no control of air condition
Breakfast , room , place
Excellent location and value
Noise in the room when housekeeping.
Most of staff are really friendly . But there is one reception guy at night who is really rude and unpolite at all . He speaks with guests very rude . I think His name was Dudek .
Excellent location, good breakfast
Does not feel as 5 star hotel. Hotel is old, needs some refurbishment.
Perfect location, big rooms, very good breakfast.
Staff could be more friendly
bedrooms VIP breakfast room good variety of breakfast foods spacious junior suite very clean friendly staff
disregard for request for large bed and finding twin beds, but this was rectified once a better room was made available
Location is good Staff friendly and attentive Junior suite was spacious - but that meant that the mobile air com unit really struggled - see negative comments
A hotel that presents itself as a 5* must have the following: 1) Proper comfortable, large, soft quality linen bed - NOT containing a leak-proof layer under that makes guests' bums sweat; NOT with two pitiful pillows; NOT with two separate blankets on double bed 2) Proper air conditioning - NOT a noisy and low efficiency mobile unit in the corner 3) Proper health club, including a swimming pool and sauna and gym - NOT a dodgy-sounding Thai massage joint 4) Proper towels - NOT worn, old, greyish cloths 5) Quality of breakfast - even taking into account local style, juices were not of 5* quality
Location Staffs helpfull
Mention in their facilities aircondition but aircondition is not working
Location size of the room
Slow elevators some parts of the hotel need refurbishment some improvements on the breakfast selection could be made
Unbeatable location in Wensleslas Sq yet well insulated from exterior noise. Walking distance to many of the main attractions (for active walkers all of them) A 'grand hotel' of traditional type with masses of space and good public areas. Bedroom and bathroom top class. Breakfast buffet with huge selection of hot and cold, worked well even with large numbers. Evening meal (one) quality high.
In my experience nothing adverse to say.
I blame booking.com to consider this hotel as 5 star which is completely wrong it is 3 star hotel at most. it is waste of money and time
airconditioning was not good!!
Location of the hotel
Unfortunately it is rather noisy place.
Perfect location , price , recommended for friends trip , concierge
I would say it is 4 plus star hotel , wasnt luxurious enough , rooms not quit
Mattress was hard, didn't feel like 5 star
Best hotel in Praha
Excellent location Spacious room
Old hotel, it needs some renovations Not five stars worthy imo Wifi signal was very weak in our room
The hotel with out air conditioner Noisy furniture is very old
The hotel itself did not seem like 5 stars. We travel Europe quite often and have stayed in several 5 star hotels. The hotel was run down and the beds were not very comfortable. It didn't have proper ac in the summer heat and although it had a nice tub in the bathroom it was dirty! Def not a 5 star. Prague itself is beautiful but I still much prefer Budapest:)
The location of this hotel is prime. Everything is within walking distance. Being located in the pedestrian area made it much more doable. Our car was in their parking garage and secure, allowing us to not worry as much about the safety of it. The breakfast that was included is by far the best breakfast we have had included in any European hotel. Loved it! And although they stopped serving at 1000, they didn't kick us out. We were allowed to sit, finish our conversation and drink coffee until 1030. The rooms are absolutely beautiful! And they all had a portable AC in there, which I'm sure will be awesome during warmer months. We turned ours on because you can hear everything outside in the hallway and other rooms. Made for a great sleep this way!
The staff was rude at the front desk. They also were too nosed into who we were and why we were only visiting for a day. It made is all feel uncomfortable and sketchy.
