I liked absolutely everything about Appia ! Staff was friendly and helpful and all spoke good english. The double room we stayed in was really big and very clean. Bed was huge and comfortable :) The breakfast was absolutely lovely - everything was nice and fresh and you could find something for everyone! Location was also brilliant - 5 minutes away from Charles bridge and maybe 10 minutes away from the castle. I would recommend the hotel to everyone.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Prague. It would be very difficult to find any faults with our stay. Our room was fantastic and the breakfasts were amazing, and all within a five minute walk of the shops!
Everything.. I stayed in a studio with a kitchen corner which is in fact a small apartment.. beautiful interior design, cosy & charming & well equipped/furnished hotel room & the hotel's premises, just right breakfast buffet, very comfortable bed (the best mattress I've had in a hotel so far, i.e hard for back problem sufferers), very approachable & accommodating staff, great location.. will certainly be my choice when back in Prague.
Nothing I could possibly think of.
It was very good situated we booked the suite and we were satisfied. Very clean.
Very good place to stay for couple of days in Prague. In a walking distance from the city center, while still in a very quiet area.Nice atmosphere, good breakfasts,
Nothing really to mention.
Place, silence, very comfortable, service is pleasant! The best of all the hotels I've seen in Prague (I be been in 6)!!!!
About 10 minutes to the nearest tram station, but for me it's plus!
spacious suite with kitchen facilities lovely bathroom with deep bath and shower buffet breakfast with lots of choice near restaurants and shops quiet area very near castle
we didn't mind the walk uphill from Charles Bridge area/Metro/tram to get home but some less fit people might.
The only grumpy thing I have to say is the pillows were tall and wouldn't flatten down.
Clean spaces, all the other staff were pleasant and helpful. Good location.
One front desk staff member was rude, unhelpful, and acted annoyed at our questions. She wasn't forthcoming with restaurant recommendations. We needed to call our bank internationally, and the phone in our room wouldn't dial out. We told her this once, (she told us we "couldn't use" the front desk line) then returned to our room to try again, and failed. When we returned to the front desk to ask for help again, (and for her assistance in dialing the line) she started slamming her papers, and evidently didn't know how to call the toll free bank number that is printed on the back of bank cards. If she had been pleasant about the situation it wouldn't have been problematic, but her attitude was terrible. Aside from her, the rest of the staff was pleasant and professional.
Although ours was the least costly unit it felt like a large homey bedroom with a separate foyer and large bathroom. The view was of a nice garden. The dining room had remarkable ambience and a wide selection including 2 egg choices, sausage, cheese, meat and fruit. On a quiet street just a block from a main tourist street to the castle but equally close in the other direction were embassies, boutique shops and unique galleries. A great value in an ideal location.
the address of this hotel is good, It is very near to the Charles Bridge, it is safe area. many restaurant near to the hotel. the staffs are good, very helpful
Wonderful location close from Charles bridge and prague castle.Lot of eateries around.Very charming hotel with superb decor. We were in a suite room with nice Hall and kitchen facility.Very spacious rooms and convenient bed.Quite spacious bathrooms.Very good, cooperative and helpful staff eager to assist to queries.WIFI connectivity was good.Nice room for breakfast with good spread.Would like to come for stay again
Nothing at all.
Helpful staff, complete facilities with excellent WiFi, and great breakfast. Nice private terrace and small garden walkway for guests.
Great location in Old Town close to Charles Bridge but, at first, a little difficult to find.
We liked everything about this hotel. The staff including the breakfast staff were excellent in every way. The location was perfect for sightseeing and for restaurants. We would stay at this hotel again.
The Appia Residences exceeded our expectations. We travelled with a group of people who stayed at a less expensive hotel...they all regretted it. From check-in to check-out this location is far better than those "city center" hot spots which were double the price. Essentially you are only a few blocks from the castle and another few blocks in the opposite direction to the Charles Bridge. It's location is much quieter and serene with no traffic noise. We chose the Junior suite which was spacious with a small separate room for our 15-year old daughter. We thought the price was reasonable and a good value overall.
I list no air conditioning as a negative because most Americans would expect to have A/C, but you don't need it in Prague. The hotel windows are spacious and open wide to bring in plenty of cool fresh air. There are no negatives to this hotel. Go to Trip Advisor and look at the photos then compare the price with other hotels in the area.
The apartment was huge (I expected just a room!). The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a lovely quiet location. The breakfast room was amazing, as was the food and presentation. The fabulous castle was literally only a 5 minute walk away and Charles Bridge less than 15. Would recommend.
excellent location, good breakfast and the rooms with the terrace are really nice
not enough power outlets.if you have a camera and a phone and also need to use the fan you need to unplug the lights
A very nice and quiet place, near to Charle's Bridge and the Castle. Lovely small restaurants nearby.
No view from our room but it doesn't matter because we stayed in the room only for sleep.
- we had a small patio of our own in front of our room on level-1 - really spacious rooms! amazing - great roof restaurant, super cozy atmosphere - hotel is very quiet and feels secure, close to several embassies
- wifi was a little bit strange, had to log on different networks all around the hotel, on the other hand it's good to go offline during vacation right?
Very nice historic building, huge apartment, very clean and nicely equipped, charming and very helpful staff, very calm and peaceful place in the evening, fantastic breakfast
Excellent location, spacy rooms, superior breakfast, quite sleep in luxury apartments.
There was nothing what we didn't like.
Quiet location but just a stroll away from the sights. Very nice rooms and a great secluded outside terrace. Good breakfast with choice of hot and cold food. Every room has a free to use wi-fi router and that includes public areas, just like being at home.
Can't say that there was anything we did not like about this hotel and would definitely use it again.
location, spatious rooms, good breakfast
we had no climatization in our room at the last floor
Quiet yet marvelous location. Fantastic breakfasts. Very clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. Great to have separate sitting and sleeping rooms. Wi-Fi was a bit dodgy in our rooms but fine in the Lobby area. Pleasant garden to relax in. Just right for our needs.
