The best thing was the room itself. In fact it was not a room, but a huge apartment, with two very large rooms, and a large balcony. I do not know how it the other rooms are the same size, but ours (301 A) was really huge. Both the living room and the bedroom had a TV. The living room also had a small electric stove and a kitchen sink. Location is good, in the Malostranska area, 15 minutes from the metro station- more if you walk slower. walking from Malostranska you go uphill, but you can take the tram and the go down to the hotel.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. It takes 10 mins walk from the hotel to the tram station. Location is fine and very close to the Prague Castle area (10 mins walk). The room is very big and well decorated. Breakfast is OK. The only disappointed is there are no shower curtain in the bathroom and the TV quality is not that good. Other then that, this hotel is really and highly recommended.

The location is perfect: 5 min to Opera, 5 min to the Ring, on a quiet street. The staff was friendly and accommodating, spoke good English. The room is cozy and has all the necessary basics, even the fridge and stove. Everything is clean. You actually feel like you are a resident because the building is authentic and you use your own key to get in. The breakfast is very good. Wi-Fi is available without a problem

The location of the hotel was very good. Mala Strana is a convenient area if you plan to stay in Prague for a weekend trip considering the Old Town is packed with tourists all year around. This area is charming and much more quiet during the nights. Also the castle is really close by. Walking to the Old Town takes about 15 minutes. The walls were thin so you could hear the other guests talking, watching TV or moving around their rooms. The breakfast could have been better, more varied.

Ideal location, tucked away and quiet yet only 5-10 mins walk to the main attractions. Good selection of bars and resturants near by. We had a lovely light and spacious room with everything we needed provided for.

Very nice hotel with very nice rooms and staff. Close to all sights. Price was very good as well. We stayed there twice already and plan on going back. Breakfast could be fresher and they should have more variety of foods. Fresh juices, fresh fruits and better coffee...Other than that it was ok. I did expect more though

We stayed in the Mandarin Oriental in Prague earlier in the year which was lovely but very expensive and so, we were very pleased with the quality and value of Appia Residences, we really can't fault it in any way and would definitely choose to stay there again.

The necessity to pass through outside to get to the breakfast area was not too nice, bearing in mind that winters are cold in Prague. Coffee served at breakfast wasn't necessarily of the best sort, much better coffee is served in the Czech Republic.

Nice place in a quiet part of beautiful Mala Strana in Prague. Hotel had style and atmosphere, was former monastary. Room was spatial and nicely decorated. Breakfastroom in the attic was impressive. Value for your money. I missed at breakfast sweet things like jam preferably home made and in a big jar (suggestion) .

Appia Residence is an excellent place to stay because of: 1. location - in Prague 1 and yet very quiet and tranquil; 2. security - near the German and US Embassies so passing cars and buses are checked by police; 3. easy access - a short walk from the hotel and take bus 292 to easily reach the street to Charles Bridge, and also to return to hotel at the end of the day, and a 5-minute uphill walk to Prague Castle; 4. facilities - the hotel has a lift , 24-hour reception and kitchen in the suite is very useful; 5. breakfast - the buffet breakfast is generous and satisfying. 6. Free wifi - excellent internet access. We stayed in Room 403A. I would like to suggest a shower curtain in the bathroom and a wall-hung dish rack for drying the dishes in the kitchenette.

Excellent location as quiet & away from the centre. However, it is a good 10-15 minute walk to the old town downhill, (meaning uphill after a day out!) & mainly cobbled. Room (suite) very comfortable. Breakfast good- historic breakfast room! The staff were very helpful & polite. The place really had a very relaxing atmosphere. Two things that could be improved upon-the small bar area could be made cosier & more inviting & the bathroom would benefit a shower door as the wall shower could only be used while sat in the bath.
