Speaking of the room, it doesn't look too much like the pictures they provided. Floor was dirty with dust and the sheet was causing allergic reaction, but the reception and cleaning lady was friendly enough, and they did try make the room better after we spoke to them. Only hairdryer, towels and showergel were provided, nothing else. Don't forget to prepare your own toothbrush etc.
If you are hoping to get to attractions easily, I don't recommend you to stay here as it's far away from everything. There is Metro station close by and that's why I chose it, but you don't really need metro as metro doesn't get you far, trams do. Prague is small enough, but staying in Praha 1 will be a much better option. No comments for breakfast, if you are looking for sth nice to start your day with, don't book it here. All I could eat was boiled egg and hot tea. Last but not least, DON'T BOOK THE TAXI TO THE AIRPORT WITH THE RECEPTION! The female driver drove us in her private car. The rate is higher rate than regular price which we knew beforehands, but what I really dislike is her attitude. She was complaining about how much luggage we had when I already told the hotel staff that we have 3 big luggage a and of course hand carry bags. She was also complaining luggage getting her car dirty, etc., I just told her to put the "dirty" suitcase on my lapse to shut her up. Appreciate tourist who visit in dark cold winter time to support your economy in such low season, and complain less.
No problem at all. Staff was very very helpful and friendly.
This is a good hotel with excellent breakfast. The parking is in a lot underneath the hotel that you access via a car elevator. The front desk recommended an excellent nearby restaurant.
Two drawbacks. First our bathroom had obviously been used as a smoking lounge. When we asked for a nearby place for pizza/pasta, they directed us down to the tourist area (it was freezing rain outside and way too far to walk in the rain). We stepped outside and found an excellent restaurant serving great pizza and pasta within sight of the hotel.
Location. A hotel is near to metro.
I didn't have any kettle in the room and every time gave a hot woter from the reception. It was a problem for me becouse I was sick
The hotel is in walking distance from Vaclavske Namesti, and just outside of an underground station. There are grocery shops and cafes very close to the hotel. The family room that we chose was very spacious. The breakfast had nice selection of food.
Our room, located over the hotel restaurant, was filled with smell of food, probably Indian food. It was very difficult to leave the underground parking with a large car. People are allowed to smoke in the small hotel lobby, which you need to pass. That's awful.
Location is good.
Restaurant was not open for lunch. Pet is charged 10 Euros a night. Wifi didnt work for about 14 hours.
Tasty and rich breakfast, Convinient location, Comfortable bed, Perfect view from the balcony, Good value
Wifi sometimes sucks during midnight
- Very good position, across the tramway station and 10 min walking to Wenceslas square - Underground parking - View from 6th floor to the castle - Breakfast with lot of options
- Dust on the floor, rusty shower head - AC fan cannot be turned off, noisy during night
Very good location (tram and subway just 2 min away to get to the centre), very good breakfast(ham, cheese, fruit salad, eggs, tea, dark bread), rooms are very silent, although you are in front of the main street, rooms are very clean, you have a parking garage in the hotel (very cheap 12€ per day)
u could not open the window in the room (but the air is not that bad)
we liked the location and the choices for breakfast were great for us. The room was clean and quite quiet. We were apprehensive about the space because of a review but found it was enough for us.
The room was too hot at night for me, I would have appreciated a sheet and quilt for choice, but not usual in hotels these days!
Decent walking distance to the main attractions and metro station
Poor bed Poor sound insulation Shower in bathtub with shower curtain Beds not done neatly
Great location, execelent value for the money
Minimal breakfast, very bad WiFi.
The localization is great; rooms are quite big and comfortable; breakfasts offered very wide choice.
The bed was combined of two, which meant a break between the mattresses - not quite comfortable; you could hear every noise or conversation from the corridor (why not put a carpet there?); the breakfast lounge staff was obviously unhappy when we stayed a few minutes over the breakfast end time (10.00 am - a bit shortish); the bathroom had a bath with a courtain - it would be healthier to offer a glass or plastic panels; Wi-fi was unstable.
Can't beat the location--short walk from Pavlova stop on the red line--two stops from the main train station. Got a very friendly greeting, a city map, recommendations on what to see, and a great restaurant recommendation (Pivovarsky Dum is just down the street). Room was clean. Coffee service provided. Breakfast (0700-1000) was a great selection of food with healthy options. The automatic coffee machine was wonderful. WiFi was great and they had servers for each floor so you got a good signal strength.
Some things didn't work. Shower head wouldn't stay in its holder so was forced to hold it. While there was a fridge in the room, it didn't cool.
Convenient location and quiet. Secure on site parking was excellent! Clean, a good breakfast and a friendly, helpful staff.
Wifi was sporadic. Although not a big issue the towels had seen better days. Could have been softer.
No available wifi. Staff was very keen to help but we got the wrong direction from them.
Neat and clean rooms and within budget
great breakfast city centre connection by tram cca 10 min. multi language personal (DE, EN, CZ/SK, HU,...) free parking
Wish to have hot water cattle and ironing board in room.
Excelent superior rooms. Excelent value for the money.
Smoking allowed in the lobby
Room was very good and clean.
Wifi did not work at all. Very poor reception. Needs further upgrade on wifi service.
location confort view at 8 floor
We stayed in Ankoa for 6 days. the Hotel is close to Metro station I.P Pavlova and near a nice restaurant named Pizza and Pasta House. The hotel offers great location (you can walk to Karl's bridge via streets of Prague and explore the city) The hotel staff was very very informative and with perfect behavior. the hotel was quite and very clean If I will go back to Prague, it will be the location that I will choose without no doubt.
The WIFI works really bad.
Good personnel. Parking in own garage, pet-friendly. It was ok to leave the car in the hotel after check-in.
Cold floor in the room, no carpets. Light from outside came into the room through the poor shading all night.
I got upgraded to the delux room with bath and even a micro oven. It was great to stay in the delux room.
What a Czech women! Female staffs: no smile, unconcerned answer and independence to the guests. And the location is also in the new town of the Prague so you should take metro everyday.
