Alpský hotel is situated in a calm part of Spindlerův Mlýn, in the valley of Svatý Petr. It takes you about 10 to 15 min. to get to the centre of the town on foot.
Near the hotel there is the biggest sports area Svatý Petr (5 minutes' walk). A free ski bus stops about 200 metres from the hotel. After a day on the slopes, the cosy Relax Club with sauna, jacuzzi, solarium and massages in the main hotel building is a great place to recharge your batteries. Alpsky hotel also caters for the needs of business guests, providing a convention hall and a wine room, which can be used for seminars, trainings and other company, cultural and social events.
The area of Špindlerův Mlýn is situated between 715 and 1310 metres above sea level, at the confluence of the Labe and Dolský rivers.
Špindlerův Mlýn has traditionally been known as the “Pearl of the Giant Mountains”, above all for its location among the highest Czech mountains, close to the peak of Mt. Sněžka, the highest point in the Czech Republic.
The mountains offer excellent conditions for recreation both in summer as well as in the winter months (hiking, cycling, skiing).
Enjoy excellently maintained downhill runs (25 km) and 75 cross-country trails, chairlifts and cable-cars. Professional instructors for skiing and snowboarding are a matter of course. In addition, there is a 4 km-long bobsleigh run, as well as the possibility of snowtubing, winter paragliding and even trips by horse-drawn sleigh with an experienced mountain guide to show the most beautiful areas of the Giant Mountains are offered.
