Aparthotel Angel  

The hotel has potential and the price was okay (see didn't like section). There are two metro entrances, bus station, tram station, several restaurants, and a grocery store within 2-3 blocks of the hotel. There were also street vendors, setup in semi-permanent booths, selling food near one of the metro entrances.

We arrived at the hotel and found the front door locked with a note stating “back in 10 min.” After 30 minutes, we left to find a restaurant. We returned an hour later to find the clerk outside chatting with a woman. After check in, we noticed that he spent a lot of time standing out in front of the hotel with the woman. I hope that no one tried to call the hotel. The entrances in the underground parking (parking costs 15 euro a day) are not marked. Following the directions of the front desk to find our room sent us to the wrong stairwell. I had to exit the building find the right stairwell entrance and then find my family in the wrong stairwell (With all of our bags and a wheelchair, this was not fun). Check-in is at 1400, the room was not ready by 1500. a woman in street clothes was in the room talking on her mobile phone and trying to ready the room. She barely acknowledged our presence and when she handed me extra toilet paper, she smelled of liquor. We did not realize how dirty the floors were until we had walked on the floors barefooted for a couple of hours. The bottoms of our feet were black. We did not check the oven when we first arrived and by the time we did (2230), we did not want the hassle of dealing with the front desk. On check out, I attempted to explain the cleanliness issues and was told that I should have told them when we checked-in. Obviously, they could not go back and fix my stay; however, I just wanted to inform them. The women at the front desk acted as if she did not care. I guess

Very nice place, nearby Metro, tram, but also at walking distance of old town. Plenty of room, better than in a hotelroom. We did not cook in the apartment, only breakfast. Big shoppingcenter (with Tesco) were we bought bread etc. We enjoyed the stay very much, and we would come back if we are going to Prague again! We came from airport by bus 100 and with the metro (Andel), that is very cheap.

The apartment could be made nicer with paintings, colours or plants.

I liked the apartment very much. The staff were very friendly. The location is excellent

No toilete paper

We had a lovely stay, great apartment, well positioned for the town centre and in a new and trendy area.

Great value for money...close to main sights but not in the midst of main tourist sights...great for family...clean spacious rooms...great shopping near...next to public transport...parking easily available...safe...clean...would recommend to anyone....

The only complaint is lack of wi fi...vut I guess wen you are out explori.g such fabulous city in a few days you dont miss it much..

Look under the sofas. Absolutely disgsting. Check out, 11:00, is too early. Unflexible, even when no one is booked in the room.

Aparthotel was indeed an apartment worthing the word hotel5stars CLean, warm silent, I went there with my parents and they loved it, and me too. We walked to the city center it's 20 minutes, and we took the public transport, it's really well connected either to the old town either to the castel and old casle

Maybe I would have asked for more glasses, there were just 3... that's it! And my father said to be perfect there should have been olive oil in the kitchen :)

good location, comfort, possibility for self catering.The cleaning was very good.

First night it was cold - in 1 room heating was not working. Second night they changed us rooms - everything was perfect.

The apartment was bigger than I expected. It was cleaned every day which was nice. Good wired internet connection. Very close to the supermarket, whose self service checkouts can be selected in English & German making them very easy to use. Good location with tram, bus and metro stops very close.
