk all deserve special mention. Location is good. Close to Charles Bridge and the palace.

The hotel lived up to the many excellent reviews we had read. A wonderful place to stay; very quiet yet just a couple of minutes from the city centre.

An excellent hotel, with friendly staff, very quiet location although close to the Castle, the Charles Bridge, the greenery of Kampa island. Good restaurants around. The room itself is really a suite with a fantastic Mitteleuropean charm (we got the Arcimboldo Suite). I loved these 3 nights at the Alchymist, and will go back there for my next sojourn in Prague. I can't judge the breakfast, since I never take it

The staff was extremely friendly and genuinely concerned about helping us in any way that they could. The hotel itself is gorgeous – a boutique hotel with a classic /historic feel to it. There is really nothing that we did not like. A hotel cannot be in two locations - so its most convenient for the sights in the little quarter and castle quarter and requires a short and scenic walk to get to the old town square.

Very quiet location near Charles Bridge and Trams. Walking distance to historical centre. Rooms decorated in baroque fashion including dining room, something completly different to other hotels. Breakfast was the best and included hot food. would stay there again. Bed was really comfortable. Has set the standard for the rest of our trip.

The good: nice room in a fairy tale style, fits perfectly with your prague visit. Perfect cleanliness. Very good location 2 steps away from charles bridge. Wifi free. Very nice and kind staff The bad: limited service in terms of advice for concerts/ ballets. No room service on sunday as the below restaurant is closed. Price is high but apparently this is prague Overall would definitely recommend.

The room was extremely nice. They had upgraded us to a Junior Superior Suite and did not even mention it, just said they had a very nice room for us. The breakfast and one evening meal were high quality. The staff were very polite and friendly.

I like this place because it was very friendly and quite. I enjoyed staying, junior suite was rather big. Without breakfast, taking cofe and sandwich in a city. A lot of lovely places round the bridge. Quite close to the centre.
