Near the main train station (2 metro stops away), tram station just outside the hotel. close to historical center.

reception staff ( not friendly - for example i asked a town map and the receptionist answered in an unkind manner that not have one). the breakfast was poor ( the coffe was not good). because I reserved 3 person but we stayed 2 ( the our child didn”t come with us ) we paid for 3 person ( because of the booking.com regulations !!!!????).

Everything. The best is location. It takes 5 minutes to get to the center of the Prague. Food was good. The staff was excellent.

I have stayed here before and will stay again. Small rooms but very cozy and clean, good amenities including TV with BBC World Service, refrigerators and electric kettle for tea upon request. Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet, and great location two minutes from subway station I.P. Pavlova and fifteen minutes from the Old Town/Stare Miesto. Not a luxury lodging but a good deal for the budget traveler.

Staff were very knowledgeable about the city and one in particular was very friendly - others weren't so. Breakfast very good and the room had a very nice bathroom.

On our first night the sheets and pillows had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and the light in the room did not work. The hotel changed the sheets immediately but it ruined our first night there. On the Booking.com confirmation it said our room had a sofa but it didn't - it was a very small room with no floor space.

good location, very near to the central station, can also reach the old town easily by the metro. Room is clean, very friendly service.

my room window just face straight to the roadside, and it's quite loud with the window open. But when the window is closed, it's totally ok.

The hotel is located near some medical station, so during the night many loud emergency cars pass. It can be disturbing!

It's literally a 2 minute walk to the subway system!

Even though we were in a non-smoking room, the room and the halls still smelled of smoke. There was a line of dust on the top of the mirror where you could tell the cleaning lady couldn't reach without standing on a step ladder. There was a burned out light in the main room that was never changed.

Very helpful and kind staff,did their best to make my stay comfortable,location near metro was an advantage, but also very convenient to explore the city by walking as hotel is located very close to Old city center. "Serious" breakfast with variety of options giving much energy for the day full of emotions.Very good hotel of economy category for a pleasant price. Recommend)))

There was some strange smell in my room, like somebody smoked too much and letting fresh air in from the outside did't help. I would prefer if simple tea or coffee bags were included - as sometimes wanted to drink hot tea before going to bed but always forgot to buy it beforehand...also there was no slippers and bath necessities (like gel,shampoo,etc...) but I am used to such things..

Had a great stay at Alton. Travelled with two young kids. The excellent service of Ms Romana, the Guest Relationship Officer was the key differentiator compared to other hotels. We had an early flight and she had arranged a fabulous breakfast for take away and was very helpful in general. While the hotel doesn't provide dinner, there is a very good Italian Restaurant adjacent. Rooms were clean and space adequate. Fast food outlets such as KFC and McDonalds were just a hop step and a jump away. Hotel is also close to the metro station. Hence location was good as well.

WIFI was slow but this is true with most hotels so no big deal.

The Hotel is located close to most things in Prague, 10 - 15 min walking, and there is also a lot happening in the neigbourhood itself. The staff is friendly and the room was clean, and wifi is usable. A good budget choice if the price is right.

I didn`t like the room, on the top floor with only a skylight, which made it feel like I was in the basement. And it was facing a very busy road with lots of noise from both cars and people through the night. I had even asked for a quiet room, but I was told that I had booked a economy room and all those were facing the noisy road. You should put that in the description, beacuse I will never book such a room again.

It's very plesen hotel wth handsome staff. Very comfortable location in Prague, not far from the main famouce city places. We walked only. If you can't speak English, receptionists can help you in Russian.
