Hotel Amadeus  

Staff were incredibly helpful. Excellent value for what you get. Excellent restaurant.

Beds were a bit firm.

The hotel's cosy and homelike, the stuff's very friendly and helpful. It's situated in a quiet area of the city but quite close tothe centre

I can't say I don't like anything there. It suits its 3-star status. Besides, I come to Prague (it's my 2nd visit) to see the sights not stay in a hotel

It's a budget hotel, and it's not far from the rail station. Just one team stop.

The bathroom was very small and a little smelly. The TV was from 80's. Small tube TV with poor image.

It is near the main train station and the staff is very friendly. There is free wifi.

Despite of the non-smoking signs people are smoking in the rooms and sometimes it still smells after they leave and you get their rooms.

Not a lot that I'd care to mention. Sure the breakfast was basic and the WiFi often a bit patchy (we were on 2nd floor at the end), but to be honest these are all minor points and not really important.

The size of the room is very good,it's clean and everything

At the first price of the hotel was super until I arrived at the hotel and the girl at the recepcion told me that they charge parking 16e/day! And the room is 20e/day I was very angry but okay next time I will find beter hotel who doesnt have extra costs.

It has nice architecture of the building, you can use patio and a breakfast is in a nice restaurant - a big one not just a cereal :)

Friendly staff and the breakfast was always fresh. Would stay there again.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

no soap holder in shower.A lot of stairs for a mature couple to negotiate.

The rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very close to the main train station + there was free wifi

The Hotel room was extremely well insulated from outside and the room next door. Location was excellent for getting in to the City centre.

The Garage has extremely tight parking bays. We arrived in a large Family Saloon and the parking place which was reserved for us was over a Yard too short. This was eventually resolved by re-assigning a different spot. A word of caution - if you book to park in the Garage make sure they know the size of car you are using, also reverse in it is easier to park.

Friendly hotel with some very good restaurants/bars with good food nearby. 1 stop on tram from main railway station ( walkable in 20 mins) and only 3 stops on tram to city centre . good breakfast!

No lifts so hard work getting 2 big suitcases to 3rd floor. 3rd floor rooms only had velux (attic) windows which were ok for short stay but like to see out!

Good spacious room, very good and friendly service at reception, good and free wi fi, good location, value for money.

The shower stand even fixed was not working.

Close to Florence bus station

Good location, always friendly staff, reasonable prices.

It was an awful odor in the room - looks like there was a problem with canalization.

Not far away from Old City

The room is big and well. It is a very budget hotel. very quite, and close to the tram station.

There is no lift. If you have big luggage, you need to carry it. The bathroom is not big, and the shower holder is broken in my room. the Wifi is not very well, at least no signal in my room.

Friendly staff, comfy place and room

Nice budget friendly hotel. Hotel was in a quiet but safe part of town. Hotel staff were very nice. Room was clean, quiet and had all the basic amenities. Breakfast was great.

Hotel was a little farther out from the central part of the city than I like but a convenient tram stop was close by and got you into old Prague in a few minutes (could walk but would take about 25 minutes).

Nice little hotel, close to the city centre (15-20 min walk),plenty of little pubs around with excellent beer and food, good value for money .

the good thing is hotel location, it is one tram stop to old town. hotel is good if you need to stop for short time near by the old town, good price for this kind of hotel. the staff is very kind.

there is no iron room, the tv control is only for money, very poor breakfast. But it is still ok for short stop for this money.

beds are not very confortable and the basket in the bathroom was not empty..., room smell cigarets, we are no smoking people i recommend this hotel only if you dont pay more that 35 euros for one night

Our room was a 60sqm condo on the last floor although we just booked a standard double room, we even had a fully equipped kitchen and a living room. View was a typical city view. Location was pretty good, 2 tram stops from down town, one tram stop from the main railway station. Connection was great with trams every 6 min. If you like walking like us you'd be disapointed because the walking route from the hotel to the city center was ugly. On the way from the hotel to the tram stop we had one great bar-restaurant and one restaurant (cheap as well) To sum up: good location, good transportation, good bars-restaurants around. PS1 Prague is great, visit it.

The reception lady that was there most of the times is the worst receptionist we've ever met. Rude and bored. Also we have been asked to leave 15 EURO deposit for a tiny remote control (!) and she asked the passport of my girlfriend too, I felt unwelcome. The room, albeit huge, well equiped and shiny was not clean. Spider web (and it's very active owner, the now dead from my flip flop one) on one corner, bathroom not clean enough, bedroom and living room had these carpets that are stuck to the floor and were very very very very very very smelly (and I guess dirty coz they demand lots of effort to be decently cleaned and I am sure Amadeus hotel did not bother to do that). Moreover we did not have sheets on the bed (only the mattress' cover), when we asked the rude receptionist for one she said "we don't use sheets in Czech Republic" (what about common sense?). Lastly the bed mattress was not comfortable at all and the drapes were so thin that we had a super bright room from 7 am (not cool). Breakfast was poor, and of poor quality as well. Worst part was when the last day we where there at 9:30 (it's ending at 10:30) and asked for more milk, a super thinned milk (for economic reasons?), and the stuff said "we don't have" WTF? To sum up: bad personnel, not clean room, not comfortable bed, poor breakfast. PS2 but do not stay in Amadeus.
